Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a method-suitable covering according to the preamble of claim 16.
  • a method of the generic type is known from US-A 3,341,996.
  • the substrate is provided with a coating consisting of a hard-drying material, which is applied to the substrate in a plasticized state and contains the magnetic bulk material.
  • the covering consists of flexible tiles, with strips in a first embodiment being embedded in the underside of the tiles, which are designed as iron or steel parts or are formed from a resinous matrix into which magnetic particles are integrated, and in a second embodiment instead of the above-mentioned strips are provided over the entire surface of the tiles, which, like the last-mentioned strips, are formed from a resinous matrix into which magnetic particles are integrated.
  • it is a matter of the parts added to the actual covering in the form of strips inserted into assigned grooves, or in the form of plates glued to the underside.
  • Binder layers containing iron or magnetic powder are applied to the base, which are hardened before the covering is laid.
  • a primer to be applied on the underlay or a filler to be applied on the underlay can be prepared or mixed on site without a lot of technical aids and applied to the substrate.
  • the measures according to the invention accordingly result in a high level of accuracy and ease of installation and thus overall a high level of quality and economy. Also high basis weight, no internal tension, preservation of the flexibility of the covering, large-area adhesion, no unevenness.
  • a sheet-like laying support containing magnetically attractable bulk material can easily be used, which can consist of foil, nonwoven, fabric material or the like.
  • Such a laying pad adheres due to its comparatively high weight with sufficient reliability on the base and can therefore be laid loose in an advantageous manner.
  • Another embodiment may consist in providing the substrate with a suitable filler and / or a suitable primer, herein magnetically attractable bulk material is integrated, which facilitates the mixing process and enables an even distribution of the magnetically active material over the entire volume.
  • the device containing magnetically attractable material on the underside can simply be made electrically conductive.
  • this can simply be perforated and / or provided with an all-round, conductive coating.
  • a further advantageous measure can consist in the fact that magnetically active bulk material is integrated into the near-surface material area already during the manufacture of the underlay, in particular during the manufacture of raised floor panels forming the underlay.
  • ferromagnetic iron powder can easily be used, which is available at low cost.
  • Barium ferrite powder can be used to form the magnetically attractive material, which can be made permanently magnetic after application, which ensures simple processing.
  • the double floor on which the drawing is based consists of supports 2 placed on a substructure 1, for example in the form of a concrete ceiling, etc., and double floor panels 3 resting thereon.
  • the supports 2 provide a cavity 4 between the substructure 1 and raised floor panels 3 for receiving installation devices, as by the tubes 5 is indicated.
  • the Raised floor panels 3 can be chipboard, sheet metal, stone, lightweight concrete, etc. The example shown should be based on chipboard.
  • this consists of a plurality of tiles 6a to be laid next to one another, the cut of which corresponds to the cut of the raised floor panels 3, and which are laid in such a way that mutually covering edge edges result. It is therefore possible in a simple manner to expose and remove individual raised floor panels 3 in order to provide access to the cavity 5. However, it would also be conceivable to lay the tiles 6a with a joint offset relative to the raised floor panels 3 in order to bridge any small tolerances in the thickness of the raised floor panels 3.
  • the covering 6 is designed here as a carpeting. Accordingly, the tiles 6a are designed as carpet tiles.
  • a carpet floor covering of the present type contains a pile-like, textile top layer 7 and a carrier layer 8 which fixes the textile material and consists of suitable materials, such as plastic, etc.
  • the base and the associated base are provided with magnetically attractive devices. These are formed by magnetically attracting or attractable bulk material. Magnetically attractive powder 9, for example barium ferrite powder, is integrated into the carrier layer 8 of the covering 6. As indicated in the drawing, this is embedded in the carrier layer 8 with a uniform spatial distribution. Instead of barium ferrite powder, strontium ferrite powder or the like could also be used. These materials can be made permanently magnetic after being introduced into the covering by appropriate influencing with a magnetic field are so that ferromagnetic iron powder 9 etc. is attracted to it.
  • the double floor panels 3 forming the base are provided with a laying support 10, into which magnetically attractable powder 11, for example ferromagnetic iron powder, is integrated, which is accordingly attracted by the powder 9 of the covering 6, which leads to a magnetic adhesion of the covering 6 .
  • magnetically attractable powder for example ferromagnetic iron powder
  • the laying pad 10 consists of a two-layer film, between the top and bottom layers of which the powder 11 is placed and fixed by means of an adhesive or binder.
  • a fleece or a fabric etc. could also be used.
  • the laying pad can be designed to be electrically derivable in a simple manner by receiving an all-round, electrically conductive coating and / or perforation distributed over its surface and fillable with conductive material.
  • the laying pad 10 which here also has a tile-shaped cut with the base plates 3 or the covering-side tiles 6a of corresponding size, can be placed loosely on the associated base, here in the form of the raised floor panels 3, which ensures easy removal.
  • the relatively high basis weight resulting from the integrated metal powder ensures a reliable position.
  • the laying support 10 could of course also be glued to the associated base and / or brought into a form-fitting connection therewith, for example by integrally formed locking knobs 12 which can be snapped into assigned, bottom-side locking holes 13.
  • magnetically attractive material such as barium ferrite powder etc.
  • which can be made permanent magnetic after the incorporation, in the covering 6 also permits the use of a base made of ferromagnetic material, which is the case, for example, when using steel plates or plates covered with steel sheet Case is.
  • a base made of ferromagnetic material which is the case, for example, when using steel plates or plates covered with steel sheet Case is.
  • documents in their outer layer can be integrated in the production of bulk goods, for example for concrete slabs etc. In such cases, of course, there is no laying pad of the type shown here.
  • a primer and / or a filler in which a magnetically attractable material is integrated, such as ferromagnetic iron powder, which mixing the primer or filler easier.
  • barium ferrite powder or strontium ferrite powder etc. must be provided on the lining side.
  • Primer and filler can be used together. In many cases, however, a primer is enough.
  • Epoxy resin which dries quickly and gives a hard, wear-resistant surface, can expediently be used as a binder, which is particularly advantageous if the surface is exposed for a long time, as is often the case on construction sites.
  • the iron powder is expediently stirred into the binder such as epoxy resin on site.
  • Zinc stearate can be used for this. This material is mixed in a powdery form with a proportion of about 2% of the iron powder etc. Then everything is heated to about 70 ° C. The zinc stearate melts and forms the desired protective layer.
  • a preferred application of coverings of the type according to the invention are only briefly required floor coverings for exhibition stands, sports halls etc. or removable coverings on floors containing installations etc.
  • the advantages according to the invention including the good, slip-proof adhesion, are also advantageous in the case of stair runners and stair mats.
