Definitions
- the invention relates to a digestor sewer system for buildings (see US-A-4,107,795) and vehicles, especially passenger coaches, with a wastewater generating unit, for example a water closet or a kitchen sink, and one Transport route for connecting the unit to a container.
- the invention has for its object a sewer system of the generic type in the simplest possible and inexpensive way to design that accruing Environmental waste water in the form of perfectly cleaned, germ-free water can be easily supplied, residues in the form of solids in the waste water should be avoided.
- the transport path is provided with a cutting device for comminuting solid parts of the wastewater, a filter bed for the biological decomposition of the comminuted solid parts being arranged essentially in CO 2 and water, and the container also being a Device for the evaporation of both the waste water and the water produced by the biological decomposition and a condensation space open to the atmosphere.
- a waste water generating unit 1 here a water closet, is located in the end area of the passenger car whose Floor 9 is drawn in dash-dotted lines.
- This unit 1 For flushing this unit 1 via a downpipe 10 on a domestic water tank 11 connected. Sewage and faeces get into it via a transport route 2 into a disposal container 3, wherein the transport route 2 consists essentially of one Pipeline 2b and a pump 2c with an integrated Cutting unit 2a for crushing solids in the Sewage exists.
- the pipe 2b also contains one Non-return valve 2d to the transport route 2 in view on the high speed traffic towards the Close toilet unit 1 pressure-tight.
- a filter bed 6 made of specially prepared, natural filter fibers is arranged within the container 3.
- This filter bed 6 is used for the biological decomposition of solids in the wastewater with the help of bacteria and organisms, which are mainly contained in human waste.
- Decomposition mainly produces CO 2 and water.
- the CO 2 passes through an opening 7a in a vent line 7 to the outside.
- the biologically acting filter bed 6 is supplied with oxygen through the opening 7a.
- the biological decomposition is further promoted by the cutting of the solids by the cutting unit 2a.
- the wastewater and the water resulting from the decomposition flow into a storage chamber 8 within the container 6 and from this chamber 8 to a device 4 for Evaporate.
- the device 4 is essentially from the actual evaporation space 4a and a heating element 4b formed, which is preferably operated electrically, but also designed for other energy sources - such as propane gas can be.
- the water vapor passes through an outflow pipe 4c into a condensation room 5.
- the condensate is concerned perfectly cleaned, germ-free water, the constantly exits through the drain pipe 5a. Small quantities Excess water vapor escapes through the vent line 7.
- the outflow pipe 4c is like this formed that no condensate in the evaporation space 4a can drip.
- a partition 12 Between the container-side space of the filter bed 6 and the storage chamber 8 is a partition 12, whose The height determines the volume of a water reservoir, which is favorable for balancing peaks in operations.
- the the same purpose serves a partition 12 'between the pantry 8 and the evaporation chamber 4a, with the water collecting there and one not shown Volume switch the supply of energy for the heating element 4b is controlled.
- the heating element 4b one can average evaporation rate of 4 liters per hour and WC unit 1 can be assumed. For cost reasons and also with a view to as even a utilization as possible it is recommended to have two toilet units on one disposal container 3 to connect, in the area of the middle of the carriage is arranged. If you increase the necessary average Capacity of 8 liters per hour and car taking into account from operational peaks to about 20 for safety reasons Liters, this is an output of 12.5 kW for the heating element 4b sufficient.
- the container 3 does not have two for this shown connections (inlet and return).
- the rinse water can easily into the public sewer be directed.
- the evaporation space 4a should be for one also only to be carried out at larger intervals Elimination of minerals in the evaporation stay behind, easily accessible or removable from the outside be.
- the described disposal container 3 can because of its effective way of working and the constant possibility of running run much smaller than clean water the well-known collecting tanks in high-speed trains. Of the Containers also take up less installation space. Furthermore the evaporation process has a favorable effect on operational safety out; icing in particular becomes reliable prevented.
