Claims (4)

  1. Procédé de fabrication d'une poutre creuse en bois (50) de section rectangulaire selon la méthode de construction composite, cette poutre étant composée d'éléments distincts (21) renfermant un espace creux (51), s'étendant dans la direction longitudinale de la poutre (50) et étant reliés les uns aux autres, procédé au cours duquel, en vue de la fabrication des éléments distincts (21) de la poutre creuse en bois (50) à réaliser, on découpe d'abord dans des rondins coniques (1, 2) un madrier central, de façon à obtenir un madrier central (4) de forme parallélépipédique si la coupe est parallèle au coeur et un madrier central (4) en forme de coin si la coupe est parallèle aux fibres et on ménage sur les deux segments extérieurs (5) du tronc résultant de cette opération, trois surfaces extérieures (6, 7, 8) distinctes les une des autres, puis on sépare (18) les segments extérieurs séchés (5) du tronc perpendiculairement à la surface de coupe (q) entre ces segments et le madrier central (4), la surface de coupe (18) séparant les segments extérieurs (5) étant agencée de telle manière que les extrémités des cernes n'aboutissent pas sur une même surface de coupe et que la surface extérieure intermédiaire (8) soit dégrossie parallèlement à la surface de coupe (q) du rondin (1, 2) ou parallèlement aux fibres, et on assemble par collage une poutre creuse (50) en bois à partir de quatre éléments distincts (21) triés en les inversant par paire longitudinalement et transversalement,

    en ce que pour obtenir des surfaces de contact (10) définies sur les surfaces extérieures (6, 7, 8), les zones (13, 14) du rondin situées entre les surfaces de contact (10) sont aplanies soit avant, soit après le séchage consécutif des segments extérieurs (5) dégrossis du tronc,
    et en ce que les surfaces de contact (10) et les surfaces extérieures ultérieures (16) de la poutre creuse en bois sont ajustées à leurs dimensions finales à l'état sec.
  2. Procédé suivant la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que l'étendue des surfaces de contact (10) est réduite en prévoyant un décrochement (30) à partir des surfaces (13, 14).
  3. Procédé suivant la revendication 1 ou 2 caractérisé en ce qu'on pratique, de préférence de façon excentrée, une ou plusieurs fentes (12) de relaxation de contraintes dans les matériaux bruts humides (5), à savoir dans les faces opposées aux surfaces correspondant au coeur.
  4. Procédé suivant l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3 caractérisé en ce que, lors de l'ajustement aux dimensions finales (19) après le séchage, les séparations souhaitées (18) des segments extérieurs (5) du tronc sont pratiquées au milieu ou à l'écart du milieu.
