Definitions
- the present invention relates to a push button switch with at least one pivotably mounted contact rocker, according to the preamble of claim 1. From DE-A-3 151 501 a push button switch of this type has become known.
- the contact rocker and the rocker bearings consist of metal, flat stamped parts, the contact rocker additionally being provided with contact elements. This large number of different parts stands in the way of fully automatic production of the pushbutton switches.
- the object underlying the present invention was to design and arrange the moving parts such as plunger, contact rocker, contact carrier and toggle spring as well as the parts serving for the storage thereof in such a way that, according to international regulations, these parts have at least a 3 mm air gap between live parts that are open Contacts are separated, have and can be produced economically, in particular fully automatically.
- a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the contact axis consists of drawn wire made of silver.
- the bore is positioned at a distance from the pivot axis such that there is at least 3 mm of air clearance between the contact axis and the contact points not in contact with it.
- a pawl spring is preferably used as the plunger.
- the design of the electrical push button switch according to the invention reduces the manufacturing effort of the moving parts of the switch;
- the contact rocker made of plastic and the contact axis can be economically manufactured in large quantities.
- Another important advantage is the rotatability of the contact axis. This prevents rapid wear of the contacting parts of the contact axis with the contact points due to sparking and mechanical friction compared to known solutions, which results in an extended service life of the electrical pushbutton switch.
- the reduced wear also reduces sparking due to an irregular surface structure in the contact area, which leads to better switching characteristics.
- the very compact design according to the invention makes it considerably easier to maintain the prescribed air gaps between live parts.
- a push button 2 In a housing part 1 made of insulating material, a push button 2 is guided axially displaceably. The push button 2 can be moved against the action of a compression spring 3 downwards.
- a plunger 4 designed as a pawl spring is movably fastened on the inside in a recess in such a way that after a lateral deflection it returns to the starting position according to FIG. 1 in a resilient manner.
- the contact rocker 5 Under the pawl spring 4, the contact rocker 5 is mounted by means of the rocker support axis 5 'tiltable in a corresponding storage in the housing part 1.
- the contact axis 8 held in the bore 7 of the contact rocker 5 is connected to two contact points 9 and 10 (contact point 10 in FIG. 1 covered by the contact rocker 5).
- the electrical connection is ensured by touching the contact axis 8 with the contact points 9 and 10 under the action of the spring force of the rocker spring 6. In the second tilt position, the two contact points 11 and 12 are now separated from one another.
- the smallest distance between the current-carrying contacts 9, 10 and the contact axis 8 to the contact points 11 and 12 is the distance between the contact points 9 and 11, respectively.
- 10 and 12 since the contact axis 8, as can be seen in FIG. 1, is approximately the same distance from it. This distance is determined by the full tilt angle of the contact rocker and the Distance of the bore 7 from the rocker support axis 5 '. This distance can now be easily adjusted to the minimum required 3 mm by this arrangement according to the invention.
- the pawl spring 4 which first moves in the pressure direction, on the upper edge of the contact rocker 5, which is only slightly rounded in the vicinity of the rocker support axis 5 ', and bends in the direction of the tilt position.
- the upper edge of the contact rocker 5 has an edge 13 towards the pawl spring 4, respectively. 13 ′ on.
- the now curved pawl spring 4 transfers the pressure movement to this edge 13, which generates a torque counter to the tilt position of the contact rocker 5 held by the tilt spring 6 and causes it to tilt into the second tilt position.
- the two contact points 9 and 10 are thus electrically separated from one another and the contact points 11 and 12 are connected in an electrically conductive manner via the contact axis 8.
- the fact that the contact axis 8 is preferably held with play in the bore 7 of the contact rocker 5, it can when touching the contact points 9, 10 respectively. Rotate 11, 12 around the longitudinal axis because this touching movement is a sliding contact from the tilting movement. The rotation is then caused by the friction.
- the contact axis 8 is guided when the contact rocker 5 moves into a tilted position over this edge 9 ', 11', which leads to reinforcement the rotational movement of the contact axis 8 about its longitudinal axis, as can be seen in FIG. 2.
- the contact does not occur in each tilt position with the same point on the contact axis 8, with which the wear is distributed over the entire circumference of the contact axis at the contact point due to the contact formation, which, compared to contact points that always touch each other in the same place, leads to considerably longer service life for the contacts.

Description
- Fig. 1 den Querschnitt durch einen Schalter im Bereich der Kontaktwippe;
- Fig. 2 ein Detailschnitt des Kontaktbereiches von Fig. 1.
