Abstract

For separate waste disposal of the inside layer (9), consisting of an aluminium foil, of a packaging container produced by the winding method, the overlapping foil edges (16, 17) are glued together only at a distance from an outside edge (18) of the foil. The non-glued overlapping foil edge (21) allows the inside layer (9) to be peeled off from the cardboard body after the bottom membrane of the packaging container has been removed. The peeling-off movement begins when the bottom membrane is removed due to the fact that its edge is glued to the non-glued overlapping foil edge. A gripping tab is provided on the bottom membrane for removal of the latter. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a packaging container with a container body which is closed at one end by a bottom membrane and at the other end by a sealing membrane, the container body having an inner layer made of a material which is different from that of its outer layer and which is similar to the material of the bottom membrane and this inner layer extends helically with overlapping edges on the container body.

A container of this type is known, for example, from CH-A-666 458 (US-A-4,632,298). Its hull is manufactured using the winding process by helically winding strip material for the layers onto a mandrel to form a tube, as described, for example, in GB-B-947,454.

Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt erfindungsgemäss aufgrund der kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention has for its object to find a packaging container of the type mentioned, the inner layer consisting of a different type of material, for example aluminum, can be easily removed for a waste disposal separate from the outer layer of the container body. This object is achieved according to the invention on the basis of the characterizing features of patent claim 1.

The packaging container has, for example in accordance with the exemplary embodiments shown, a circular cylindrical container body 2 which has been produced by cutting from a wound tubular body. A bottom membrane 3 closes one end 4 and a lid membrane 5 closes its other end 6. Both membranes 3, 5 are produced by deep drawing from an aluminum foil with a cylindrical edge 7, 8, which is heat-sealed to the inner layer 9 of the container body 2 . The membrane bottom 3 is covered by a cardboard disc 10, e.g. of corrugated cardboard, protected, which is enclosed on its circumference by the cylindrical edge 7 of the bottom membrane 3 and is held there by the slightly inwardly pressed edge bead 12 of the container body 2. The cover membrane 5 is protected by a cup cover 13 which, after the cover membrane 5 has been removed, can serve to reclose the packaging container along a nominal separation line (not shown). This target dividing line can e.g. be formed by the linear sealing connection of the membrane edge 8 with the inner layer 9 of the container body 2. The outside of the cardboard body 2 is encased by a label 19 which serves as an ornament and label carrier.

The inner layer 9 of the container body 2 made of aluminum with a carrier layer 11 made of paper, like its outer layer 14 made of much thicker tape-shaped cardboard material, was wound helically from a foil tape in such a way that the adjoining tape edges extending along the helical line 15 extend as overlapping edges 16, 17 ; 16 ', 17'; 16 '', 17 '' overlap each other in accordance with the representations of FIGS. 3 to 5. These overlap edges are to form a gas-tight Inner layer 9 glued together. According to the invention, however, the gluing is only provided along a narrow gluing strip 20, 20 ', 20''set back from the edge 18, 18', 18 '' of the film strip, so that an outer edge region 21, 21 ', 21'' of the edge overlapping on the inside of the container lies without connection to the underlying surface. This has the consequence that when the bottom membrane 3 connected to the inner layer 9 of the container body 2 is torn out, this edge region 21, 21 ', 21''of the bottom membrane 3 follows first and then destroys the gluing 20, 20', 20 '' by a pellet movement is so that the entire inner layer 9 can be easily pulled out of the container body 2 in the form of its film strip.

First, the pointed membrane portion 30 of the inner layer 9, unsealed or unsealed on the container body 2, loosens with the bottom membrane 3 and then the peeling movement continues over the advancing peeling line 32 and sets the inner cardboard surface 31 of the container body 2 becomes increasingly free until the film piece of the inner layer 9 with the shape shown in FIG. 2 is completely removed in order to be fed to the aluminum waste.

In order to reliably prevent the inner layer 9 from tearing out when the film strip is torn out and consequently tearing off, so that part of the inner layer remains on the container body, the edge region 21, 21 ′, 21 ″ of the film layer of the inner layer 9 is in accordance with the embodiments of FIGS Fig. 3 to 5 reinforced. According to FIG. 3, the edge region 21 is folded inwards towards the edge 17 underneath.

According to FIG. 4, an additional tear tape 23 was inserted during the winding between the overlapping edges 16 ', 17' and thereby with the inside of the edge area 16 ' glued. This tear tape 23 extends through its helical course to the bottom membrane 3, and its end is glued to it, so that it initiates the detachment of the inner layer 9. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5, the edge region 21 ″ of the film strip of the inner layer is enclosed by a reinforcing strip 24. It is not necessary to tear out the inner layer with the base membrane 3, since the pointed tip region 30 of the inner layer 9, which is pulled up when the base membrane 3 is detached, can be torn out further by hand. The tearing out of the inner layer 9 can, however, also be made clear by coloring the tear tape 23, the reinforcing tape 24 or the unconnected overlap edge 21 of the inner layer 9 or by the labels provided there.

The bottom membrane 3 is torn out by pulling on a grip tab 25, 26 which, according to FIGS. 1 and 8, is integrally formed on the membrane part spanning the container cross section and on the outside according to FIGS. 9, 10 on the edge of the membrane. When pulling out the bottom membrane 3 by pulling on the grip tab 25 or 26, the cardboard disc 10 is also pulled out. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 8, the grip tab 25 is also provided in the cardboard disc 10 in the same place, so that both overlap.
