Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ski binding for a cross-country or touring ski with a holding shell, which is pivoted about a ski-fixed, horizontal transverse axis, both together with a swivel part designed as a two-armed angle lever, and also for the purpose of transition between the closed and open positions first lever arm of the pivoting part carries at least one locking pin, wherein in the closed position of the binding, which is fixed by a resilient bolt, the locking pin of the pivoting part engages in a release of the holding shell and the holding shell engages over a front sole extension of a ski boot, while the locking pin also has an opening interspersed in the sole extension from below, whereas in the open position of the binding the locking pin is removed from the inside of the holding shell, the joint pivoting of the holding shell and pivoting part being fixed to a ski-fixed bearing block
