Definitions
- the invention relates to a doctor blade holder according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a squeegee holder is known from German Offenlegungsschrift 28 22 682.
- projections are provided on the squeegee band in the region of the edge remote from the coating edge, with which the squeegee band is held in a groove in the squeegee guide.
- these projections can also be rivets for those with the usual round head design.
- hook-shaped flanges which can also be provided at partially punched out locations, are used as holding elements. Due to this design of the doctor tape, however, winding up the doctor tape is only possible with great difficulty, if at all, without problems. The production of the doctor blade tape is e.g. with the rivet heads very expensive and cumbersome.
- the object of the invention is to provide a squeegee holder for a squeegee tape, which enables easy manufacture and winding of the squeegee tape and also enables the squeegee tape to be fed in a simple and low-wear manner.
- the doctor blade strip runs within a channel 4 of a guideway 2 of the same, which is formed by a doctor bar 1.
- the squeegee belt 3 is generally pressed by a pressure element 12 consisting of several parts and extending along the squeegee belt 3 against the fabric web or the counter-roller guiding it.
- the guideway has a narrow slot 5, through which the doctor strip 3 extends out of the channel 4. This slot preferably has an excess in relation to the thickness of the doctor strip of approximately 0 to 0.3 mm.
- the doctor blade is at the end of the guide track 2 by a deflecting roller 15 deflected and wound up by means of a drum 25, which is provided on a projection 24 of the doctor bar. According to FIG.
- an endless conveyor chain 6 runs inside the channel 4, which has guide elements 7 on its upper side at the location of connecting lugs 9 of the chain, each with a gripping end of the doctor blade 7 ', which in recesses 8a, 8b, 8c (see FIG 6a to 6c) intervene.
- the gripping end 7 ' is inclined against the hinge side surface between 90 ° and 45 °.
- a groove 13 in the guideway 2 allows a free feed movement of the guide elements.
- a variant is shown in which the chain is omitted and instead of the same spherical guide elements 19c are provided.
- These balls can consist, for example, of plastic with high wear resistance and with a good coefficient of friction, such as Teflon.
- a pressure device which consists of hydraulically actuated piston 31 with piston rod 32, springs 33 and 34 and pressure piece 35, preferably every 10 up to 15 cm the same.
- sufficient recesses are provided, for example in the case of perforation of a photographic film in the doctor blade band 3 (see FIG. 6).
- the spring 34 is designed with a relatively high spring constant and the spring 34 with a relatively low spring constant. Hydraulic hydraulic fluid is supplied through channels 43 and 44, respectively.
- the doctor blade After leaving the guideway 2, the doctor blade is deflected by the deflecting roller 15, which has a circumferential groove 16 on the circumference in the area where the recesses of the doctor blade are present, in which balls pressed out of the doctor blade are caught.
- the balls are preferably blown out of the squeegee strip by compressed air by means of a compressed air nozzle 17, to which this is fed through a hose 18.
- a guide plate 41 prevents the balls from being blown out to the wrong side.
- the balls are then collected by a funnel 26, which feeds them to a collecting container 27.
- the deflection roller 15 is mounted on a shaft 23 by means of a bearing 22.
- the drum 25 has a drive, not shown here, preferably in the form of an electric motor, which is reversible. If such guide rollers 2 and winding drums 25 are provided on both sides of the guide track 2 or of the doctor bar 1 - the latter each with its own drive - the doctor blade belt can be transported back and forth through the guide track.
- the length of the squeegee tape can be very large and a total length of about 200 m is now available from the corresponding manufacturers.
- a drive for the chain 6 can be provided, of which only one run runs into the channel 4 of the guideway 2.
- the other run runs outside the doctor bar or guideway 2 and can be driven by means of a motor and pinion.
- a constant feed rate of the doctor blade strip 3 can thereby be produced.
- guide elements 19a and 19b show further forms of guide elements 19a and 19b.
- these guide elements have a circular cross section and, in the case of FIG. 19a, are a simple small cylinder which is rounded at the ends in the case of FIG. 7b. Due to the rounding, it can slide better in a guidance emergency which is adapted to its outline according to FIG. 3.
- These guide elements should also be in recesses - e.g. 6c - be insertable.
- the guideway must be somewhat wider than the maximum width of the paper web or the length of the counter-roller guiding it, so that the shaft 45 can be provided for feeding the guide elements (balls).
- FIG. 7a and 7b show further embodiments 19a, 19b of guide elements which, as indicated, have a substantially circular cross section.
- 19a it is a simple cylinder
- Fig. 7b this cylinder is rounded at the ends. With these roundings he can - according to Fig. 3 - his outline slide the appropriately designed guide groove better.
- the diameter of the balls or the cross section of the guide elements should be between 10 and 16 mm.
- the balls 19c can also be inserted into elongated recesses according to Fig. 6b, if they are dimensioned so that the balls are easily clamped in the recesses, i.e. the width (height) of the recesses must be slightly smaller than the diameter of the balls. If the balls are made of plastic, they are easy to clamp. In this way you have a pretty precise guidance of the squeegee tape 3. You should then replace the balls with new ones every week.
- FIG. 8 shows an arrangement in which the guide elements consist of gear wheels 47 which engage in the cutouts 8a of the doctor blade strip 3. These can also be pinions or sprockets.
- the doctor blade tape is wound onto a drum 25 (not shown here) driven by a motor, as shown in FIG.
- the teeth 48 serve to guide the doctor blade in the direction of its plane, which is formed, for example, by one of its side surfaces.
- the link plates 9 'each have a lateral projection 7' 'with which they engage in the cutouts 8a, 8b of the doctor blade.
- the guide elements press on the edge of the recesses of the doctor blade strip that is distant from the coating edge.
- Fig. 9 shows an overall perspective arrangement with a rubberized counter roll 11 leading the web 13 with roll core 14 made of steel in an embodiment with loose guide elements, for. B. the balls of FIG. 5, here the nozzle, the ball feed and the sump for the balls are omitted.
- the deflection roller 15 is held by arms 38 of the squeegee 1, so that there is enough space for the ball feed and the collecting trough.
- the drive motor 35 with gear 36 drives the winding drum 25 by means of an articulated rod 40 via a worm gear 20.
- the doctor bar 1 can be set against the counter roller via a sliding guide 29 according to the double arrow w; however, it can also be pivoted in the direction of the double arrow v in relation to the counter roller by mounting on pins 30 in bearings 28 by means of a push rod 39. These adjustment options can also be achieved using swivel levers.
- the design shown here was also suitable if one had a chain as a guide link according to FIG. 1 and the strand removed from the doctor blade band had to be guided along the outside of the doctor blade beam.
- FIG. 11 shows a further arrangement according to the invention, in which the guide elements are balls which are forcibly guided, specifically in the guideway 2 'and additional outer guideways 52 attached to one or both sides of the guideway the balls are pushed out of the squeegee strip 3.
- a lifting element 53 is provided which has a small piston 55 and a piston of larger diameter 54 and two springs 56 and 57 loading these pistons.
- a hollow drum 62 is provided, the jacket of which is held by means of spokes 67 on a hub 65 which is supported on a shaft or axis 68.
- the drum has a central cam gear 66 which rotates synchronously with the drum by being in contact with the drum, e.g.
- the drum preferably has projections 83 on its jacket which engage in the cutouts, for example 8a, of the doctor blade strip.
- the drum 62 runs synchronously with the squeegee belt 3.
- the distance between the cams 81 of the cam wheel 66 is also corresponding.
- These cams actuate the contact 70 of a switch 69, as a result of which a pulse 72 is given to a controller 72 via a circuit fed by a voltage source 75 .
- This pulse then serves via line 85 to actuate the solenoid valve 61.
- This is connected to a connection 58 of the lifting device 53 and acts on the piston 55 with pressure medium.
- the plunger 63 is actuated, which then pushes the ball out of the respective recess of the doctor blade at the right time.
- a timer 73 which, after a certain time, e.g. B. 8 or 10 seconds, the large piston 54 via line 86 with hydraulic fluid, so that the plunger is withdrawn in time is before the recess in question has migrated too far, before the plunger has been retracted into the starting position and the plunger or squeegee band could thus be damaged.
- the additional, lateral guideway 52 is preferably open at the top and bottom in the region of the end of the guideway 2 '(as shown), so that the balls and the squeegee band can be cleaned, for example by means of spray nozzles and cleaning liquid. The latter can easily be collected in a container at the bottom.
- the signal from the cams 68 of the cam track 66 can also be used to trigger a trigger circuit which generates the signal from the control device 72.
- This trigger circuit should e.g. contain on a working on an electromagnetic, inductive basis or on the vortex principle sensor that detects exactly the position of the recesses 8a, etc. of the doctor blade 3 and thus the exact position of a ball.
- the plunger 63 could be actuated at exactly the right time, namely when a ball lies exactly in the center of it.
- the sensor could, for example, detect the exact position of a cutout that comes earlier or follows after two, three or more cutouts, which has no ball.
- the balls could also be metallic, for example made of steel.
- the pulses emitted by the sensor can only be used for triggering when the recess lies essentially exactly in the center of the sensor. The exact time for triggering and actuating the plunger would then have been recorded.
- the return arrangement shown in FIG. 12 for the guide elements of the doctor blade belt 3 indicated as balls has two additional guide tracks 92 and 95 for the balls, the latter of which serves for the return track for the balls.
- both tracks could also be seen as one, which consists of two parts. In this case, however, they are also structurally separate. A connection would essentially only be possible or sensible on the left side of the doctor strip 3 in the drawing.
- the guideway 92 can preferably be open at the top and bottom in order - as already described - to possibly clean the guide balls and, in this case, the squeegee band by means of jet nozzles. This would also help to reduce the risk of contamination of the guideways.
- a toothed wheel 90 with essentially rounded recesses 93 between teeth 91 which serve to receive the balls. Most of the balls are pushed out of the doctor blade by the right part of the additional guideway 92.
- a gear 97 with teeth 96 is also provided on the right-hand side of the doctor strip 3, which mesh synchronously into the recesses 8a, 8b and 8c of the doctor strip and press the balls completely out of these recesses. Under certain circumstances, this additional gear can also be omitted.
- the balls After the balls have been pressed out of the squeegee band by the teeth 96 of the gear 97, they are completely removed from the squeegee band 3 by the beginning of the guideway 95 and then carried along by the gear 90. From this gearwheel they are lifted off by the right part of the closed part 98 of the return path 95. Here the beginning part of the return path 95 has been left open at the top, but it could also be made closed at the top. The depth of the interstices 93 between the teeth 91 is so small that the balls absorb only about one third or at most two fifths of their diameter, so that they can be lifted out of them again more easily.
- the squeegee tape 3 is then discharged through a drum 99 with projections 100 which engage in the recesses in the squeegee tape.
- the drum 99 and the gears 90 and 96 are driven in synchronous rotation, e.g. the drum 99 is driven by the doctor blade belt 3 via the projections 100 and a coupling of the gear wheels 90 and 96 to the drum 99 is provided via additional toothed wheels.
- a toothed belt could of course also be provided.
- the gears can preferably be made of plastic.
- a step of the return path 95 at 101 can prevent a ball from running back into an unoccupied tooth gap.
- the gear 90 can be made relatively thin are so that at the beginning of the closed return path 98 a nose-shaped projection 89 can be arranged directly below the gearwheel, which pushes the balls out of the tooth spaces 93 somewhat beforehand so that the teeth can convey the balls into the return path as smoothly as possible.
- a similar nose-shaped projection can also be provided directly above the gear.
- the part of the return path 95 which is shown here open can also be produced from a very low-friction plastic, such as Teflon, at least in the area of the balls.
- These web guide parts could then also be screwed onto a metal support, which e.g. also serves to hold the gear 90 or other gears.
- the device shown is provided on both sides of the guideway 2, it can also be used to replenish the squeegee tape with the same direction of reverse feed.
- a nose 102 at the beginning or end of the guideway part 103 could then prevent the balls from inadvertently leaving their recess in the squeegee tape.
