Claims (3)

  1. Silencieux d'échappement, notamment pour moteurs à combustion interne à deux temps, complété d'un catalyseur en aval, composé d'un boîtier (1) muni d'une entrée et d'une sortie (2, 3), subdivisé en plusieurs chambres (I, II, III) par des cloisons (4) munies de tubes de liaison (5), et parcouru par le courant avec deux changements de direction, la sortie (3) étant formée d'un tube intérieur (6) perforé, entouré d'un tube extérieur (7) à un certain écartement, et le boîtier (1) présentant une double paroi avec couche intercalaire (10) résistante à la chaleur,
    caractérisé par le fait qu'au résonateur à trous formé du tube intérieur perforé (6) et du tube extérieur (7), fait suite à un résonateur à sifflet, que la paroi intérieure (9) de la paroi du boîtier est ondulée et que la couche intercalaire (10) qui amortit les bruits transmis par condcution dans les solides réunit la paroi intérieure (9) à la paroi extérieure par une liaison bloquée .
  2. Silencieux d'échappement selon la revendications 1,
    caractérisé par le fait que, dans la chambre (1) dans laquelle l'entrée (2) débouche, est prévu un bouclier thermique (11) de forme cylindrique, fixé de préférence à la cloison (4) qui le suit et qui forme écran pour protéger la double paroi (9, 10) du boîtier (1).
  3. Silencieux d'échappement selon la revendication 1 ou 2,
    caractérisé par le fait qu'une paroi protectrice (13) est placée en amont de la paroi frontale (12) côté sortie du boîtier, avec interposition d'un espace intercalaire dans lequel les gaz d'échappement ne pénètrent pas.
