Definitions

  • the invention relates to an espagnolette lock according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • espagnolette lock is known from DE 83 03 077.8 U1.
  • Espagnolette locks of the aforementioned type are used in particular for box bodies of trucks or containers in order to be able to lock the doors positively and positively against the frame of the container.
  • This last-mentioned bearing arrangement of the hand lever in the pulled-up position is realized in the aforementioned known espagnolette lock via a pivot axis provided in the bearing and an elongated hole in the hand lever.
  • An essential core idea of the invention can be seen in designing the interaction of the hand lever with the bearing attached to the rotating rod in such a way that a longitudinal displacement is possible via a bolt-slot connection of the hand lever in the bearing.
  • This longitudinal displacement is structurally linked to a locking bolt, the fastening areas or flanges of which come to lie in the longitudinal direction of the lever and are completely covered by the lever in the closed position.
  • This locking bar has a nose oriented to the rotating rod. An opposite orientation of the nose of the locking bar is also possible. In the following, however, the embodiment of the nose, as shown in FIG. 2, will be discussed.
  • the nose of this locking bar When locking the container, the nose of this locking bar is guided through a recess provided in the locking area of the hand lever and then the hand lever is moved slightly away from the rotating rod in the direction of its elongated hole. As a result, the nose of the locking bar overlaps or engages behind a surface of the hand lever, so that a rotary movement to open the rotary rod is blocked. At the same time, a securing device attached to the lever is pivoted in against the locking bolt in this position, which also prevents longitudinal movement of the hand lever.
  • the pivoted-in securing device is expediently opened with the locking latch, e.g. secured with a padlock.
  • the locking latch itself with its main body is also provided with openings, e.g. a rectangular contour, which are aligned with the openings of the cheeks in the closed state. In this way it is possible to pass a customs sleeve through the cheeks of the hand lever and the locking bar.
  • the invention offers a customs-safe espagnolette lock while maintaining security and simple handling.
  • the handling in the case of customs and traffic safe locking and unlocking of the espagnolette lock is improved while at the same time further increasing the securing of the hand lever against longitudinal displacement by an additional device on the hand lever.
  • This device has two pivotable, longitudinally connected lever arms which are aligned parallel to the hand lever in the locking position and act in a cam-like manner on the longitudinal displacement of the hand lever via two articulation points.
  • the first lever arm is shaped, for example as a tab, and is pivotally attached to the bearing so as to lie flat.
  • the second articulation point is a bearing axis in the hand lever, which is advantageously located in the area between the bearing and locking area and on which the second lever arm is fixed in such a way that it covers the entire locking area of the hand lever in the locking position.
  • the pivot pin connecting the two lever arms is arranged between the first and second articulation point, so that movement of the second lever arm is transmitted to the hand lever via the second articulation point as well as via the connecting pin, the first lever arm and the bearing pin in the slot guide to the hand lever.
  • the locking and unlocking of the hand lever by reaching behind or releasing the nose of the locking bar through a surface of the locking area of the hand lever is improved in a simple and reliable manner by the additional locking and unlocking device. This enables the vertical movement of the hand lever to act as a pull-open aid for the door parallel to the rotating rod.
  • the additional device also offers further possibilities for increasing the traffic and customs security of the espagnolette lock.
  • the additional device so that it can be locked on the hand lever, for example by attaching a plug lock to the free end of the second lever arm and congruently in the corresponding area of the hand lever.
  • the second lever arm is particularly useful to design the second lever arm as an angled flat iron, so that in the locking position an upper surface almost completely covers the locking area of the hand lever and the locking bolt.
  • the entire locking unit, locking tape and customs seal would be secured against manipulation and unauthorized opening.
  • the cover of the locking area by the angled second lever arm also means protection against dirt.
  • an electronic fuse is additionally present in the locking area of the hand lever and the locking bolt, which triggers an alarm signal as a light or acoustic signal when the attempt is made is undertaken to unauthorized actuation of the locking cover caused by the additional device.
  • FIG. 1 shows a espagnolette lock 1, which essentially has the vertical pivot rod 2, to which, for example, a welded-on bearing 3 is provided which protrudes approximately vertically.
  • a hand lever 5 on the espagnolette which can be bent, for example, from a flat iron.
  • This hand lever 5 has a bearing area 9 in the area of the rotary rod 2, a locking area 8 in the middle part and the actual handle area 7 in the left area.
  • the closure region has two cheeks 15 which project approximately vertically and which are provided with a vertical opening 31 (FIG. 3). Furthermore, in the left area of the closure area, e.g. by means of a rivet bolt 23, a fuse 14 rotatably attached to the rivet bolt.
  • the locking bar 10 is also shown in perspective.
  • the locking bolt 10 essentially has a main body which projects with a nose 11 in the direction of the rotary rod 2 from a plate with fastening areas 36 formed in the longitudinal direction of the hand lever 5. These fastening areas 36 are fixed, for example, with countersunk screws against the corresponding door of the container.
  • an opening 30 is provided in the main body perpendicularly, that is to say approximately parallel to the rotating rod 2, which penetrates downward through the hollow main body.
  • a further opening 28 is present in the surface 39 coming to rest against the fuse 14.
  • the hand lever 5 is just in the rotational position, so that a rigid connection is made via the bearing 3 with the rotating rod 2 in the direction of the arrow. In this position, the hand lever 5 is pushed forward along the elongated hole 6 against the rotating rod, a bolt 16, which is fixed in the U-shaped bearing part 3, causing the longitudinal displacement of the handle 5.
  • the shape of the hand lever 5 is particularly clear.
  • bearing area 9 and handle area 7 of the hand lever are aligned with one another, while the locking area 8 has a cranked or curved contact surface in the direction of the container door and the plate of the locking bolt 10.
  • the bending shape provided approximately as an elongated "S" between the locking and grip areas thus allows good gripping and gripping of the grip area 7 at all times, while the locking area lies flush against the plate of the locking bar 10. Due to this support, which ensures that the fastening areas 36 are covered, the locking bolt cannot be manipulated in the locked position by unauthorized persons.
  • the hand lever 5 has a rectangular recess 12 between the cheeks 15 (FIG. 4). Furthermore, a securing device 14 (FIG. 9) is pivotably attached to the hand lever, preferably via a rivet bolt 23, through an opening 25 with the hand lever. This securing device 14 is rotated upward in FIG. 3 (open position) from the closed position (FIG. 1) until its upper surface edge reaches the grip area 7 in the system against the offset.
  • the hand lever can be brought into a position after opening, as shown in FIG. 3, which is shown schematically in FIG. 6.
  • the end of the hand lever 5 on the espagnolette side is designed as a tapered engagement end 21, this approximately trapezoidal taper starting at the end of the elongated hole 6. Because of the bearing 3 which is open at the bottom, it is therefore possible to pivot the hand lever 5 downward in the position shown in FIG. 3, that is to say to align it parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rotary rod 2. In this case, the tapered engagement end 21 reaches the opening of the recess 34 when the hand lever 5 is moved slightly upward.
  • the U-shaped bearing and the engagement of the engagement end 21 with the recess 34 result in a positive open position, which allows the container door to be opened in a fixed, secure manner facilitated.
  • the bearing 3 has a substantially U-shape, the distance between the legs corresponds approximately to the thickness of the flat iron of the hand lever and the height of the bearing 3 is essentially adapted to the width of the hand lever.
  • the fuse 14 according to FIG. 9 is dimensioned in its distance from the hole axis to the surface 38 so that after inserting this fuse 14, as shown in FIG. 1, a longitudinal displacement of the hand lever 5 is impossible.
  • the inserted fuse 14 is opened via the opening 27, e.g. locked with a padlock 29, relative to the locking bolt 10.
  • FIG. 10 shows a second embodiment of the espagnolette lock 1 according to the invention, in which the longitudinal displacement of the hand lever 5 is improved with the aid of an additional locking and unlocking device 40 while increasing customs security.
  • This additional device 40 has two lever arms 41, 42 which are connected in the longitudinal direction to a connecting bolt 46 and which extend in the locking position parallel to the hand lever 5.
  • the second hand lever 42 covering the locking area 8 of the hand lever 5, extends with its free end to the grip area 7 of the hand lever 5, where it lies flat in a cranked part of the hand lever 5.
  • the second lever arm is made of a flat iron bent at right angles, so that an upper cover surface 52 covers the cheeks 15 of the hand lever 5 and the fastening areas 36 of the locking bar 10 from above (see FIGS. 11 and 12).
  • the locking position of the hand lever 5 in the locking bolt 10 is secured with a customs seal 32.
  • the locking and unlocking device 40 is connected to the hand lever 5 by means of a plug lock 55. This lockability is preferable to a padlock, because it enables increased security and easier handling.
  • the additional device 40 has two articulation points between which the connecting bolt 46 of both lever arms 41, 42 is arranged (see FIGS. 10, 11 and 13).
  • the first pivot point is the pivot axis 4 of the bearing 3, on which the end of the first lever arm 41 on the pivot rod side is pivotally mounted and at the same time the hand lever 5 via the elongated hole 6.
  • a bolt 44 is arranged in the hand lever 5 in the part between the bearing area 3 and the locking area 8, on which the second lever arm 42 is pivotably attached.
  • This eccentric-like design of the additional device 40 and its arrangement on the bearing 3 or on the hand lever 5 enables easier locking or unlocking, since when the second lever arm 42 is pivoted up, the surfaces 11 of the locking region 8 of the hand lever 5 engaging behind the nose 11 of the locking bolt 10 Rotary rod 2 are moved so that the hand lever 5 can then be freely removed from the locking bolt 10, pivoted downwards and used to open the door of a container or box body.
  • the espagnolette lock 1 therefore represents in a simple manner a non-manipulable, customs-secure lock for box bodies or containers.
