Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electrically controllable door lock with a conventional mortise lock which, in addition to a lock cylinder and the bolt actuated thereby, has a latch which can be retracted via a change and which on the outside of the door carries a fitting which conceals the lock nut and in which an electromagnetic lock coupling is accommodated which Connects the lock nut with a handle when applying an opening impulse so that the latch can be pulled back over the handle.
  • An electrically controlled lock is described in the patent DE 36 43 388. It deals with a mortise lock with a main lock operated by a safety lock and an alternate latch or latch, the movement of the lock nut and latch being controlled by a solenoid that can be queried.
  • the electromagnet and the control mechanism are integrated in the housing of the mortise lock. All other components such as control, keyboard and power supply must be housed outside.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a controllable door lock that can be retrofitted without removing the existing mortise lock and is characterized by a particularly small and energy-saving electromagnet.
  • the fitting 1 is designated, which is designed as a flat trough and preferably consists of light metal casting.
  • a keyboard 2 which has pushbuttons for the digits 0 - 9, the switch "ON” and the programming switch “P”, is inserted into a recess 1a from the rear.
  • a light emitting diode 3 indicates the readiness for opening by blinking light.
  • the input contacts and the end of the readiness to open are signaled acoustically.
  • a recess 1b is provided below the keyboard 2 for receiving the locking cylinder.
  • a handle 4 which engages with a square in the lock coupling.
  • Fig. 2 on the back of the fitting 1 the lock coupling 5 can be seen, which is fastened with four screws 6.
  • the clutch is actuated via the square 4a of the handle 4.
  • the keyboard 2 is arranged at the top right, above on the left is the control unit 7. Between them is a microswitch 8. 9 denotes a battery pack that can consist of four mono cells or a lithium battery.
  • the recess 1b for the locking cylinder is arranged.
  • the reinforced edge 1c protects the control from manipulating interventions.
  • the entire fitting 1 is fastened with screws from the inside of the door. Threaded blind holes 10 - 15 that cannot be located from the outside are used for this.
  • a square 16 penetrates into the nut 39 of the door lock so that the torque required for opening can be transmitted from the handle 4 to the lock latch.
  • the latch can be unlocked from the inside at any time, while only authorized persons who know the combination can access it from the outside. Regardless of this, the owner of the security key can actuate the trap via the change or, for example, actuate the main bolt outside of office hours, i.e. limit the time of access authorization.
  • Fig. 3 the electromagnetic lock coupling 5 is shown in plan view.
  • the base plate 5a and the cover plate 5b can be seen, which are connected to one another by screws 17, 18 and hidden spacer bolts.
  • An electromagnet 19 and a tour pin 20 are visible in recesses in the ceiling.
  • a slide switch is designated by 21.
  • FIGS. 9 and 10 show an intermediate ceiling 22 above the base plate 5a, a control slide 23 above it and a locking lever 24 with the control lever 25 thereon.
  • the locking lever 24 carries the armature 26.
  • a slide switch 27 is guided with elongated holes in the stud bolts 37, 38. It is operated by a pin 27.
  • the control slide 23 is riveted to a tour pin 20 which projects into the mouth of the control lever 25.
  • the structure and function of the electromagnetic blocking device consisting of parts 19, 20 and 23-26 are known from EP 0228027 B1, in particular FIGS. 9 and 10.
  • FIG. 5 shows the base plate 5a, the intermediate ceiling 22 lying thereon and the control slide 23 mounted thereon with the tour pin 20.
  • the control slide 23 is driven via a transverse elongated hole 23a by a control mandrel 28 which extends through a cutout 22a in the intermediate ceiling 22.
  • FIG. 6 shows the base plate 5a with three rotatably mounted clutch disks.
  • the control disk 29, which carries the control mandrel 28, is arranged on the right. It is moved by the center disk 30, which is pulled by a tension spring 31 with its nose 30a against a cam 29a of the control disk 29.
  • a drive pulley is designated, which is connected via a square 16 to the spring-loaded nut 39 of the mortise lock. All three disks can only be rotated to a limited extent by recesses and stops 33, 34, 35 fastened on the base plate 5a. In the idle state shown, idling between the center disk 30 and the drive disk 32 is visible.
  • control slide 23 If the control disk 29 is now rotated via the handle 4 to query the locked state, the control slide 23 first moves with the tour pin 20 in the mouth of the control lever 25. At the same time, a pin 36 on the control slide 23 presses the armature 26 up when the magnet 19 is de-energized. The tour pin 20 runs against the locking lug of the control lever 25.
  • the pin 36 also presses the control lever 25 up with the locking lever 24. This clears the way for the tour pin and the center disk 30 can take the drive disk with it. When the opening pulse is applied, the trap can thus be withdrawn via the handle 4.
  • the magnet does not have to do any lifting work, but that it only holds the attached armature, while the control lever and the locking lever are pivoted around the armature bearing as a fulcrum.
  • the lifting work to query the locked state is done by hand alone.
  • the control device does not require any wiring, so that only a few drill holes for the fastening screws have to be made for assembly.
  • the maintenance work for the new controllable lock is extremely low because operation with a lithium battery is guaranteed for 4-6 years.
  • the slide switch 21 actuates the microswitch 8, which activates the programming in the control unit 7. This ensures that a new PIN can only be entered when the control slide 23 is withdrawn and the lock is unlocked.
  • the lock coupling 5 is installed transversely.
  • the cylinder lock recess 1b, the handle 4 with the square 16 and the lock nut of the mortise lock indicated by broken lines form a triangle.
  • Fig. 7 shows the elongated fitting 40 from the outside.
  • the cylinder lock recess 1b is again arranged at the bottom. Above it is the invisible lock nut 39 and an oval handle 43 above it.
  • An integrated card reader 41 forms the upper end.
  • the door lock described is primarily intended for hotel room doors. However, if it is to be used in one or another embodiment on unattended external doors, it may be appropriate to move the electromagnetic lock coupling and the control electronics in the inner fitting so that only the keyboard or the card reader is arranged on the outside.
  • the fitting offers a sufficiently large open space to accommodate a display or illuminated signs with the usual information for hotel staff or visitors.
  • the electromagnetic lock coupling described can also be used as a locker in the bank area after appropriate adjustment.
  • the release impulse for a trap is preferably given by the security personnel, the bank tenant manually opening the trap and then withdrawing a main bolt with his security key, but the trap and the security lock are not coupled by a change.
