The percentage of the volume of gas enclosed in the cells can be between approximately 10 and 80%, and is preferably between 12 and 15%.   • the specific arrangement of the layers of the sleeve or blanket 2 according to this invention, and in particular the sandwich formed by the two layers 4 and 5, gives said sleeve an ideal behavior in the nip zone between two cylinders, with to know in particular an ideal compressibility and an almost total absence of shearing on the surface, that is to say of lateral displacement of the material of the sleeve, from where a perfect behavior of the rolls during rolling during the printing process.

Claims (7)

  1. Zylinder überzogen mit einem Drucktuch, das an dem Zylinder (1) gehalten wird, indem es diesen Zylinder in der Art einer Muffe vollständig und ohne Unterbrechung umgibt und das eine an der Aussenfläche (1a) des Zylinders (1) angehaftete Grundschicht (4) umfasst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die besagte ununterbrochene Grundschicht aus zelligem Gummi besteht, einen zwischen ungefähr 0,1 und 100 Megapascalen (MPa) liegenden Druckelastizitätsmodul besitzt und auf ihrer von der am Zylinder (1) angehafteten Fläche abgewandten Fläche anderen die Gewebestoffe auschliessenden und unterbrochenen Schichten (5,6) zugeordnet ist, welche wenigstens eine Schicht aus hartem Elastomer (5) umfassen, die mit Fasern verstärkt ist und die einer lithographischen oder Druckschicht (6) zugeordnet ist.
  2. Zylinder nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Grundschicht (4) aus zelligem Gummi eine zwischen ungefähr 0,1 und 8 mm liegende Dicke hat und mit der Aussenfläche (1a) des Zylinders (1) durch eine Klebstoffschicht (3) mit einer zwischen ungefähr 0,01 und 0,2 mm liegenden Dicke fest verbunden ist und die vorgenannte Schicht aus hartem Elastomer (5) eine zwischen ungefähr 0,05 und 0,5 mm liegende Dicke hat.
  3. Zylinder nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die vorgenannte Grundschicht (4) eine ungefähr 2,5 mm betragende Dicke hat und die vorgenannte Schicht aus hartem Elastomer (5) eine Dicke von ungefähr 0,25 mm hat.
  4. Zylinder nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Druckelastizitätsmodul der Schicht aus zelligem Gummi (4) ungefähr 9 Megaspascale beträgt.
  5. Zylinder nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Volumenprozentsatz des in der Schicht aus zelligem Gummi (4) vorzugsweise in geschlossenen Zellen eingeschlossenen Gases zwischen ungefähr 10 und 80% liegt.
  6. Zylinder nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der vorgenannte Gasvolumenprozentsatz zwischen ungefähr 12 und 15% liegt.
  7. Zylinder nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die lithographische Schicht (6) gleich oder kleiner als 0,25 mm ist.
