Definitions

  • the invention relates to a holder for journeyman glasses, glasses support frames or the like. With the features of the preamble of claim 1, which is intended for the presentation or display of such articles in sales outlets.
  • Eyeglass frames are currently presented in sales outlets either on a base such as in a shop window or in a display case or, for example, on shelves arranged on a wall for sales purposes.
  • the eyeglass frame assumes an angular position depending on the base or support, and often also a position that is often not ideal for viewing, so that each eyeglass frame is removed from the base or support and properly viewed by the customer, so to speak must be presented by hand.
  • the actuating body In another known holder of the type mentioned at the beginning (FR-A-1 200 036) intended for eyeglass frames, the actuating body consists of a support arm onto which an eyeglass frame can be attached.
  • the actuating body is provided with a housing formed from a ring with brackets arranged thereon, which encloses a spherical cap, which is fastened to a base consisting of a base plate and a column arranged thereon.
  • the free ends of the bracket of the housing are preferably inserted into a hollow cylindrical socket provided with an external thread and are soldered to the latter, a nut being rotatably seated on the external thread of the socket in order to be able to counter the support arm screwed onto the external thread of the socket.
  • This known holder has a relatively large number of parts and is designed as a stand that cannot be attached to a base in any position.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a holder with adjusting body, in particular for eyeglass frames, eyeglass support frames or the like, in which on the one hand the eyeglass frame is securely positioned, i.e. to present, and on the other hand the holder is designed in such a way that it is not perceived as annoying during the presentation and moreover offers the possibility of being able to exhibit the object to be presented in an optimal manner at all times by a wide range of adjustment options of the holder.
  • the adjusting body is three-dimensionally adjustable, it is possible to fix a spectacle frame fixed to the holder or a spectacle support fixed to the holder in such a way in different angular positions that the spectacle frame can be presented in an always optimal position regardless of the position of the base. This creates a possibility to present the frame to be presented in an almost unlimited number of different positions, without the holder or the base having to be changed by structural or remodeling measures or even the use of different types of holders being necessary.
  • the holder according to the invention can thus be three-dimensional adjust that the eyeglass frames can be shown floating in various positions on the wall or on another surface, so to speak.
  • control body can be ascertained ensures that no further aids are required for the presentation of the spectacle frames or the like, and that these can be presented to the interested parties free of technically induced disruptive influences.
  • the actuating body has a plug-in receptacle for the end of, for example, at least one ear clip of a spectacle frame or a spectacle support frame and if the actuating body consists of elastically resilient material, this ensures that an eyeglass frame attached to the holder according to the invention cannot simply be removed, but instead This requires a certain amount of care, which counteracts the unauthorized removal of eyeglass frames.
  • the end of an ear clip of an eyeglass frame for example inserted into the plug receptacle, is held securely in the actuating body by the inventive design of the actuating body, ie by a frictional connection.
  • the configuration according to the invention means that no further aids are necessary, ie that there is no separation between the plug receptacle and the actuating body, so that the holder according to the invention is extremely compact and therefore inexpensive.
  • a ball joint for a camera tripod it is known (GB-A-334 090) to partially insert a material with a high coefficient of friction, such as rubber, into the metal ball of a ball joint of the stand and to equip the ball joint with a housing in which a base can be screwed in, in order to set the ball of the ball joint, which partially protrudes from the housing, against the inner wall of the housing in the region of the opening from which the ball protrudes, with different pressure.
  • the base can be attached to the stand of the tripod.
  • the adjusting body is provided with a spectacle holder frame, it is possible to place the spectacle frame in to present unfolded state and, for example, to be able to view both ends of the ear hooks simultaneously.
  • the holder can thus be arranged in any arrangement and position on an arbitrarily arranged metallic base and can be implemented as required without special, further technical measures being required.
  • a suitable base for this purpose can be, for example, a metal sheet which is provided with a layer of paint or a plastic coating and thus offers an appealing external appearance which is expedient for sales outlets.
  • actuating body Due to the design of the actuating body as a joint or ball joint, a structural design is selected which is characterized by reliability and low wear, so that the usability of the holder according to the invention is ensured even over long periods of time.
  • the one Ball-containing holder housing is frustoconical at least in the upper end, ie at the end opposite the support side of the foot, and has at this end an opening that at least partially clears the ball, at least the inner edge of this opening of the holder housing being in contact with the ball surface.
  • the holder housing has an incision penetrating the housing wall at its edge forming the opening exposing the ball, an adjustability of the ball is not only possible in the area of the upper housing opening, but also an adjustability of the actuating body in the area of the incision, so that a further presentation possibility or adjustability is given.
  • the holder it is possible to design the holder so that it is suitable for inserting both ear hooks of a spectacle frame or for inserting the ear hooks of several spectacle frames, which in this case are presented in a special, decorative mutual arrangement, for example star-shaped can.
  • the first exemplary embodiment of a holder (1) for eyeglass frames shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 has a housing (2) which is shaped in the shape of a truncated cone in its upper region, the sides (3) in the upper region being designed in the form of part circles.
  • this is cylindrical and equipped with an internal thread (5) shown in FIG. 3, with the aid of which a threaded ring (6) is screwed into the lower part (4) of the housing (2).
  • the threaded ring (6) has at its upper end, as viewed in the direction of FIG. 3, a circular end ring (8) which is configured in one piece with its side wall (7) and is arranged coaxially with its central axis, while it is open on its lower side as viewed in the direction of FIG is designed.
  • a downwardly open metal shell (9) In the interior of the threaded ring (6) there is a downwardly open metal shell (9), the upper side of which rests against the underside of the end ring (8) and is held in the threaded ring (6) by friction.
  • the threaded ring (6) and the metal shell (9) form the foot (16) of the holder (1) in the present exemplary embodiment.
  • metal shell (9) it would also be conceivable for the metal shell (9) to be closed and to be provided with an adhesive layer at the lower end.
  • a permanent magnet (10) is arranged inside this metal shell (9), which is flush with the lower edge of the metal shell (9) and with this a uniform surface (11), i. H. Contact surface, forms with which the holder (1) can be attached to a base (not shown) and can thus be held on the base, provided that it is ferromagnetic or contains ferromagnetic inclusions.
  • a ball (12) is arranged, which is in contact with the upper side of the metal shell (9) and through which, when the foot (16) is screwed in, against the inner wall of the housing (2), which is open at the top in the viewing direction of FIG. is pressed against the inner edge of the housing opening so that the upper part of the ball (12) protrudes from the substantially frustoconical housing (2).
  • the ball (12) has an opening (13) projecting into it.
  • the opening (13) extends as a channel into the ball (12), the depth of the channel varying and being able to extend approximately over the entire diameter of the ball (12).
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 there is a nose-like incision (14) in the housing (2), which cuts from the upper edge (15) of the housing (2) at an angle to the central axis, i. 1, extending to the right, in the direction of view in FIG. 1, in order then to merge into a horizontal course in the direction of view in FIGS. 1 and 2, and then to end in a slot-like configuration.
  • the ball (12) can be moved in such a way that the opening (13), as shown in FIG. 2, is aligned with the incision (14).
  • Threaded ring (6) and metal shell (9) form the foot (16) of the holder (1), which in the present exemplary embodiment is equipped with a permanent magnet (10), this foot (16) in its direction of view in FIG. 1, vertical, position can be changed by rotating the threaded ring (6), so that with a corresponding change in position of the threaded ring (6) in the direction of the ball (12) this is pressed against the inner wall of the upper edge (15) of the holder housing (2) and thereby to secure against twisting, that is, to fix.
  • a permanent magnet (10) this foot (16) in its direction of view in FIG.
  • the housing (2) and the threaded ring (6) can in the present embodiment from z. B. plastic can be created, as well as the magnet (10) receiving shell can be made of plastic.
