Definitions

  • the invention relates to a goods dispensing device for a vending machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such goods dispensing devices are known from DE-OS 34 01 671 or from US-PS 42 52 250, in which the endless element is designed as a rotating chain or belt. Individual packs of goods can be inserted between the drivers of the endless belt. During a dispensing process, the user activates the drive of the circulating belt, which then covers a transport path corresponding to the distance between two adjacent drivers and thereby delivers a pack of goods into a bowl at the front end of the endless belt facing an output opening.
  • a disadvantage of this known device is the relatively low filling capacity, because only the upper run of the endless belt between the drivers can be loaded with packs of goods. After the sale of the packs of goods inserted between the drivers, the operator must re-stock the endless belt with packs of goods.
  • the object of the invention is to further develop a goods dispensing device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the number of packs of goods which can be used per filling operation is substantially increased.
  • a shaft open towards the endless element is provided, which extends almost up to the overall height of the drivers and can also be filled with goods which lie on the packs of goods lying between the drivers and - guided by the shaft - into possibly free ones Sliding or rolling spaces between the carriers. This automatically replenishes the free spaces as long as there are still packs of goods in the shaft. It is essential that the height and the distance of the drivers is adapted to the shape and size of the goods packs so that the filled upper run of the endless belt can be transported under the stack of goods immediately above without mechanical resistance or jamming.
  • the height of the drivers is preferably equal to or less than the corresponding height of the goods package.
  • the distance between two drivers is preferably chosen so that the goods can be accommodated there with sufficient play. If the individual pack of goods in height and / or in width is significantly smaller than the height and distance of the drivers, inserts are inserted between the drivers in a preferred embodiment and either attached to the endless element and / or to the drivers in order to space between adjacent ones To reduce drivers so that the upper edge of the inserted goods packs and the upper edges of the drivers are sufficiently adapted to each other. This ensures that the endless element loaded with goods can be carried out without interference - in sliding or rolling contact with the goods located directly above and arranged in the shaft.
  • the goods delivery device is particularly well suited for the delivery of goods packs with a circular cross-section, such as e.g. Cans etc.
  • a suitable length, shape and arrangement of the drivers non-round articles, e.g. rectangular or other shaped goods packs are issued.
  • the shaft width preferably corresponds approximately to the width of the driver in order to be able to refill the packs of goods between the drivers without transverse offset.
  • the lower opening of the shaft preferably extends over almost the entire length of the endless element in order to give the shaft the greatest possible filling capacity.
  • the foremost driver at the front end of the endless element is deflected around the front deflection roller in the backward direction, as a result of which the package of goods located behind this driver can fall freely downward into the product tray.
  • a driver at the rear end of the endless element passes the rear transverse wall of the shaft under the shaft opening, and the space in front of this driver is then filled by a pack of goods located in the shaft.
  • the rear transverse wall of the shaft is preferably inclined obliquely downwards so that the goods can slide or roll on the rear transverse wall directly between the free carriers and jamming or jamming be avoided with this automatic filling process.
  • the front transverse wall of the shaft is particularly preferably made of transparent material. Also preferred is the door of the vending machine, which closes the dispensing opening and has a dispensing flap at its lower end, made of transparent material, e.g. a glass pane, so that the user can easily recognize the respective stock in one of the goods dispensing devices.
  • a switching lug is preferably arranged on one of the deflecting rollers, which interacts with a switching finger of a switch, which switches off the drive of the endless element in each case when the switching lug actuates the switching finger.
  • a goods dispensing device is shown schematically in side view, which contains an endless element 2, namely an endless belt, which rotates around a front deflection roller 4 and a rear deflection roller 5.
  • the endless element 2 has equally spaced drivers 7, which are aligned perpendicular to the endless element and attached to the endless element 2.
  • a geared motor 6 drives the deflection roller 5 when a user activates the geared motor 6 by means of a control (not shown) to trigger an output process.
  • a switching lug 15 is provided on the deflection roller 5, which switches the geared motor 6 back into the rest position with each output operation after a switch 16, after the endless element has traveled a predetermined transport distance which corresponds to the distance between two adjacent drivers.
  • the geared motor, the switch and the endless element with the deflecting rollers are fastened to a base plate 1 a, which is arranged in the housing of the vending machine so that it can be pulled out to the front for filling.
  • the front end 3 of the endless element 2 protrudes into an output opening 3a of the vending machine, from which the product packs 8 inserted between the carriers 7 are delivered into a product tray 11.
  • the vending machine is closed on its front by a door 12, preferably made of glass, to which a removal flap 14 is pivotally attached, slightly above the product tray 11, cf. also Fig. 3.
  • a shaft 20 is arranged above the endless element and consists of a front transverse wall 22, a rear transverse wall 24 and two side walls 26, cf. also Fig. 3.
  • the front and rear transverse wall 22, 24 end at a height slightly above the drivers 7 of the endless element 2, so that the drivers can pass under the transverse walls 22, 24 of the shaft 20 when the endless element 2 moves.
  • the shaft 20 is open towards the end of the endless element 2, the lower opening of the shaft 20 is slightly smaller than the distance between the two deflection rollers 4, 5.
  • the distance between the two side walls 26 is wider than the width B of the driver 7, cf. Fig. 3.
  • the shaft 20 is filled with goods packs 8, the lowest layer in the shaft lies on the corresponding goods packs located between the drivers and rolls or slides on the goods packs transported by the drivers when the endless element 2 is activated for a dispensing process and in a circular movement is transferred.
  • the front transverse wall 22 of the shaft 20 is made of transparent material so that the user can easily see the degree of filling of the shaft in question through the transparent door 12 of the vending machine.
  • the rear transverse wall 24 of the shaft 20 is inclined downward to the front, so that the free compartment between two drivers 7 that enters under the rear shaft each time it is dispensed can be automatically refilled by means of a defined movement of a pack of goods originating from the shaft.
  • 7 inserts 17 can be attached between adjacent drivers, which suitably reduce the space between the carriers 7 so that the upper edge of the goods packages 8 is approximately aligned with the upper edge of the carriers 7.
  • the inserts 17 are fastened to the carriers 7 by means of a suitable latching or snap connection.
  • the inserts 17 can also be attached to the endless element 2.
  • the goods dispensing devices according to the invention can be used or converted for different goods packs by the inserts.
  • the inserts 17 raise the goods packs 8 sufficiently in the spaces between the carriers 7 so that the goods above do not get into the spaces during an output operation and hinder or even output the movement process.
  • the inserts 17 have a triangular cross section with a working surface that rises towards a driver.
  • other cross-sections of the inserts and other forms of the drivers are also possible.
  • FIG. 3 shows a front view of a vending machine which is equipped with a plurality of goods dispensing devices 1 arranged next to one another. Corresponding groups of goods dispensing devices 1 lying above are not shown.
  • the goods dispensing devices 1 Through the transparent front door 12 of the vending machine, the goods dispensing devices 1, the side walls 26 of the associated shafts, the transparent front transverse walls 10 and goods 8 located in the shafts and the returning drivers 7 of the lower run of the endless element 2 can be seen.
  • the dispensing cap 14 Underneath the lowest group of goods dispensing devices 1 is the dispensing cap 14 through which the customer delivers the dispensed goods can remove from the tray 11.
  • the controls of the vending machine are shown schematically.
