Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for cutting stacked, sheet-like material, with a table, the surface of which is a working field, above which there is a cutting knife and a press beam, behind it an input field for receiving the material to be cut and before that, an output field for receiving the cut material has, with a feed device for the material to be cut.
  • Such a device is known from DE-A-3 101 911.
  • the stack is usually pulled during the edge trimming after an edge cut by the operator who is in the area of the exit field onto the exit field, there rotated by 90 °, pushed back onto the input field and placed there under the cutting knife by means of the feed device, so that the next edge cut can be made, followed by corresponding edge cuts until finally all edges of the stack have been trimmed.
  • Such a method of work requires exhausting manual work, the movement sequences being extremely unfavorable from an ergonomic point of view, since the operator has to pull the heavy item outside of the usual arm range, that is to say with his upper body bent forward, and then turn it. This applies not only to the described edge cuts, but generally when it is necessary to turn the material to be cut in the area of the entry field.
  • a device for cutting stacked paper which has a device for handling the paper stack.
  • This device has a rotating member which can be lowered onto the top of the paper stack and with which the stack can be rotated on the table.
  • a pair of holders is provided for laterally gripping the paper stack in the region of opposite side surfaces, with which the paper stack can be aligned with a feed unit.
  • a gripper system for rotating the material to be cut is provided in the plane of the table surface in the area of the input field, the gripper system having at least one gripper tongs which can be moved parallel and perpendicular to the table surface, with parallel gripping level oriented to the table surface.
  • the gripper system allows everyone in the area of the entrance field work to be carried out fully automatically.
  • the material to be cut can be rotated in connection with edge trimming by means of the gripper system, moreover, the material to be cut can be pulled back in the direction of the feed unit and also advanced in the direction of the cutting knife by means of the gripper system, which considerably simplifies the orderly placement of the stack to be cut becomes.
  • an air nozzle system can be provided in the table, in particular in the area of the input field, in order to reduce the displacement forces. Due to the design according to the invention, the gripper tongs grips the stack to be cut laterally, when using two gripper tongs they can grip the stack on one side or opposite sides.
  • the device has a first support projecting over the input field, the free end of which receives a second support which can be pivoted parallel to the table surface and which in turn receives the gripper tongs movable perpendicular to the table surface.
  • the first beam expediently extends approximately to the middle of the input field, so that the second beam only has to be slightly longer than half the length of the longitudinal extent of the input field.
  • the second carrier is designed to be variable in length, with which travel times of the feed device for the material to be cut can be reduced, since the second carrier moves closer to the stack when the stack is rotated and the carrier movement is superimposed and the feed device follows the same can position adjacent to the cutting knife.
  • the second carrier should receive a gripper carrier which can be displaced perpendicularly to this and parallel to the table surface and in which a lifting element is mounted, to which the gripper tongs are connected. Due to the displaceable mounting of the gripper carrier, the gripper tongs can grip the stack to be cut at different distances from the work area, in particular in the middle of the stack side to be gripped. In addition, it is considered advantageous if the gripper carrier has two spaced apart arranged gripper tongs are connected, which then do not grip the stack in the middle of the stack side, but further outside.
  • the lifting element assigned to the respective gripper tongs for lowering and lifting the gripper tongs should advantageously be designed as a lifting cylinder which is acted upon pneumatically or hydraulically. There is of course also the possibility of moving the gripper tongs by means of a spindle or the like.
  • a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the projecting carrier is stationary. According to a further embodiment it is provided that the cantilever is displaceable parallel to the longitudinal extension of the cutting knife and press beam.
  • the cantilevered carrier can be connected, for example, to a stand which receives the cutting knife and the press beam. Instead, there is also the possibility that the cantilever beam is connected to a stand arranged behind or next to the starting field. Especially when the carrier is arranged behind the exit field, the gripper tongs can take over the function of the feed device.
  • the first and the second carrier can form a knee joint, with the free end of which is preferably connected to the gripper carrier with the two gripper tongs that can be moved perpendicular to the table surface.
  • the gripper system thus not only has the function of rotating the stack, but also advancing it, or there is even the possibility of using the gripper system to transfer the material to be cut from a peripheral device to the device. If the grippers are movable relative to one another, the gripper system can also have the function of a rotating saddle which compensates for angular position tolerances of the stack.
  • Each gripper tongs expediently has a lower, relative to this stationary gripper tongue and an upper, relative to This gripper tongue movable perpendicular to the table surface by a lifting element, in particular a lifting cylinder.
  • the table in the entrance area should have a trough for receiving the lower gripper tongue.
  • the table in the input field can have lifting cylinders mounted in it, the piston rods of which can be extended out of the table and thus, when the stack to be cut is appropriately positioned, raise it in the edge area so that the lower gripper tongue can be moved under the stack.
  • a special embodiment of the invention provides that the table is provided with at least one side stop which can be lowered or folded down under the table surface for aligning the material to be cut. It is therefore possible to also rotate stacks on the input field of the device whose diagonal is larger than the width of the input field and consequently, when rotating in the area of the corner thereof, protrude beyond the lateral boundary of the input field.
  • the device described in the figures relates to a paper cutting machine forming a structural unit.
  • this has, in a known manner, a table 12, the surface of which has a working field 12a, above which a cutting knife 2 and a press beam 3 are located, behind which an input field 12b for receiving the Good 25 or 25 'to be cut and, in front of it, an exit field 12c for receiving the good not shown.
  • a spindle-driven feed saddle 13 which can be moved in the longitudinal extent of the table 12 via the input field 12b, is used to move the material to be cut.
  • the figures also show the machine stand 11 of the paper cutting machine, whose portal 11a arranged above the table 12 receives the cutting knife 2 and the press beam 3 on its underside.
  • the reference number 4 denotes an electric motor flanged to the machine stand 11 for driving the paper cutting machine 1.
  • a gripper system 29 is connected to the portal 11a.
  • a projecting first carrier 14 is flanged to the portal 11a on the side facing the input field 12b. This extends perpendicular to the portal 11a in the plane of symmetry 5 of the table 12 to almost the center of the table.
  • the free end of the carrier 14 is provided with two jaws 14 arranged parallel to one another, through which a bolt 6 oriented perpendicular to the input field 12b passes. Between the jaws 14, a second support 15 can be pivoted about the bolt 6, which, via locking means (not shown in more detail), is in a first position, shown in FIGS.
  • the carrier 15 is formed in two parts, a first tubular carrier element 15a is connected to the free end of the carrier 14 and provided with guide rollers 15b for a further carrier element 15c which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the carrier element 15a.
  • a pneumatically operated pivot cylinder 7 engages on the carrier 14 and on the carrier element 15a, with which the carrier element 15a can be pivoted from the position perpendicular to the carrier 14 into the extended position.
  • a pneumatically acting cylinder 16 is arranged between the carrier element 15a and the carrier element 15c and serves to extend or retract the carrier element 15c.
  • the structural conditions with respect to the second carrier 15c are such that there is the possibility of retracting it as far as possible, but on the other hand also extending it so far that it protrudes beyond the side edge 12d of the table 12 and on the other hand extends in the extended position to the feed saddle 13.
  • the carrier element 15c has in the region of its free end perpendicular to its longitudinal extension and parallel to the input field 12b upper and lower guides 18, in which a gripper carrier plate 17 is slidably mounted.
  • the gripper carrier plate 17 is displaced via a further pneumatic cylinder 8, which acts on the one hand on the carrier element 15c and on the other hand on a bearing ring 9 of the gripper carrier plate 17.
  • the length of the guides 18 is dimensioned such that the gripper carrier plate 17 - based on the illustration in FIG. 1 - can be moved between a position adjacent to the portal 11a and such a position symmetrically to the center of the entry field.
  • Two gripper receptacles 10 are connected to the gripper carrier plate 17 at a distance from one another.
