Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a plate element for a noise barrier according to the preamble of claim 1.
Panel elements are known which can be assembled into sound-absorbing noise barriers with the aid of known connecting elements and techniques. Noise protection walls composed of such plate elements are used to protect the surroundings from traffic noise at the edges of streets and train tracks. Various types of such noise barriers are known. In particular, noise barriers made of concrete must be distinguished from those made of wood.
In a known embodiment of a sound-absorbing noise protection wall made of concrete, the supporting base body consists of conventional concrete, which is provided on the sound-facing side with a sound-absorbing layer made of a porous concrete, for example made of lavender clay. In order to achieve an improved sound-absorbing effect, the surface of the sound-absorbing layer can be wave-shaped, for example in the form of longitudinal trapezoidal elevations and depressions. Such noise barriers are robust and insensitive to environmental influences such as pollution, moisture and frost. Although the porous absorption layer absorbs moisture, it is not destroyed by it, but rather the moisture flows through the porous material and takes dirt particles attached to it in the pores or on the surface. It has been shown that moisture frozen in the pores does not cause any damage to the absorption layer.
The disadvantage of such noise barriers is the high weight, which is particularly noticeable when transported to the installation site and, for example, when used on bridges, etc.
In another known embodiment, the noise barriers are made of wood. In this version, the noise barriers have the advantage of significantly lower weight than those made of concrete and offer aesthetic advantages over concrete walls.
Noise protection walls made of wood according to the preamble of claim 1 are usually constructed so that the sound-absorbing effect is achieved by a layer of sound-absorbing material, which is located within a supporting frame. The sound-absorbing layer preferably consists of rock wool or another, preferably mineral, fiber wool. The frame of such a plate element is closed at the rear by means of a wooden rear wall, which consists for example of wooden slats. If necessary, an air gap can be provided between the sound-absorbing layer and the rear wall in order to achieve an additional insulating effect. Towards the front, i.e. towards the side facing the sound, the sound-absorbing layer can additionally be covered with a polyester fleece. The mechanically effective covering of the noise protection wall towards the soundproof side is carried out in such designs by means of wooden slats. The wooden slats are attached to the frame in front of the sound-absorbing layer in the form of a slatted frame, i.e. at a certain distance from each other, preferably in the vertical direction. Slats with a trapezoidal cross section are preferably used for this purpose.
In this version, the sound-absorbing layer is exposed to the outside in the spaces between the individual wooden slats. A complete, Covering the entire area of the sound-absorbing layer is not possible to maintain the noise protection function. In addition to a greater sensitivity to dirt than noise protection walls made of concrete, the described design of a wooden noise protection wall has in particular the disadvantage that the sound-absorbing layer is only incompletely protected against mechanical damage due to the incomplete covering to the outside. Willful and natural damage to the sound-absorbing layer and thus considerable impairment of the noise protection effect can often occur.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a noise barrier which offers the advantages of a wooden noise barrier, in particular with regard to the aesthetic effect and weight of the wall, and which is just as robust as the known versions of concrete noise barriers.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the features listed in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
The invention is described in more detail below with reference to the drawing, for example.
The figure shows: a section through a noise barrier with a plate element according to the invention.
The exemplary embodiment of a plate element 1 according to the invention for a noise protection wall shown in the figure consists of a
To achieve the desired noise protection effect completely, it is necessary to provide the gaps between the individual plate elements with appropriate sealing means. For this purpose, the frame of the plate element can be provided with corresponding grooves and other connecting means.
The plate element according to the invention for a noise protection wall is covered on the side facing the sound by a layer of a cement-bound, porous material. In an advantageous embodiment, this cement-bound, porous material is a lavabone. However, other, advantageously porous aggregates can also be present individually or in combination with one another in the cement-bound material forming the covering layer. These additives can be, for example, wood chips, clay balls, granules made of foam plastic or similar particles.
The plate element according to the invention achieves its Noise protection effect through the combination of two sound-absorbing means, one behind the other, ie the cover layer and additionally the insulating layer. The plate element according to the invention for a noise protection wall thus achieves a good noise protection effect, is insensitive to dirt and weather influences and damage to the absorption layer, which preferably consists of a fiber wool, is excluded.
