Definitions

  • the invention relates to a small transportable pallet with an essentially rectangular outline made of foldable material, such as corrugated cardboard, provided in a multi-part cut shape, with a pallet surface receiving a load, with a pallet contact surface (bottom surface) and with support elements spaced apart from one another above and above, between which at least one loading trough is arranged in each of the two main dimensions of the rectangle for engaging loading spars of industrial trucks, the center line of one loading trough being offset from the parallel center line of the pallet surface and along the free edge of the trough center line
  • Half of the surface of the pallet is provided a free flange or web that can be gripped from the footprint by a loading spar and extends over the lateral support element boundary, and wherein the support elements are at least two in the manner of spars n arranged supports are aligned parallel to the flange which can be gripped under and are provided with openings which extend essentially in the direction of the main axis of symmetry perpendicular to the center lines to form the second loading channel.
  • Known small pallets of this type have an area that is half or, more frequently, only a quarter of standard pallets of standard dimensions with Euro pallet dimensions (800 x 1200 mm). They are preferably used for single use, and that is why their primary concern is to save material and manufacturing costs, i.e. to provide inexpensive pallets. At the same time, it should be possible to reach under the pallet using industrial trucks (pallet trucks, forklifts) despite the small dimensions. For this purpose an embodiment has been developed and described in the known small pallet, which can even be driven under in both main directions of the rectangle. Since a one-piece blank arrangement does not allow any incisions for a second loading channel for reasons of strength, this pallet is formed from two blank parts.
  • the support elements are designed as two spar-like supports with a course perpendicular to the main loader center line. They are broken through by the loading trough and form between them at least a second loading trough running coaxially parallel to the second main pallet axis in such a way that in half of the offset trough center line narrower and in the other half broader cuboid feet are formed and on the side the wide feet of the free, accessible flange or web is located.
  • This known transport pallet which can be driven under in two directions, requires a relatively large amount of construction and material, since the support bodies on the side of the free flange or web are to be wider than those on the opposite side, and in addition the vertical arrangement of the spar-like supports to the free web raises certain strength problems in the case of improper handling, which occurs frequently in practical use, in particular when gravity is exerted on the pallet when the charger is attacked incorrectly or when it falls.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a small pallet which, using simple structural means and with the least possible material expenditure, enables an improvement in terms of strength and the processability of the blanks, that is to say their erection.
  • the two spar-like carriers running parallel to the free web form self-contained and compact, uniformly formable support elements which release a channel for the engagement of a spar of an industrial truck and can extend over the entire width of the pallet.
  • These support or stand elements can just fill and support the corner areas of the pallet, so that advantageous strength ratios result particularly in these in practice, ie in use frequently and with high stress.
  • the structure of a pallet constructed in this way is very clear and easy to use, and it offers considerable advantages in terms of the cost of materials.
  • the simple arrangement and proper mutual allocation of the cut parts ensures that they are unfolded separately and that they are mutually connected on machines in a simple manner.
  • the separate arrangement of the Cuts thus enable the support body to be prefabricated independently of the plate.
  • the formation of the pallet from a multi-part blank can, in terms of material expenditure, i.e. the arrangement possibilities of the blanks in the use result in particularly favorable conditions, that is to say the manufacturing costs for such a pallet are kept low.
  • material expenditure i.e. the arrangement possibilities of the blanks in the use result in particularly favorable conditions, that is to say the manufacturing costs for such a pallet are kept low.
  • care must be taken that the cut parts, apart from the least possible amount of material, can be simply and clearly unfolded and connected to one another, with processing of the cuts on folding and erecting machines being ensured at all times.
  • the carriers are each formed with hollow box-shaped stand elements / feet.
  • Such elements are generally known in the case of pallets made of foldable material, but in connection with the invention, in combination with the multipart nature of the blanks, they offer considerable advantages insofar as, for example, the holding tabs are worked out from above, out of the surface of the pallet, engage in the feet and these can lock or rest against them from the outside and can be connected to a wall of the feet.
  • a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the spar-like carrier from a common sub-cut part and the pallet surface from one single-layer panel blank are formed. This results in a compact substructure with feet arranged in the corners, the central connecting part of which rests like a support bridge from below against the central part of the plate and can be connected to stiffen this area, while only a single-layer cut part is required for the surface , on which preferably only one retaining tab needs to be provided for each foot formed on the substructure. Of course, it is also possible and conceivable to arrange several tabs for each foot, but efforts will regularly be made to weaken the area as little as possible.
  • the panel cut part can advantageously be provided with a connecting or holding tab for each stand / foot element formed on the substructure, so that after the substructure has been unfolded, only the panel needs to be placed on it from above and the four connecting elements or holding tabs can be folded down to be connected to the substructure, with other surfaces lying opposite one another by gluing or the like. be connected at the same time.
  • the panel cut part can be designed with a foldable free edge as a web base.
  • an edge attachment for supporting and supporting the web, which is located on the panel cut part is formed on the substructure cut part.
  • the holding tabs are preferably arranged in the construction of the pallet from two blank parts in such a way that a first pair of holding tabs are stamped in the plate surface and can be folded out of it and a second pair of holding tabs than over the opposite of the web Edge protruding tab elements are provided. This results in only a pair of openings in the pallet surface, but these are located in the area of the feet and thus do not significantly restrict the overall load capacity of the pallet or the loading capacity of the pallet surface.
  • the spar-like supports can preferably be formed from two blank parts and the pallet surface from a double-layer foldable blank part. It is expedient if the double-layer cut part can be folded along the edge of the web, two pairs of holding tabs being arranged out of the surface in the underlying plate layer and a pair of holding tabs being arranged in the upper position, while the second pair of upper holding tabs are arranged on the the edge opposite the web can be.
  • a support tab can be articulated between the second pair of upper holding tabs for gripping under the pallet surface.
  • Another aim of the high overall pallet carrying capacity, stability and strength as well as easy stackability and storage as well as usability is the formation of the pallet in such a way that the support beam-like supports or stand elements, with the exception of the pallet edge determined by the web, are essentially flush with the boundary edges complete the pallet surface.
  • the material for the cut parts and thus for the pallets made up of them is all possible foldable material with sufficient inherent rigidity in at least one direction, although corrugated cardboard, in particular double-layer corrugated cardboard, due to its strength properties and its low weight, as well as Possibility to use paper material obtained in recycling for the purpose of producing disposable pallets, is preferably used.
  • the parts can be connected to each other in any suitable manner, which is usually and preferably done by gluing, but also, if necessary partly in combination with gluing, by stapling, frictional clamping or the like. can be done.
  • cut lines are shown in the drawings as solid lines and fold lines or edges as dashed lines, without needing to be referred to separately in each case.
  • the appropriate corrugations are indicated in the figures at "A”.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 The embodiment of a small transport pallet 1 of Euro size (400 x 600 mm) according to the invention shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is constructed from two blank parts 101 and 102, the blank parts being shown in FIG. 1 on a smaller scale than in FIG. 2 .
  • These cut parts form, with reference first to FIG. 2, that is to say the finished pallet, forming a pallet surface 2 on the pallet 1 which is supported or carried by a substructure 39 formed from two carrier-beam-like carriers 3.
  • the pallet 1 is rectangular in plan and corresponds to one of its longitudinal extent Main axis S is formed symmetrically, while it has an asymmetrical arrangement with respect to its substructure 39 with respect to the second center line M of the pallet surface 2 in such a way that this second center line M is offset from the center line L of the substructure 39.
  • the pallet 1 can be passed under in both main directions M and S with the loading spars of industrial trucks, for which purpose loaders 5a in the direction M and 5b in the direction S are formed by corresponding interruptions in the substructure 39.
  • an asymmetry of the pallet surface 2 with respect to the center line L is necessary in order to be able to drive under the pallet in width, that is perpendicular to the main axis of symmetry S with a fork or a double bar, and to lift it safely of the substructure is provided in such a way that an edge flange or web 6 is provided as a free flange of the pallet surface above the edge of the carrier 3 on the left in relation to the drawing, under which a fork of a conveyor can freely grip.
  • the pallet is to be lifted by engaging in the other direction, that is to say in the longitudinal loading channel 5b, this can only be done with a loading spar, as is customary in practice today.
  • Such single-leg lifting is common for short transfer distances, whereas the underride with two legs is used for longer transport routes.
  • the substructure cut part 101 is essentially elongated-rectangular and serves to form the two carrier-beam-like supports 3 by swiveling up, by folding line delimiting a contact surface 30, to form cuboid stand elements or feet 34 first foot straps 35 and, perpendicularly thereto, second foot straps 36 are articulated, of which wall elements 351 and 361 are folded inwards by 90 ° in the erected state, so that they form the wall of the feet 34 with adjacent wall parts against them glued or otherwise connected.
  • the plate blank 102 also has an elongated rectangular shape to form the pallet surface 2, whereby, in order to pivot about the fold line visible on the left, an edge projection 61 is folded down and a web support or reinforcement for the edge flange or a flange which can be gripped under by a conveyor spar. web 6 forms the finished pallet. Holding tabs 24 for connection to the substructure 39 are arranged in or on the pallet surface 2.
  • external retaining tabs 242 arranged at the other end of the cut part 102 are folded against the outside of the two feet 34 of the right spar-like carrier 3 and connected to them.
  • a first loading channel 5a being formed under the support bridge 37, which supports and is also connected to the central region of the single-layer pallet surface 2, while between the two feet 34 of each carrier 3 as a result of the inwardly folded foot strap parts 351 which determine the inner sides of the feet, the second loading channel 5b is determined and released. Thanks to uniform, design-oriented dimensioning, all parts are coordinated with one another in such a way that they are of great concern the parts against each other, sufficient connectivity and thus a stable, compact structure of the pallet.
  • FIGS. 3 and 4 differs from that of FIGS. 1 and 2 essentially in that the edge projection 61, instead of being arranged on the surface cut part 102, forms part of the substructure cut part 101. Unfolding and connecting takes place essentially in the same way as described in connection with FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • a double-layer panel cutting part 103 is provided with an upper panel layer 103o and a lower panel layer 103u.
  • the substructure cut part is replaced by two carrier cut parts 104, only one of which is shown here and which, essentially with regard to the foot straps 35, 36 or the wall elements 351, 361, has an analogous configuration to the cut part 101 of FIG 3 have. From this carrier blank 104, the two feet 34 are unfolded in pairs around the contact surface 30. From the plate layer 103u lying below, they engage, punched-out and pivotably articulated holding tabs 24u which are glued to the inside of the feet.
  • the double fold line shown in the middle of the cut part 103 determines the free edge of the edge web 6 in the finished pallet, in the vicinity of which in the top plate layer 103o, opposite to the associated holding tabs 24u for the feet 34 of the left-hand beam-like carrier 3, a pair of holding tabs 241o are pivotally arranged, which are connected to them on the opposite inside of the feet, while on the other free edge of the top plate layer 103o, fold-down holding tabs 242o corresponding to the tabs 242 of the other embodiments are folded from the outside against the feet of the right support beam-like support 3 and thus get connected.
  • the pallet constructed in this way has approximately the same appearance as that of FIG. 2 and FIG. 4, although it is quite different in terms of the cutting structure.
