Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft einen textilen Verschluß mit Fasern aus linearen Polyestern.
- Textile Verschlüsse wie Reißverschlüsse und Haftverschlüsse (Haken- bzw. Klettverschlüsse) aus Polyesterfasern sind bekannt. So zeigt zum Beispiel das DE-GM 1 809 110 einen Reißverschluß, dessen Gliederreihen von wendel- oder mäanderförmigen Windungen aus linearen Polyestern gebildet sind. Die DE-PS 33 26 086 beschreibt einen Haftverschluß, bei dem der Haken- und Schlaufenteil zum Teil aus Polyesterfäden besteht.
- Diese textilen Verschlüsse haben eine geringe Flammfestigkeit. Wenn auch der Verschluß nur einen kleinen Anteil am Gesamtgewicht des zugehörigen Objekts ausmacht, kann er wegen seiner geringen Flammfestigkeit das Brandverhalten entscheidend beeinflussen. Flammschutzverhalten wird jedoch, nicht zuletzt durch gesetzliche Auflagen immer wichtiger.
- Aus der DE-OS 35 13 325 ist ein Haftverschluß bekannt, bei dem zur Erhöhung der Flammfestigkeit die Haken des Hakenteils aus Draht gebildet sind, während die Schlaufen wie auch das Band des Schlaufenteils aus Carbonfasern bestehen. Wegen des verwendeten Drahtes hat dieser Haftverschluß jedoch keinen rein textilen Charakter mehr.
- Textile Verschlüsse könnten durch aufgebrachte Ausrüstungen flammfest gemacht werden. Aufgebrachte Ausrüstungen sind jedoch aufwendig und können den textilen Charakter und sogar die Verschlußkraft beeinträchtigen.
- Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen textilen Verschluß mit Fasern aus linearen Polyestern zu schaffen, der bei möglichst geringem Aufwand flammhemmende Eigenschaften besitzt.
- Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Fasern Monofile aus Polyestern aus Dicarbonsäure- und Diolkomponenten sind, in die ein flammhemmendes Mittel inkorporiert ist.
- Derartige durch Rohstoffmodifikation flammfest gemachte Polyester sind aus der DE-PS 23 46 787 bekannt. Dort werden als Anwendungen jedoch nur Fasern und Fäden für Textilien und technische Artikel wie Planenstoffe, Teppiche und Gardinen erwähnt.
- Durch die Erfindung wird dagegen erstmals die Verwendung von Monofilen aus flammfest modifizierten Polyestern für textile Verschlüsse vorgeschlagen. Auf diese Weise ist es gelungen, derartige textile Verschlüsse in einfacher Weise flammfest zu machen, ohne daß hierzu aufwendige Ausrüstungen erforderlich sind.
- Ist der textile Verschluß ein Haftverschluß (Haken- bzw. Klettverschluß), so beträgt der Durchmesser der den Haken- bzw. Schlaufenteil bildenden Monofile zweckmäßigerweise 0,15 bis 0,25mm. Ist der Verschluß dagegen als Reißverschluß ausgebildet, so beträgt der Durchmesser der Monofile zweckmäßigerweise 0,45 bis 1,20mm.
- Bei dem erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagenen Einsatz von Monofilen aus flammfest modifizierten Polyestern für textile Verschlüsse bleiben die vorteilhaften textiltechnologischen Eigenschaften des Polyesters weitgehend erhalten.
- So zeichnet sich auch der erfindungsgemäß ausgebildete Verschluß durch eine geringe Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme aus, was ihm eine gute Maßhaltigkeit und hohe Aufbruchfestigkeit verleiht.
- Anhand der Zeichnungen werden zwei Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung erläutert. Es zeigt:
- Fig. 1 einen Reiverschluß;
- Fig. 2 den Schlaufenteil eines Haftverschlusses;
- Fig. 3 den Hakenteil des Haftverschlusses.
- Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Reißverschluß 10 besitzt mäanderförmig gewundene Monofile 12, 14 aus flammfest modifizierten Polyestern, die vorzugsweise nach der Lehre der DE-PS 23 46 787 hergestellt sind.
- Die Monofile 12, 14 haben einen runden, vorzugsweise kreisrunden Querschnitt. Ihr Durchmesser beträgt 0,45 bis 1,20mm. Es versteht sich, daß die Monofile 12, 14 statt mäanderförmig auch wendelförmig gewunden sein könnten.
- Der in den Fig. 2 und 3 schematisch dargestellte Haftverschluß besteht aus einem Schlaufenteil 20 und einem Hakenteil 26. Der Schlaufenteil 20 besitzt Schlaufen 22, die von einem textilen Band 24 abstehen, während der Hakenteil 26 Haken 28 aufweist, die von einem textilen Band 30 abstehen. Die Haken 28 sind durch Schlaufen gebildet, die an einer Seite durch einen Schnitt 32 aufgeschnitten sind.
- Die Schlaufen 22 des Schlaufenteils 20 und die Haken 28 des Hakenteils 26 werden jeweils von monofilen aus flammfest modifizierten Polyestern gebildet, die vorzugsweise nach der Lehre der DE-PS 23 46 787 hergestellt sind.
- Auch diese Monofile haben einen runden, vorzugsweise kreisrunden Querschnitt. Ihr Durchmesser liegt im Bereich von 0,15 bis 0,25mm.
