Die über die Vorderwand 22 der Verpackungen 51 hinwegstehenden Anschlußstücke 42 der nach dem Trennschnitt gebildeten Klebeetiketten 40 werden gemeinsam umgefaltet nach unten in die Ebene der Stirnwand 27. Zu diesem Zweck ist in der Bewegungsbahn der Packungsreihen 52, 53 zwischen diesen ein ortsfestes Faltorgan vorgesehen. Dieses ist bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel als rotierende Faltscheibe 67 ausgebildet. Die Gestalt der Faltscheibe 67 ist an den Faltvorgang angepaßt, nämlich doppelkonisch. Schräg gerichtete, beidseitig angeordnete Faltflächen 68 erfassen den Überstand, nämlich das Anschluß stück 42 und bewegen dieses abwärts, bis ein ebener Flachteil 69 der Faltscheibe 67 aufgrund der Relativstellung das umgefaltet Anschlußstück 42 an die Stirnwand 27 andrückt. Das an den Klebeetiketten 40 angebrachte Griffende 43 wird aus einem Materialstreifen 70 aus Papier, Folie oder dergleichen gefertigt und auf die klebende Seite des Klebeetiketts 40 anfgebracht. Der Materialstreifen 70 wird von einer Materialrolle 71 fortlaufend abgezogen. Der Materialstreifen 70 ist bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel in doppelter Breite ausgeführt und wird während des Transports mittig durchtrennt, und zwar durch ein Schneidmesser 72. Die beiden so entstehenden Teilstreifen 73, 74 werden auf Abstand voneinander gefördert und zwar durch Anlage am Umfang einer Umlenkwalze 75. Der gebildete Abstand ist auf die erwünschte Relatiylage der Teilstreifen 73, 74 an der Materialbahn 57 ausgerichtet. Die Teilstreifen 73, 74 werden am Rand der Materialbahn 57 fortlaufend an diese angedrückt, und zwar auf der mit Kleber versehenen Seite. Die Teilstreifen 73, 74 werden so fest mit den Randbereichen der Materialbahn 57 verbunden. Die Relativlage der Teilstreifen 73, 74 ist derart, daß beim Stanzen bzw. Schneiden der Klebeetiketten 40 bzw. Doppeletiketten 55 die Griffenden 50 am vorgesehenen Ende bzw. Rand der Klebeetiketten 44 gebildet sind. Beim Stanzvorgang entstehender Materialabfall im Bereich der Teilstreifen 73, 74 wird mit dem Abfallstreifen 64 abgefördert.The
Eine Abwandlung des vorstehend beschriebenen Verfahrens sowie der Vorrichtung ist aus Fig. 8 entnehmbar. Hier werden aus der Materialbahn 57 nicht die beschriebenen Doppeletiketten 55 geschnitten bzw. gestanzt, sondern diese Vorrichtung ist für die Herstellung von einzelnen Klebeetiketten 40 und zum paarweisen Anbringen derselben an jeweils zwei Verpackungen 51 eingerichtet. Zu diesem Zweck wird die mit den Teilstreifen 73, 74 versehene Materialbahn 57 vor der Schneid- bzw. Stanzstelle, also vor Erreichen der Übertragungswalze 61 und der Schneidwalze 62, in der Längsmitte bei fortlaufendem Transport geteilt, und zwar durch ein scheibenförmiges Schneidmesser 76. Die so entstehenden Teilbahnen 77, 78 werden mit Abstand voneinander an den Umfang der Übertragungswalze 61 herangeführt.
