Definitions
- the invention relates to a bag package of film or the like for bulk materials or fibrous material, in particular for a tobacco portion as package contents, consisting of at least three sides interconnected front wall and rear wall, which define an (upper) bag opening.
- the bag consists of a particular thermally sealable film, possibly multi-layered or multi-layered.
- the known tobacco pouches are predominantly designed so that an elongated, strip-shaped blank of the film is folded along a bottom edge to form a pocket and front wall and rear wall, which are connected to (upright) sides by side seams or by foldable side walls.
- the rear wall usually has an extension to form a winding flap or envelope flap, which bears against the front wall of the bag when the bag is closed and, if necessary, is detachably connected thereto.
- the invention has the object of providing such bag packages in such a way that the bag opening before the first use tightly sealed and then easy handling during repeated opening and closing is guaranteed, the structure of the bag in the opening area should be stable and durable.
- the Zip-Lock strips are an easy-to-use and multi-acting, tight closure. Due to the special design of the ends of these Zip-lock strips, namely by the punched in the area of Zip-Lock profiles, on the one hand dense and durable, loadable opening of the bag is created, in particular by the direct connection of the front wall and rear wall thermal sealing in the field of punching.
- a special feature is the method for producing such bag packages.
- the Zip-Lock profiles are each applied as a continuous belt on a continuous material web and accurately connected to this.
- the continuous band of the profile strips is provided with preferably circular punches, which are arranged in the width of a bag package corresponding distances from each other.
- a transverse separation takes place, specifically in the center of the circular punches.
- the embodiments of bag packages 10 serve to receive a tobacco portion 11.
- the bag is made of thin packaging material, in particular of a thermally sealable film.
- a blank is folded to form a bottom edge 12, so that a front wall 13 and a rear wall 14 are opposite each other or form the actual bag for receiving the tobacco portion 11.
- front wall 13 and rear wall 14 are permanently connected to each other, by (upright) side seams 15, 16.
- the rear wall 14 is provided with a continuation or continuation to form a flap 17, the closed wallet against the front wall 13th transferred and connected to this solvable, eg with an adhesive label 18.
- An upper portion of the bag or front wall 13 and rear wall 14 is formed as a bag opening 19. This extends between the side seams 15, 16. About the bag opening 19, the tobacco portion 11 is filled and removed when consumed. In the closed position are upper edge strips of the front wall 13 and rear wall 14 to each other or are connected to each other by separable closure means.
- the closure means or closure members may be formed in various ways.
- two cooperating closure strips are arranged, namely magnetic strips 20, 21. These extend in the region of a filling material-free opening strip 22 of front wall 13 and rear wall 14 between the side seams 15, 16.
- the closure means or magnetic strips 20, 21 In the closed position are the correspondingly poled magnetic strips 20, 21 to each other.
- Above the closure means or magnetic strips 20, 21 is located in the region of the front wall 13, a grip tab 23, which can be detected for opening or separating the magnetic strip 20, 21.
- Fig. 1 and Fig. 6 show the open position with separate magnetic strips 20, 21st
- Fig. 7 shows a closed position after first opening the bag pack 10th
- a special feature is the arrangement of a further closure means in the region of the bag opening 19, that is to say in the region of the opening strip 22.
- This is a connection of the front wall 13 and rear wall 14 which can be detached for the putting into use of the bag pack 10.
- the present exemplary embodiments are a sealed seam 24 in the "Peel Seal” version.
- the peel seal material is a waxy plastic, which is applied as a very thin sealing strip 25 on one side or on both sides on the inner sides of the front wall 13 and rear wall 14.
- the connection is made by heat and pressure.
- the additional closure means, that is, the sealing seam 24, on the one hand has the task of creating a (originally) completely tight pouch when the multiply acting closure means does not seal completely or leaves openings at the ends due to the dimension.
- the sealing seam 24 has a securing effect against unauthorized opening of the bag.
- this (second) closure member is located above the multiply acting (first) closure means, namely above the magnetic strips 20, 21. Accordingly, when the bag package 10 is opened, the sealed seam 24 is initially opened. Thereafter, the magnetic strips 20, 21 can be separated from each other ( Fig. 6 ). When re-closing only the magnetic strips 20, 21 are pressed together. In the area of the sealing seam 24, the sealing strips 25 remain without connection.
- the magnetic closure member may according to Fig. 13 Also be designed so that a magnetic strip 21 cooperates with a counter-strip 26 of ferromagnetic material.
- the magnetic strips 20, 21 are in the opposite direction in the region of edge strips, such that the oppositely poled areas are in the closed position to each other ( Fig. 15 ).
- the bag pack 10 works with a molding strip 27 as a reusable closure member.
- This wider molding strip 30, which is arranged only on one side of the bag opening 19, in particular on the rear wall 14, consists of a plastically deformable material, in particular of metal (aluminum alloy). Due to this material property, the molding strip 27 can be folded over with the layers of the opening strip 22 into a closed position (FIG. Fig. 10 ), which is kept stable.
- the molding strip 30 is bonded to the rear wall 14 by adhesion, but preferably by thermal sealing, wherein the molding strip 27 may optionally have a thermally activatable coating on one or both sides.
- the molding strip 27 extends here over the entire width of the bag, that is also in the region of the side seams 15, 16.
- the closure position is effected by folding over the opening strip 22 approximately centrally in the region of the molding strip 27, so that the latter receives a U-shaped folding position ( Fig. 10 ).
- a second closure member is provided, namely a connecting strip 28, which is arranged on the inside in the region of the opening strip 22, in particular opposite to the forming strip 27 (FIG. Fig. 9 ).
- the connecting strip 28 is made of a material which can be connected to the molding strip 27 due to heat and / or pressure and is ineffective after first opening. In particular, therefore, the connecting strip 28 is made of peel seal material.
- the bag pack 10 according to Fig. 4 is designed in a special way.
- the multiple-acting closure member consists of two elastic, but relatively stiff support strips 29, 30, in particular made of plastic or metal (steel).
- the two support strips 29, 30 are mounted in the region of the bag opening 19 on the inside of the front wall 13 and rear wall 14 between the side seams 15, 16.
- the ends can be supported on each other ( Fig. 12 ).
- the operation of this closure member looks so that in the transverse direction (arrow 31) pressure is exerted on the ends of the support strips 29, 30, so that they bulge outwards under elastic deformation. It is thereby exposed a corresponding bag opening 19.
- By relieving the ends return the support strips 29, 30 due to the elasticity in the starting position back, in which they are sealingly against each other.
- this embodiment is provided with a second closure means, namely a sealing seam 24 with peel seal effect above the support strips 29, 30.
- a special feature is the production of the bags or the attachment of the closure strip.
- a continuous (film) web 32 is processed or processed for the bags.
- the web 32 is transported with the inside facing up.
- a first step which can be used in the field of local bagging machine, but alternatively already in a plant for the production of the web 32, two continuous strips of sealable or adhesive material (peel seal) are applied to form the two sealing strips 25th
- the sealing strips 25 are applied with a thin layer thickness, so that the web 32 can be available wound with the sealing strips 25 as a reel.
- the closure means intended for multiple use is applied in the area of a bagging machine to the web 32, which may have been prepared in the above sense.
- Strip-shaped pieces 33, 34 are applied as a closure strip with distance from each other on the web 32 and connected thereto.
- the pieces 33, 34 are arranged at a transverse distance from each other, so that after folding the web 32 to form a continuous cover and creating the continuous bottom edge 12, the associated pieces 33, 34 as a closure to each other ( Fig. 17 ).
- the transverse side seams 15, 16 are applied. Thereafter, or at the same time, the bag packages 10 are separated from the web 32. In the open bag, the tobacco portion 11 is now introduced ( Fig. 18, Fig. 19 ). Thereafter, the closure is made, at least by the organs or pieces 33, 34, preferably by additionally connecting the sealing strips 25 of the sealed seam 24. The bag package 10 is ready for use.
- FIG. 21 Another special feature are units or aggregates of a device.
- the device according to Fig. 21 is the schematic representation according to Fig. 16 assigned.
- a continuous strip 35 in particular of a reel 36th is withdrawn, the pieces 33, 34 are separated in the region of a cutting unit.
- the strip 35 is supplied to the periphery of a cutting roller 37 for this purpose.
- This has (two) blades 38 which cooperate with the rotation of the cutting roller 37 with a fixed counter blade 39 and each piece 33, 34 separated from the strip 35. Due to the rotational speed of the cutting roller 37, the severed piece 33, 34 is accelerated, so that when placed on the running below the cutting roller 37 web 32 of the desired distance between successive pieces 33, 34 is provided.
- the path 32 provided with the (closure) pieces 33, 34 is deflected after transport about along a quarter circle on the circumference of the cutting roller 37 of this and transferred to the periphery of a second roller, namely a heating roller 40.
- the two rollers 37 and 40 are arranged with their lateral surfaces immediately adjacent to each other.
- a wedge-shaped deflecting member 41 in the region of the smallest distances of the lateral surfaces from each other causes the transfer of web 32 and with the pieces 33, 34 on the circumference of the heating roller 40th
- the continuous unit of web and (closure) pieces 33, 34 is pressed against the heating roller 40 by a pressing member, which extends over a larger peripheral region of the heating roller 40.
- a pressing member which extends over a larger peripheral region of the heating roller 40.
- This is a pressing belt 42 with a strand 43 which fits against the circumference of the heating roller 40.
- the surface of the heating roller 40 can be heated by means of two heating strips 44, 45 extending along a portion of the circumference.
- this device heat and / or pressure is transferred to the web 32 in the region of the pieces 33, 34 due to a corresponding arrangement of the heating strips 44, 45.
- the device is therefore suitable for all closure means which are heated and / or pressed against the web 32 are fixed. If magnetic strips 20, 21 are concerned, they are magnetized after leaving the roll 40 in the region of a horizontal conveying section of the web 32 by an activating element 46, namely by a magnetizing coil.
- the so-equipped web 32 can now be further processed in the manner described.
- Fig. 25 for attaching two parallel closure elements or pieces 33, 34, two cutting rollers 37 at a corresponding distance from each other arranged above the track 32.
- the cutting rollers 37 have suction holes 47 for fixing the strip 35 and the pieces 33, 34 on the circumference of the cutting roller 37.
- Fig. 26 shows a cross-sectional detail of the heating roller 40. This common for both pieces 33, 34 heating roller 40 is formed with a corresponding axial dimension. Heating strips 44, 45 are arranged at an axial distance from each other according to the distances of the pieces 33, 34. Each heating bar is associated with an (electric) heating element 48.
- Fig. 22 shows a device for applying self-adhesive (closure) pieces 33, 34 to the web 32.
- the strip 35 may be provided on the side provided with a self-adhesive coating with a cover strip 49, which prior to transmission of the strip 35 to the periphery the cutting roller 37 is withdrawn and conveyed away.
- a cover strip 49 instead of the cover strip 49, the non-glued side of the strip 35 with a gluing-preventing coating, for. B. a barrier paint, be provided.
- the self-adhesive pieces 33, 34 are placed on the web 32 by the cutting roller 37 in the manner described. After the cutting roller 37, an activation can take place, in the case of magnetic strips 20, 21 by means of an activation element 46.
- closure members namely strips or pieces 33, 34 processed, which are provided with a thermally activatable coating, for. B. with hotmelt.
- the outwardly directed coating in the region of the cutting roller 37 is activated by a stationary heating source 50.
- the relevant piece 33, 34 is applied to the web 32.
- FIG. 24 Another special device is in Fig. 24 shown.
- the closure member to be attached or the closure strip (s) extend over the full width of the bag.
- the closure means can therefore be withdrawn as a continuous belt 56 from a reel and fed to the web 32.
- Both, namely web 32 and belt 56 are guided via a deflection roller 57 to the periphery of a connecting roller, namely heating roller 40.
- This is provided with a circulating (electric) heating element, namely a heating strip 58.
- This extends in the region of the belt 56, so that the belt 56 - optionally with coating - is sealed to the web 32 by transfer of heat and pressure.
- a Andschreibband 42 is also provided here, the run 43 extends over a wide range of the circumference of the heating roller 40.
- a lower deflecting roller 59 guides the now connected unit of web 32 and belt 56 back into a horizontal plane. This device is particularly suitable when using a molding strip 27 as a closure means. In the thus formed web 32, the continuous belt 56 is severed with ( Fig. 17 ).
- a sealing seam 24 is provided as the second closure means, it will be provided in the region of the device according to FIG Fig. 27 activated or closed.
- the finished, filled bags are in position according to Fig. 20 During a standstill phase of the bag pack 10, heat and pressure are transmitted at least in the region of a closure member, in particular in the region of the sealing seam 24, by a sealing piece 53, which can be lowered from above onto the pouch pack 10 is for transfer of heat and pressure.
- a support 54 Opposite to the strip-shaped sealing piece 53 is a support 54 as a counter-pressure member below an upper run of the conveyor belt 52.
- the support 54 is at least partially made of elastic material. After leaving the sealing unit 51, the bag packages 10 are completed or closed. In one embodiment of a bag package 10 according to Fig. 3 such as Fig. 8 to Fig. 10 for example, the connection between the molding strip 27 and the connection strip 28 of thermally activatable material is also analogous by means of a device Fig. 27 produced.
- FIGS. 28 to 31 A particular type of bag pack 10 and the manufacture as claimed are disclosed in U.S.P. FIGS. 28 to 31 shown.
- two closure means of different type and mode of action are arranged in the area of the bag opening 19, that is to say between the front wall 13 and the rear wall 14, two closure means of different type and mode of action are arranged. It is on the one hand to a zip-lock closure 60 and the other to a continuous sealing seam 61.
- the zip lock closure 60 consists of two profile strips 62, 63 which are internally connected to the front wall 13 on the one hand and the rear wall 14 on the other hand, in each case via upper and lower connecting seams 64, 65.
- the second closure means is the sealing seam 61 which is easily detachable (by hand), in particular in the form of a peel seal.
- the sealing seam 61 is attached above the zip-lock closure 60, adjacent to a free edge of the front wall 13. This can be detected when opening the bag package 10 for the first time to separate the sealed seam 61. Thereafter, then the zip-lock closure 60 can be separated for the removal of the bag contents.
- a feature of this bag package 10 is that the sealing seam 61 extends over the full width of the front wall 13 and rear wall 14, thus also in the region of the side seams 15, 16 to create a tight bag closure.
- the profile strips 62, 63 and their connecting seams 64, 65 also extend over the full width of the bag.
- a special feature is the shortened design of the zip-lock profiles 66, 67, such that they end with (small) distance from the side seams 15, 16.
- Fig. 29 For this purpose, for example, a semicircular punching 68 in the profile strips 62, 63 attached to both ends, and substantially in the area of the zip-lock profiles 66, 67. In the region of the punched 68 and the recess formed thereby in the Profile strips 62, 63 are the bag walls, ie front wall 13 and rear wall 14, connected by the side seams 15, 16 directly by thermal sealing.
- a special feature is the production of the package.
- a continuous, in particular wound as a reel of material sheet 69 of thermally sealable film is provided.
- This is provided in a first step, especially in the factory production, with suitably positioned seam strip 70, 71.
- the seam strips 70, 71 have a significantly greater width than the sealing seam 61 to be produced later. Due to the greater width, inaccuracies in the application of the sealing elements or sealing jaws for producing the sealed seam 61 can be compensated.
- the sealed seam 61 should lie approximately in the middle of the adjoining seam strips 70, 71.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a bag package of film or the like for bulk materials or fibrous material, in particular for a tobacco portion as package contents, consisting of at least three sides interconnected front wall and rear wall, which define an (upper) bag opening.
Priority is given to the design and manufacture of bag packages for cut tobacco. The bag consists of a particular thermally sealable film, possibly multi-layered or multi-layered. The known tobacco pouches are predominantly designed so that an elongated, strip-shaped blank of the film is folded along a bottom edge to form a pocket and front wall and rear wall, which are connected to (upright) sides by side seams or by foldable side walls. The rear wall usually has an extension to form a winding flap or envelope flap, which bears against the front wall of the bag when the bag is closed and, if necessary, is detachably connected thereto.
The invention has the object of providing such bag packages in such a way that the bag opening before the first use tightly sealed and then easy handling during repeated opening and closing is guaranteed, the structure of the bag in the opening area should be stable and durable.
- a) in the region of the bag opening, a first, multiple-acting closure member and a second closure member are mounted, which completely and tightly closes the bag opening before first opening,
- b) the first, multi-acting closure member is a zip-lock closure with zip-lock profile strips having on the front wall and rear wall in the bag opening,
- c) the two opposite Zip-Lock profiles of the profile strips terminate at a distance from the side seams, in particular due to a punched at the ends of the profile strips in the area of the Zip-Lock profiles.
The Zip-Lock strips are an easy-to-use and multi-acting, tight closure. Due to the special design of the ends of these Zip-lock strips, namely by the punched in the area of Zip-Lock profiles, on the one hand dense and durable, loadable opening of the bag is created, in particular by the direct connection of the front wall and rear wall thermal sealing in the field of punching.
A special feature is the method for producing such bag packages. The Zip-Lock profiles are each applied as a continuous belt on a continuous material web and accurately connected to this. The continuous band of the profile strips is provided with preferably circular punches, which are arranged in the width of a bag package corresponding distances from each other. Here, after completion of a material web with the profile strips and continuous pockets, a transverse separation takes place, specifically in the center of the circular punches.

A special feature is the arrangement of a further closure means in the region of the

The thus prepared

In the open bag packages 10, the
