De plus, du fait que le têton 33 est solidaire du clip 24 on assure la constance de la liaison entre la tige de manoeuvre 4 et la béquille 3. Après montage ces moyens de liaison élastiques et notamment le clip 24 sont situés soit entre la rosette de fixation 6 et la rosette de recouvrement 12 soit entre la plaque de fixation 8 et la plaque de recouvrement 14 (voir figures 1 et 2). En raison de l'élasticité du clip 24, il importe peu, d'une part, le sens d'engagement du têton 33 et, d'autre part, l'orifice 35 ainsi que le trou borgne 37 peuvent être de côté voir même en dessous sans qu'il y a risque de rupture de la liaison entre la tige carré de manoeuvre 4 et la béquille 3. Claims (13)

  1. Opening handle for a door, French window or the like, comprising, on the one hand, a set of crutch-handles each provided with a fixing member fixed onto the inner and outer faces of the door, French window or the like and a covering member made integral with the fixing member, at least one of these fixing members including tightening means exerting a tractive force on both crutch-handles and, on the other hand, a square operating rod passing straight through the door, French window or the like and allowing to actuate at least one locking member, both ends of this square operating rod being engaged into square holes made in the shaft of each crutch-handle, characterized in that at least one crutch-handle (2) is provided with means (19) for compensating the differences in thickness of the doors, French windows or the like and the other one (3) is provided with elastic connecting means (24) co-operating with one end (38) of the square operating rod (4).
  2. Opening handle according to claim 1, characterized in that the tightening means (39) are located between the fixing member (5, 7) and the covering member (11, 13) and protected against any outer factor.
  3. Opening handle according to claim 1, characterized in that the tightening means (39) are at least a springy washer (39) arranged in a recess (40, 42) made in the outer face (41, 43) of the fixing member (5, 7) and co-operating with either the compensating means (10) or with a shoulder (23) located between the shaft (17) and a bearing surface (21) made at the end (22) of the shaft (17) of the crutch-handle (2).
  4. Opening handle according to claim 3, characterized in that the recesses (40, 42) include, at their entrance (44, 45), a step-shaped circular narrowing (46, 47) for holding the springy washer or washers (39) in said recesses (40, 42).
  5. Opening handle according to claim 1, characterized in that the compensating means (19) are located between the fixing member (5, 7) and the covering member (11, 13).
  6. Opening handle according to claims 1, 3 and 5, characterized in that the compensating means are a ring (19) engaged onto the bearing surface (21) of the shaft (17) of the crutch-handle (2) and co-operating, on the one hand, with their shoulder (22) of the bearing surface (21) and, on the other hand, with the springy washer (39).
  7. Opening handle according to claim 6, characterized in that the ring (19) has a thickness (20) corresponding to the difference between the standardized thickness and the actual thickness of the door, French window or the like.
  8. Opening handle according to claim 1, characterized in that the springy connecting means (34) integral with the shaft (30) of the crutch-handle (3) are located between the fixing member (6, 8) and the covering member (12, 14).
  9. Opening handle according to claims 1 and 8, characterized in that the springy connecting means are a clip (24) made of a spring steel sunk in a circular groove (29) made in the shaft (30) of the crutch-handle (3).
  10. Opening handle according to claim 1, characterized in that the circular groove (29) has a width at least equal to the width of the clip (24) and a depth such that the outer face (31) of the body (28) of the clip (24) is flush with the outer periphery (32) of the shaft (30) in order to allow the movement of the covering member (12, 14).
  11. Opening handle according to claim 9, characterized in that the inner face (34) of the clip (24) includes a stud (33) passing through a hole (35) made in the bottom (36) of the circular groove (29) of the shaft (30) of the crutch-handle (3) and engaging into a blind hole (37) made in the free end (38) of the square operating rod (4).
  12. Opening handle according to claim 11, characterized in that the stud (33) has a diameter equal to the width of the clip (24).
  13. Opening handle according to claim 11, characterized in that the hole (37) is a blind hole.
