Claims (16)

  1. Closure device, particularly for a door, comprising
    a lock (103),
    an edge-plate (2) having at least one aperture (23) and a support plate (20) fixed to the edge-plate,
    a dead bolt (6) arranged to slide in the said aperture (23) between a retracted position and a projecting position and
    a locking organ (30), arranged to lock the bolt (6) in each of its positions,
    characterised by the fact that the dead bolt (6) has a substantially cylindrical shape with a shoulder (79) from which extends a longitudinal recess (78) defined longitudinally by a substantially flat lateral surface (98), which is substantially parallel with the support plate (20) and which has a predetermined number of notches (68) which are axially aligned at least partially and substantially in the above-mentioned lateral surface (98) of the bolt (6),
    by the fact that the locking organ (30) consists of a plate (34) which has a tongue (35) projecting relative to the plate (34), the tongue (35) being arranged to engage in one of the notches (68) of the bolt (6),
    and by the fact that the said support plate (20) comprises
    a guide (36) in which the locking organ (30) is arranged to slide in the recess (78), between the said lateral surface (98) of the dead bolt (6) and the guide (36),
    and a guiding element (26) for the dead bolt (6) arranged aligned with the said aperture (23) and by the fact that the lock (103) comprises a cylinder (103') on which is provided a driving dog (105) which is rotatably arranged to push back the locking organ (30) into the withdrawn position.
  2. Closure device as described in the preceding claim,
    characterised by the fact that the said tongue (35) extends at a gradient of a certain angle (α) relative to the plate (34), being attached to it in at least an interior zone (91, 92) of the latter (34), and by the fact that a return means (39) is provided to engage the said tongue (35) in one of the said notches (68) under the influence of the above-mentioned return means (39).
  3. Device as described in the preceding claim,
    characterised by the fact that the said notches (68) extend by one of their respective ends from the upper rim edge of the said lateral surface (98) of the dead bolt (6) in correspondance with the tongue (35).
  4. Closure device as described in claim 3,
    characterised by the fact that the notches (68) are slightly widened out at the level of the said upper rim edge.
  5. Closure device as described in one of the preceding claims, characterised by the fact that the tongue (35) is arranged on a median axis of the plate (34).
  6. Closure device as described in one of the preceding claims, characterised by the fact that the tongue (35) is stamped from the plate (34) without removal of material.
  7. Closure device as described in one of the preceding claims, characterised by the fact that the said lock (103) consists of a security lock.
  8. Closure device as described in one of the preceding claims, characterised by the fact that the dead bolt (6) has at least two grooves (61, 62, 63), which are axially aligned and which extend transversally relative to the axis of the dead bolt (6) opposite the driving dog (105) and practically opposite the notches (68), so as to permit engagement of the driving dog (105) in one of the grooves (61, 62, 63).
  9. Closure device as described in any one of the preceding claims, comprising at least one handle cooperating with a pivoting part and a latch-bolt (5), a second return means (59) intended to act on the latch-bolt (5), which is arranged to co-operate with the pivoting part (3), characterised by the fact that a control organ (50) is arranged in one piece with the pivoting part (3) so as to act on the latch-bolt (5), by the fact that the latch-bolt (5) is provided with first engagement means (58) and the control organ (50) with second engagement means (51), the above-mentioned first and second engagement means consisting of a predetermined number of notches (58) which are aligned along the longitudinal axis of the latch-bolt (5) on the one hand and of a predetermined number of teeth (51) complementary to the notches on the other, these latter (51) being arranged to engage in the above-mentioned notches (58), under the influence of the handle or one of the handles (101, 102) by means of the above-mentioned second return means (59) so as to displace the latch-bolt (5) between a projecting rest position and a retracted position.
  10. Device as described in the preceding claim,
    characterised by the fact that the above-mentioned control organ (50) is formed of a toothed wheel comprising a cylindrical outer section (49) defined by two practically parallel sides, the said wheel being attached by one of the above-mentioned sides to the pivoting part (3) forming a hub so as to form an annular groove (53) in which the second return means (59) is housed, and by the fact that the above-mentioned teeth (51) are radially distributed over a part of the outer periphery of the above-mentioned cylindrical section (49).
  11. Closure device as described in one cf claims 9 or 10, characterised by the fact that the first and second return means are attached to each other so as to form a single return means (59, 39), the first elastic return means consisting of a spring in the shape of a hair-pin with two arms (31, 32) and the second return means (59) consisting of a helical spring which is wound concentrically around the pivoting part (3) in the above-mentioned annular groove (53), one of the arms (32) of the second return means (39) being attached to one of the ends of the first return means (59) and the free end zone of the other arm (31) acting on the above-mentioned tongue (35).
  12. Closure device as described in any one of the preceding claims, characterised by the fact that each above-mentioned guiding element (22, 26, resp.) of the respective bolt (5; 6) is formed of a guiding eyelet attached to the support plate (20), at the edge of the latter (20) which is opposite to that to which the edge-plate (2) is attached.
  13. Device as described in any one of the preceding claims, characterised by the fact that an additional guiding eyelet (25; 26) is provided for each bolt in he extension of each bolt passage (21; 23).
  14. Closure device as described in any one of the preceding claims, characterised by the fact that the edge-plate (2) is mounted, by at least one fixing sleeve (111; 112), on a support tube (4), particularly of a door, which has a determined section and which is drilled with at least a pair of mutually opposed openings (41, 42; 43, 44), each pair being in alignment with the respective aperture (21; 23) provided in the edge-plate (2), so as to permit the passage of each bolt (5; 6) through the support tube (4), each fixing sleeve (111, 112) being fastened in each above-mentioned aperture (21; 23) in the edge-plate (2) while passing through the pair or pairs of opposed openings (41, 42; 43, 44) in the support tube (4).
  15. Closure device as described in the preceding claim, characterised by the fact that each sleeve (111, 112) has at its free end a first engagement means (113) intended to co-operate with an external fastening key (107) provided with at least one corresponding second engagement means (108).
  16. Closure device as described in any one of the preceding claims, characterised by the fact that it comprises an integrated case (1) having a flattened box shape provided on one of its lateral faces (16) with an elongate opening (19) arranged to receive the edge-plate (2).
