Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a frame construction, in particular for glass roofs and glass facades according to the preamble of the main claim.
Known fastenings of glass facades on metal structures consisting of square tubes provide that a screw runs through a cavity occurring at the junctures of several glass surfaces into the metal tube structure provided with an aluminum profile. The screw is guided through a cover shell or metal rail arranged on the outer surface of the glass facade and runs through a sealing strip located between the cover shell and the glass pane and the cavity into an aluminum profile formed on the tubular structure.
A disadvantage of this type of fastening is, in particular, that the arrangement of the aluminum profile on the pipe construction required for securing the fastening is very costly and a continuous cooling and heating channel is created by the screw that runs right into the pipe construction. Its emergence cannot be eliminated by PVC insulators, which include screws.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a frame construction for glass roofs and glass facades or the like which ensures inexpensive fastening and prevents the formation of a continuous cooling and heating duct.
This object is achieved by the features specified in the main claim. Since the screw, which is guided through the metal rail from the outside, opens into a receiving block in the cavity and is therefore not carried out as far as the metal pipe construction, the formation of a continuous cooling and heating channel is prevented. Resistant attachment of the glass surfaces to the frame structure is ensured by the fact that through the bottom of a profile strip, in which the receiving block lies, a further screw leads through the sealing strip located there into the pipe structure.
Additional sealing measures are therefore no longer necessary. This also opens up the possibility of a robust attachment to a metal construction consisting of square tubes, without the need for special, costly aluminum profiles provided for receiving the screw.
The receiving block of the screw receiving element advantageously consists of nylon reinforced with glass fiber. On the one hand, this material has an insulating and a non-heat-conducting effect, on the other hand there is one permanent anchoring of the screw in the hole provided in the mounting block is guaranteed.
The secure anchoring of the rectangular receiving block is also ensured by the outer ribs located thereon, which engage in a form-fitting manner in the ribs located on the inner wall of the profile strip.
The outer ribs located on the receiving block and the inner ribs located on the inner wall of the profile strip are angled in such a way that a barb effect is achieved by them. After the mounting block has been installed in the profile strip screwed to the pipe structure, the receiving block is secured against slipping out of the profile strip by the interlocking interlocking of the outer ribs of the mounting block angled towards the opening of the profile bar into the inner ribs pointing towards the bottom of the profile bar.
Advantageous developments of the invention are characterized in the remaining subclaims.

- Figure 4 shows a cross section of the receiving block.
Die an den Aufnahmeblöcken 4 angeordnete Bohrung 5 dient zur späteren Einführung der durch eine Metallschiene geführten Schraube.FIG. 1 shows the screw receiving element mounted on a partial section of a
The
