Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for transporting a package of bobbins from at least two yarn packages to a twisting machine, with the features from the preamble of claim 1 and a bobbin transport adapter with the features from the preamble of claim 4.
  • a method and a device for transporting thread delivery bobbins are known (DE 38 11 667 A1) in which two yarn bobbins are attached to a common hollow bobbin transport adapter which has a gripping head at its upper end for attaching a bobbin gripper. Before the transport, the thread ends of the bobbins are wound in several turns on a part of the outer surface of the bobbin transport adapter.
  • a bobbin transport adapter is also known (GB-A-1131699) in which the thread ends of the bobbins are held in place at the upper end of the bobbin transport adapter by an elastic clamping ring.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a method for transporting a package of at least two bobbins to a twisting machine of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, in which the thread ends of all bobbins of the package in all stages of transport a defined fixed position take so that on the one hand no thread ends fall off during the transport process and on the other hand at the end of the transport process all thread ends can be automatically detected together and thus a functional presentation of the thread ends for the further work process is possible. Furthermore, it should be prevented that the fixed position of the thread ends disrupts the use of a drain head to be plugged onto the head piece of the bobbin transport adapter.
  • Claim 4 describes and claims a coil transport adapter for performing the method according to the invention.
  • Claims 5 to 8 describe advantageous developments of the device according to claim 4.
  • the basic idea of the method according to the invention is based, in a known manner, on the yarn packages To connect the coil package to one another using a coil transport adapter.
  • the bobbin transport adapter is designed such that it is not removed from the package of bobbins after the transport process has ended, but rather connects the bobbins of the package of bobbins to one another even during the processing process.
  • This procedure opens up the possibility of arranging the thread ends of all the bobbins of the bobbin package once before the transport process inside the bobbin transport adapter and holding them there until the bobbin package is inserted into the spindle of the twisting machine. In this way, it is possible that regardless of the individual stations of the transport process and the type of transport system used, the thread ends of the yarn packages do not change their defined position together.
  • FIGS 1 to 5 serve to illustrate the method according to the invention, a coil adapter known per se being used.
  • FIG. 1 shows two single-wound cross-wound bobbins combined to form a package of bobbins, which as a pair of bobbins form the template for a double-wire twisting spindle.
  • the two reels 1.1 and 1.2 with their bobbin cores 1.3 and 1.4 are plugged onto a bobbin transport adapter 2, which has a flange 2.2 at its lower end on which the bobbin core 1.4 of the lower bobbin 1.2 is seated.
  • the coil transport adapter 2 has a head piece 2.1, which is provided on its outer circumference with a hat 2.11 for attacking a coil gripper described below.
  • the head piece 2.1 has on its inside below the upper edge an inward projection 2.12 for attaching the coupling element of a overhead conveyor described below.
  • the coil package 1 consisting of the two coils 1.1 and 1.2 is placed together with the coil transport adapter 2 on the hollow mandrel 3.2 of a preparation device 3.
  • the hollow mandrel 3.2 is in the base frame 3.1 of the preparation device 3 rotatably supported and driven by a round cord drive 3.3.
  • a suction nozzle 3.4 can be attached to its lower end.
  • the thread ends F1 and F2 are brushed using a brush 3.5, gripped by a suction device 3.6 and guided over the upper end of the head piece 2.1. Due to the action of the suction nozzle 3.6 attached to the hollow mandrel 3.2 below, the thread ends are then, as shown in FIG. 1, sucked into the interior of the bobbin transport adapter 2, where they remain during the entire transport process described below.
  • FIG. 2 shows the removal process of the coil package 1 from the hollow mandrel 3.2 of the preparation device 3 by means of a coil gripper 4.
  • the pincer-like gripping device 4.1 of the coil gripper 4 engages in the groove 2.11 on the coil transport adapter 2.
  • the coil package 1 is then, as shown in FIG. 3, suspended in a coil hanger 5.2, which is part of an overhead conveyor system 5.
  • the coil hanger 5.2 has a coupling element 5.5, which engages the coil transport adapter 2 behind the projection 2.12 in the head piece 2.1.
  • the thread ends F1 and F2 running over the upper edge of the head piece 2.1 are additionally clamped by the cone 5.4 which is disordered on the bobbin hanger 5.2.
  • the coil hanger 5.2 is guided over rollers 5.3 in a transport rail 5.1 of the transport system 5.
  • the coil gripper 4 is Coil transport adapter 2 detached.
  • Fig. 4 shows on the one hand a rail part 5.1 of the transport system 5 with the running, already empty, coil hanger 5.2, from which the coil package 1 was removed by means of the coil gripper 4. Furthermore, a second coil package 1 'on a coil hanger 5.2' can be seen hanging.
  • the bobbin gripper 4 acting on the head piece 2.1 with its gripping device 4.1, the bobbin 1 removed from the bobbin hanger 5.2 is inserted into a double-wire twist spindle 6.
  • the double-wire twisting spindle has a whorl 6.1, a turntable 6.2 with a thread storage disk, a protective pot 6.5 with a bottom 6.4, in which the hollow mandrel 6.3 is arranged axially, onto which the bobbin transport adapter 2 with the bobbin packet 1 is attached.
  • An injector through which the thread ends F1 and F2 are sucked into the interior of the spindle, is arranged in the hollow mandrel 6.3 in a manner not specifically shown. After insertion, the coil gripper 4 is detached from the transport adapter 2.
  • the transport system 7 has the advantage over a suspended conveyor that it can be inserted into a transport stream on a division basis.
  • the transport system also allows very simple switch constructions, so that the transport streams can be diverted very quickly, e.g. B. in repetitions or in waiting positions.
  • the coil transport adapter 2 is plugged onto the hollow mandrel 7.2 of a transport plate 7.3.
  • the transport plate running on the rail system 7.1 runs into a preparation device 8.
  • the preparation device 8 has a device 8.1 by means of which the transport plate 7.3 is raised slightly and thus detaches from the round cord drive 7.4.
  • a friction wheel drive 8.3 is placed against the outer surface of the transport plate 7.3, which rotates the transport plate 7.3.
  • the thread ends F1 and F2 are grasped by means of a brush 8.5 and a suction device 8.6 and guided over the upper end of the head piece 2.1 of the bobbin transport adapter 2.
  • a suction nozzle 8.4 which is rotatably mounted relative to the device 8.1 is attached and by means of the air flow the thread ends F1 and F2, as shown in FIG. 5, are introduced into the interior of the bobbin transport adapter 2, where they are held during the entire transport process are recorded.
  • the bobbin packet 1 can then be removed from the transport plate 7.3 and inserted into a double-wire twisting spindle 6, as described with reference to FIG. 4, by means of a bobbin gripper 4.
  • bobbin transport adapter it is described below that it may be advantageous to design the bobbin transport adapter so that the thread ends are not inserted into the interior of the bobbin transport adapter via the upper edge of the head piece.
  • Such bobbin transport adapters have the advantage that thread drain aids or avivir devices, which have to be plugged onto the head piece of the bobbin transport adapter as an additional adapter head, are not disturbed by the thread ends embedded in the central bore of the bobbin transport adapter. 1 to 5 must be before inserting an additional adapter head, for.
