Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Drehanoden-Röntgenröhre mit einem Gleitlager, insbesondere einem Spiralrillenlager, zur axialen Lagerung der Drehanode, das wenigstens zwei Lagerflächenpaare zur Aufnahme von in entgegengesetzten Richtungen wirkenden Axialkräften aufweist, von denen jedes zwei auf relativ zueinander drehbaren Lagerteilen befindliche, über ein Schmiermittel zusammenwirkende Lagerflächen aufweist, wobei das Spiralrillenlager über wenigstens eine Öffnung mit dem Vakuumraum der Röntgenröhre in Verbindung steht. Dadurch, daß im Bereich zwischen den Lagerflächenpaaren ein Schmiermittelreservoir vorgesehen ist, das mit dem Schmiermittel in den Lagerflächenpaaren in Verbindung steht und daß in dem feststehenden Lagerteil ein Kanal vorgesehen ist, der das Schmiermittelreservoir mit dem Vakuumraum der Röntgenröhre verbindet, wird erreicht, daß das Lager bei einem eventuellen Schmiermittelverlust nicht beschädigt wird.
