Definitions

  • the invention relates to a continuation display device in an elevator system, which is installed in the entrance paneling of a shaft door or a cabin door.
  • the lamps are installed in an element housing behind a small removable cover plate which is attached to the cladding panel.
  • the transparent arrow symbols are located in the removable cover plate and are positioned directly above the lamps.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to provide forward arrows for installation in door jambs without removable or pivotable cover plates and visible fastening elements. Furthermore, such continuation arrows should also be suitable for installation at other locations and should be possible both with sideways and with centrally opening doors.
  • Arrows can be installed in the shaft door or cabin door side posts as well as in the rear wall of the cabin as required.
  • the door jamb element can consist of a single piece, with a smooth, uninterrupted surface, as if no further arrows were installed. The only two openings for the arrow lenses are provided.
  • the lamp assembly can be glued to the inside of the post and contribute to its stiffening or can be attached to it with a minimal thickness of the post plate using welded-on bolts.
  • the upper and lower arrow lenses are each held between the post plate and a resilient pressure plate and are pressed by the latter into the arrow cutouts. If the arrow lenses are subjected to unintended force during assembly or during normal operation, they can move inwards without being damaged and then return to their normal position by spring force.
  • the lamps can be replaced and the lamp assembly is accessed from the outside of the door jamb.
  • the arrow openings become free and give access to the corresponding lamp and lamp assembly.
  • a lamp assembly since it is easily detachable, can be removed and replaced by a clear arrow opening.
  • the exemplary embodiment shows the installation of the device according to the invention in a cabin door jamb.
  • the principle of the invention can also be applied to any other placement location, e.g. in the floor door jamb.
  • the continuation arrows are attached in the cabin, there is no mention of cabin continuation arrows, since these, regardless of their location, always serve the same purpose, namely to announce the direction of travel to the boarding passenger when a cabin arrives.
  • FIG. 1 shows an elevator car 10 with the inventive installation of the continue arrows.
  • the cabin 10 consists of a base plate 12 with vertical wall parts standing thereon which form an enclosure 14 with the front, rear, first and second side walls 16, 18, 20 and 22.
  • the example shows the front wall 16 with the passenger entrance for a side opening Door, whereby the invention can also be applied to a centrally opening door.
  • In the continuation of the side wall 20 there is an entrance paneling 26 on one side of an entrance opening 24.
  • continue-on arrows 28 with up and down arrow lenses 30 and 32 are preferably installed in the entrance paneling 26 in order to be visible from the outside when the cabin arrives to be.
  • the forward arrows 28 can also be installed in a door jamb 39 of a door cover 40 if required. With the door opening centrally, arrows to continue the route would be installed in a door cover post.
  • a door 34 with, as required, one or more door elements is designed for guided horizontal movement via a door drive (not shown) and a door threshold 36 to open or close the entrance opening 24.
  • the front wall section with the door cover 40 also contains the through door fighter 38 at the top and a cabin panel installed in the door cover 40.
