Definitions

  • the invention relates to a spacer for the slat carrier of a vertical slat blind, consisting of an elongated, strip-shaped section which has at its end a connecting element for positive engagement with a slat carrier and a stop at its free other end, which can be guided in contact with the adjacent slat carrier is, the connecting element is provided on its side facing away from the disk carrier with two mutually opposite grooves, the spacing and width essentially corresponds to the dimensions of the strip-shaped section, as is known from DE-A-25 11 000.
  • Vertical blinds generally serve as sun and / or privacy protection, as well as a room divider for temporary sub or division of larger rooms.
  • the generally strip-shaped, vertically arranged slats which are generally made of textile material, are each fastened at their upper end to a slat carrier and can generally be pivoted about a central longitudinal axis, with a common pivoting of all slats of a vertical blind by means of a drive usually being possible.
  • the plate carriers are held in a mounting rail and can be moved along the mounting rail by means of a manual or motor drive. The pivoting and the movement can be carried out by two different drives or else by means of a drive.
  • the slats In the open position, in which the window or the like is not covered by the slats, the slats are moved together on one side to form a package, the slats running parallel to one another. If the window or the like is to be completely or partially covered by the slats of the vertical blind, the traversing drive is actuated. First, the first slat in front is set in motion. When the first lamella has reached the predetermined distance from the adjacent second lamella, the second lamella starts to move until all the lamellae have been moved and the window is covered accordingly. At the same time or subsequently, the slats can be pivoted about their longitudinal axes by means of the swivel drive.
  • the mutual distance between two adjacent slats in the extended state is dimensioned such that the slats overlap with their adjacent edge sections in the closed position in order to prevent incidence of light or insight from outside.
  • This mutual distance between two mutually adjacent slats is ensured by the spacers mentioned at the outset, which are each arranged between mutually adjacent slat carriers.
  • the connecting element is provided at the end of the strip-shaped section on the side facing the disk carrier with a projection which engages in a corresponding profile of the disk carrier.
  • the connecting element is provided at its edges with an upstanding flange which, in the assembled state, engages under correspondingly projecting flanges of the disk carrier, so that a firm, form-fitting connection between the spacer and the disk carrier is effected.
  • the strip-shaped section of the spacer of the second lamellar carrier slides under the aforementioned flanges of the first lamellar carrier until the stop at the free end of the spacer comes into contact with the flanges.
  • the second disk carrier is guided with the first at the distance determined by the spacer, with the now strip-shaped section of the third disk carrier slides under the flanges of the second disk carrier until its end stop comes into contact with the flanges, etc. This ensures that a uniform distance is maintained with simple means.
  • the spacer according to DE-A-25 11 000 of the type in question is releasably fixable at its holder end by means of a toggle or cross lock on a lamellar carrier and therefore easier to assemble compared to other known spacers or replaceable, without the risk of destruction or damage to the spacer because it is not guided on the disk carrier itself but in the preceding spacer, its stop arranged at the other end being hook-shaped, namely in the plane of the spacer bent approximately at a right angle, so that it can interact as a stop with a spacer that is maximally pulled apart as a stop with an end edge of a guide groove facing the hook-shaped stop section.
  • the invention has for its object to design the spacer of the type mentioned in such a way that a braking effect by spreading strip-shaped sections of the spacers within the mounting rail profile is not to be feared, while on the other hand the assembly is to be simplified considerably.
  • the connecting element of the spacer is preferred Provide in a manner known per se on its side facing away from the disk carrier with two mutually facing or opposing grooves, the spacing and width of which corresponds essentially to the dimensions of the strip-shaped section of the spacer.
  • the strip-shaped section of the following spacer can thus be guided in the grooves of the preceding one.
  • This effect is optimized by the preferred embodiment in that the base surface of the connecting element lying in the plate carrier is inclined to the longitudinal axis of the strip-shaped section.
  • the strip-shaped sections lie one on top of the other to form a compact package when the lamella carriers move together.
  • a suitable inclination between the base area and the strip-shaped section is between approximately 5 ° and approximately 10 °, 6 ° having proven to be particularly suitable.
  • the grooves preferably extend only over a partial area of the connecting element and expediently only over the front third. They are adapted to the inclination of the strip-shaped sections.
  • the lateral longitudinal tabs of the connecting element preferably run out to the rear end thereof. Lateral projections in the area of the connecting element engage in corresponding slots in the plate carrier.
  • locking lugs are provided on the side of the connecting element facing the plate carrier for positive engagement with the plate carrier. At least one of the locking lugs is expediently delimited on the outside by an inclined surface, which makes the latching process easier.
  • a transverse stop is advantageously provided, which can extend over the entire width of the connecting element. The transverse stop engages in a corresponding recess in the lamellar carrier, so that there is no fear of slipping even when there is an increased pull on the spacer. It has proven to be particularly advantageous to hold the spacers in a profile niche on the underside of the disk carrier. This results in an improved Utilization of the inner profile of the mounting rail.
  • the spacer shown in FIG. 1 and shown in its entirety with the reference number 10 is latched in the manner shown in a profile niche of a plate carrier generally designated 11.
  • the function of the slat carrier will be briefly explained below.
  • a vertical axis 13 is mounted in the housing 12, which carries a pinion 14, which is hereby made of the same material, in the middle region, while down a lamella bracket 15 protrudes beyond the housing 12.
  • a worm 16 which is driven manually or by a motor via a shaft is in engagement with the pinion 14. By rotating the worm 16, the angular position of the lamella holder 15 and, accordingly, the vertical lamella, not shown, can be adjusted.
  • Hook-shaped sliding projections 17, 18 and 19 engage correspondingly profiled sliding surfaces in the cross-sectional area of the mounting rail.
  • a cross bar 21 axially offset via a web 20 slides in a profile niche of the mounting rail and holds the housing in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the mounting rail and thus prevents tilting.
  • the spacer 11 shown in FIG. 2 comprises an elongated strip-shaped section 22, a front stop 23, and a fastening element 24, which will be explained in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5.
  • the spacer can also consist of metal, it is preferably made of plastic, since this is light, inexpensive and flexible, while it can also be subjected to the desired shape in a relatively simple manner.
  • the cross-sectional profile of the fastening element 24 results from the illustration according to FIG. 3.
  • the strip-shaped section 22 has double-sided bevels 25 along its longitudinal edges.
  • the section 22 is made of the same material as the stop 23 and the fastening element 24.
  • Lateral longitudinal flanges 26 and 27 protrude from the lower surface of the fastening element 24 and carry projections 28 and 29 which are directed inward along their outer edge and are essentially triangular in cross section.
  • the projections 28 and 29 only extend over approximately the first third of the longitudinal flanges 26 and 27, starting from the section 22.
  • the longitudinal flanges 26 and 27 run to rear end of the connecting element 24 out.
  • the connecting element 24 carries lateral longitudinal projections 30 and 31 which engage in corresponding grooves of the housing profile of the disk carrier 11 in order to produce a secure connection between the housing 12 of the disk carrier 11 and the spacer 10. Also contribute to this locking lugs 32 and 33, which protrude from the upper end surface 34 of the connecting element 24.
  • the front locking lug 32 has an oblique upper end surface which tapers towards the end surface 34.
  • a rear transverse stop 35 is provided on the upper end face 34, which extends over the entire width of the connecting element 24.
  • the detents 32 and 33 and the rear cross stop 35 are made of the same material with the entire spacer 10.
  • the strip-shaped section 22 of the spacer 10 is inserted into the profile niche of the disk carrier 11 from behind in accordance with the direction of the arrow 36.
  • the lateral longitudinal projections 30 and 31 of the connecting element 24 engage in lateral grooves in the profile niche of the plate carrier 11.
  • the front detent 32 which yields resiliently together with the connecting element 24 as a result of the elasticity of the material, slides over a projection of the profile recess of the disk carrier and engages behind it, the transverse stop 35 coming into contact with a corresponding stop of the profile recess.
  • the upper end face 34 of the connecting element 24 encloses an angle ⁇ of approximately 6 ° with the longitudinal axis of the strip-shaped section 22, as is indicated in FIG. 5.
  • the strip-shaped sections of all spacers lie in a lamellar manner, one above the other, in the case of lamellar carriers brought together in a package.
  • the strip-shaped section of the following spacer slides or lies in the grooves 37 and 38 of the connecting element formed by the longitudinal projections 28 and 29.
  • the spacer 10 for better packaging before installation and before releasing from the spacer "package” is designed so that the individual spacers are particularly easy to connect by slightly bending the connecting element 24. For this reason, the arrangement is such that the main plane of the connecting element 24 extends at an acute angle of a few degrees to the plane of the strip-shaped section 22.
  • strip-shaped section 22 is provided with recesses 39 on its end section carrying the connecting element 24 at a distance from its end there on its two longitudinal edges.
