Claims (13)

  1. Procédé pour empiler des produits d'imprimerie pliés tels que des journaux, des revues ou analogues, qui consiste à former successivement, à partir de respectivement un nombre déterminé de produits d'imprimerie (32) amenés avec l'un des bords latéraux (30) contre une butée (20) d'un compartiment de pré-empilage (14), des piles préliminaires (60, 60', 60") qui sont ensuite déposées sur un organe d'appui (54) ou sur des piles préliminaires déjà placées sur ledit organe d'appui, puis compressées, la pile terminée (62) constituée d'au moins deux piles préliminaires étant finalement évacuée de l'organe d'appui, caractérisé en ce que les produits d'imprimerie (32) sont amenés avec leur pli (30) dirigé vers l'avant contre la butée (20), que pendant l'empilage dans le compartiment de pré-empilage (14), au moins les produits d'imprimerie (32) formant la pile préliminaire supérieure (60") de la pile terminée sont soutenus sensiblement au milieu dans la seule zone du bord (38) opposé au pli (30), et que la pile terminée (62) est évacuée sans compression préalable de la pile préliminaire supérieure (60").
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que, lors de la formation de la totalité des piles préliminaires (60, 60', 60"), les produits d'imprimerie (32) sont soutenus sensiblement au milieu dans la zone du bord (38) opposé au pli (30).
  3. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que les piles préliminaires (60, 60', 60") sont déposées respectivement avec un décalage de 180° sur la pile préliminaire (60, 60') formée en dernier sur l'organe d'appui (54).
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que l'élément d'appui (35) comprend un organe de soutien (42) qui est monté de manière pivotante sur un axe (40) sensiblement horizontal s'étendant transversalement à la direction d'amenée (F) et de préférence en amont du compartiment de préempilage (14), et peut être pivoté, à partir d'une position de soutien dirigée vers l'intérieur du compartiment d'empilage (14), vers le bas dans une position de repos (42') et inversement, l'organe de soutien (42) se trouvant de préférence, en position de repos, à l'extérieur du compartiment de préempilage (14).
  6. Dispositif selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que l'organe de soutien comprend un levier de support équipé de préférence de deux bras de support (42) sensiblement parallèles et disposés latéralement à distance l'un de l'autre.
  7. Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que l'organe d'appui (54) peut respectivement pivoter de 180° autour d'un axe vertical (57), de préférence à chaque fois dans des directions opposées (C).
  8. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 4 à 7, caractérisé en ce que le compartiment de pré-empilage (14) est disposé directement au-dessus de l'organe d'appui (54) et délimité en bas par un organe de fermeture (22) qui peut être retiré de la région du compartiment de pré-empilage (14) et à nouveau engagé dans celle-ci.
  9. Dispositif selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que l'organe de fermeture est constitué par au moins une plaque coulissante (22) déplaçable sensiblement dans le sens horizontal et parallèlement à la direction d'amenée (F).
  10. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 8 ou 9, caractérisé en ce que l'organe d'appui (54) est muni d'un système de montée et de descente (56) et forme, conjointement avec l'organe de fermeture (22), un dispositif de compression.
  11. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 8 à 10, caractérisé en ce que l'élément d'appui (35) est disposé à distance au-dessus de l'organe de fermeture (22).
