Definitions
- the invention relates to a snap cap made of plastic with tamper-evident protection for vessels, the mouth of which is provided with beaded edges. Due to the manufacture, glass bottles have a mouth opening that is dimensionally stable on the outside, but the inside diameter of which varies.
- the well-known screw caps made of plastic make use of this knowledge, which are provided on their lower edge with a tear-off ring that ensures originality.
- the plastic used to manufacture such screw caps may only have a slight elastic expansion, because otherwise the cap could be unscrewed without destroying the tamper-evident device.
- the plastic cap must be provided with an inwardly directed annular bead.
- the cap When a filled bottle is closed for the first time, the cap is pressed onto the bottle under high pressure, with the inward bead of the cap over the Bulge of the bottle snaps.
- plastic caps are known from Swiss Patent Nos. 417,378 and 553,696.
- the inward beaded edge of the cap serves as a tamper-evident device and is torn when it is opened for the first time. So that the bottle can still be closed after opening for the first time, the top surface of the cap is provided with an inwardly projecting pin.
- the invention has set itself the task of creating such a snap cap for a bottle with beaded edges, which does not require an inwardly projecting pin and nevertheless allows repeated closing and easier opening of the bottle opening after the first, easier opening while destroying the tamper-evident feature .
- the invention is based on the knowledge that, under certain circumstances, the inward bead of the cap can be used both as a tamper-evident device and as a closure element after opening for the first time.
- the prerequisite for this, however, is that a plastic which is customary for this purpose and has a low elastic expansion coefficient is used to manufacture the closure cap.
- the bottle mouth is then closed for the first time under such high pressure that the cap cannot be lifted by hand is.
- the invention solves the stated problem with a snap closure cap, which has the features of claim 1.
- 1 is the closure cap.
- this has a cover surface 8 and a downwardly projecting jacket 13 with two axially spaced ring regions 1a and 1b with bead-like inwardly projecting snap projections 2 and 3.
- These projections can be designed as a continuous annular bead or from individual projections in the circumferential direction are separate from each other. It is also possible to provide a ring area with a circumferential ring bead and the other ring area with individual projections in the form of a bead.
- the closure cap 1 also has a push-off element 4, which forms a jacket section of the closure cap. The push-off element 4 is laterally delimited by predetermined breaking lines 5 and 6.
- These predetermined breaking lines start from the lower edge 7 of the cap 1 and extend beyond the lower ring area 1b into the upper ring area 1a, where they extend up to approximately half of the snap projections 2 (see FIG. 2).
- the weak points 5 and 6 are arranged in the axial direction of the closure, thus parallel to one another.
- the lower ring area starting from the lower edge 7, becomes Cap 1, severed in the sense of a shearing movement, as a result of which the lower ring region or the ring bead 3 located there loses its tension on the bottle neck 15.
- the weak points on both sides of the push-off element 4 are torn open due to the notch effect of the weak points 5 and 6.
- the weak points 5 and 6 end halfway up the upper annular bead height 2. If the tension in the upper ring area 1 a is reduced, the cap can easily be lifted off the bottle neck 15, but so much residual tension remains that the tightness can be ensured if the cap is closed again.
- the push-off element 4 has a pusher 9 protruding from the casing of the cover 1, which is provided with at least one, but preferably three, ribs 10, 11 and 12. These ribs extend into the area of the film hinge 14 connecting the push-off element 4 to the jacket 13 of the closure.
- the pusher 9 When the pusher 9 is caused to tilt, the original pressure surface 17, which was directed downwards in the initial position, reaches the outside and the inward surface 18, which faces the bottle neck 15 was down and thus forms a new pressure surface 18, on which in turn a force can be exerted in the axial direction (see Figure 3). Since the first time the snap closure cap is opened, the pusher 9 is deformed in the sense of an outward folding, it is immediately apparent to the consumer that its originality is no longer present.
- the bottle neck 15 is designed such that the lower edge of the cap 1 comes to rest on a bead 16 of the bottle neck, so that the cap 1 cannot be gripped without the use of a special tool. The cap 1 can therefore only be lifted off via the push-off element.
- the ribs 10, 11 and 12 there can also be a continuous bar, the upper edge of which lies in the area of the film hinge 14 and protrudes from the jacket 13 at approximately a right angle.

Description
- Figur 1
- eine Vorderansicht einer auf einem Flaschenhals montierten, erfindungsgemäss ausgebildeten Schnappverschlusskappe im Bereich des Abdrückelementes;
- Figur 2
- einen Schnitt entlang der Linie II-II in Figur 1 in vergrössertem Masstab;
- Figur 3
- in einer Schnittdarstellung entsprechend Figur 2 die Schnappverschlusskappe in einer Stellung nach dem Betätigen des Abdrückelementes;
- Figur 4
- eine Draufsicht auf die in Figur 1 dargestellte Verschlusskappe, jedoch gegenüber der Darstellung in Figur 1 um 90° aufgeklappt;
- Figur 5
