Arranged between two parts (26, 28), which execute a movement relative to each other during the door movement, is a movement braking member (40), the braking force of which is directed counter to the closing movement. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a fitting for a corner cupboard, in particular a kitchen corner cupboard, which has a carousel containing at least one shelf with a rotatably mounted rotating column and a double-leaf door connected to it by means of a fitting linkage, the leaves of which, when opening and closing, have one with respect to the bisector of the corner of the door Execute mirror-image retracting or extending movement with superimposed radial retracting or extending movement and are held in the closed position by a spring device.

The two door wings fastened with the aid of such a fitting lie in the closed position with their edge region facing away from the corner formed by them against the end face of the facing side wall of the corner cupboard, so that the carousel can only be rotated when the two door panels are folded in and retracted radially so that they come free from the cabinet side walls. This takes place against the force of the spring device. If you then turn the carousel and, after setting or removing an object, the door leaves reach the cabinet opening again, the spring device tensioned in the open position becomes effective, so that the door leaves are automatically moved into the closed position closing the cabinet opening.

In known fittings of this type, as can be seen, for example, from DE-PS 30 49 114, the door experiences a strong acceleration when closing due to the spring action, so that the door leaves arrive at the closed position at a correspondingly high speed. In this case, relatively strong shocks or blows occur, which is not only loud but above all has the disadvantage that parts that meet and act as stops can be damaged over time in the closed position.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of creating a fitting of the type mentioned in which the occurrence of bumps or knocks is avoided when the door arrives in the closed position.

This object is achieved in that between two parts performing a relative movement to one another in the door movement a movement brake member is arranged, the braking force of the closing movement is opposite.

Thus, the closing movement does not snap, but is braked and thus damped, so that the door leaves move more slowly into the closed position. There is therefore a gentle closing of the door without noise and without impacts or bumps that promote wear.

The movement brake member is expediently arranged between two linkage parts.

Another expedient measure is that the movement brake member is arranged on the side of the bisector opposite the spring device. This is particularly cheap in terms of space.

If the fitting has a helical spring attached to both ends of a rod part as a spring device, the movement brake member can be attached to the fastening points for the helical spring. In this way, the fitting can either be equipped with a second coil spring or with the movement brake element according to the invention, if no value is placed on the damping of the closing movement. In other words, for example in the case of DE-PS 30 49 114, two helical springs are arranged symmetrically to the bisector of the angle, one of which can simply be omitted and the movement brake member used in its place, so that the fitting otherwise can be kept unchanged.

In a preferred embodiment it is provided that the outer end of a scissor lever is articulated to two pivoting parts of the linkage which are to be rigidly fastened to one of the door leaves, the two scissor levers intersecting on the bisector of the angle, rotatable at the intersection on one during the door movement are arranged along the bisecting axis and are extended beyond the crossing point so that they form two-armed levers, and that between the inner end of one scissor lever and the pivoting part to which the other scissor lever is articulated, or the other scissor lever in the pivoting part facing area the movement brake member is arranged.

The movement brake member is preferably arranged between two parts to be moved towards each other when the door is closed.

It is also advantageous that the movement brake member is a one-way brake member. The braking force then only occurs when the door is closed, so that the movement brake member does not inhibit the door opening.

The movement brake member is advantageously formed by a damping cylinder with a brake rod protruding in the axial direction at one end of the cylinder. Such movement brake members, which are regularly pneumatic or work hydraulically. Such damping cylinders are practically not subject to wear. Since they are commercially available as such, there are no separate development costs.

So that the movement brake member can freely follow the fitting movement, it should be articulated on both ends.

An embodiment of the invention will now be explained in detail with reference to the drawing. Show it:
  • 1 is a schematic plan view of a kitchen corner cabinet with the top cover removed,
  • 2 is a corner corner cabinet in vertical section along the line II-II in Fig. 3 in partial representation,

A kitchen corner cabinet 1 of a fitted kitchen contains a carousel 2 which has a rotatably mounted vertical rotating column 3. this rotary column 3 is on the one hand on the upper cover 4 of the corner cabinet, which is usually formed by a worktop, and on the other hand on the cabinet floor 5 stored. The carousel 2 can also contain at least one shelf 6, indicated by dashed lines in FIG. The interior of the corner cabinet 1 and thus also the carousel 2 is closed to the outside by a corner door 7, which consists of two door leaves 8, 9. These two door leaves 8, 9 enclose a larger angle of preferably 90 ° in the closed position (FIGS. 1 and 3) and a smaller angle in the open position (FIG. 4) than in the closed position. In the closed position, each wing 8 or 9 forms a right angle with the adjacent cabinet side wall 10 or 11, the wing 8 or 9 covering the side wall 10 or 11 on the end face. The carousel 2 or the compartments formed by the shelves 6 can optionally be divided into individual compartments by dividing walls indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 1.

The carousel 2 does not extend over a full circle. Rather, the carousel has a sector-shaped cutout 12 which expediently extends over a smaller angle than 90 ° and which, in the closed position of the door 7, is opposite the associated cabinet opening, the corner formed by the two wings 8, 9 protruding into this cutout 12. To open the door, the two door leaves 8, 9 are pressed inward toward the rotating column 3. Here, the two door leaves 8, 9, as can be clearly seen from a comparison of FIGS. 3 and 4, move in a mirror image onto the bisector (this falls in with the section line II-II Fig. 3 together) between the wings containing 8,9 vertical plane. Simultaneously with this retracting movement, they carry out a radial retracting movement further into the cutout 12. Reverse movements take place when the door 7 is closed. Since the pivoting movement of the sashes overlaps the bisector towards a radial movement inwards, the two door sashes 8, 9 are free of the side walls 10, 11 of the cabinet body in the open position. In the open position, the outer end edges 13, 14 of the wing are approximately at a distance corresponding to the radius of the carousel 2 from the rotating column 3, so that the door wings cannot brush against the cabinet side walls 10, 11 when the carousel is rotated.

To control the movement of the door leaves 8, 9 during opening and closing and to hold the leaves in the open position during the carousel rotation, a fitting with a fitting linkage to which the door leaves are attached is provided, which will now be described in detail.

19 hin.The fitting contains a first fitting unit 15, which is non-rotatably seated on the carousel and is in this case firmly connected to the rotating column 3, and a second fitting unit 16, which is fixedly attached to the cupboard body, in the exemplary embodiment on the cupboard base 5. The first fitting unit 15 contains a support unit seated on the rotating column 3, which essentially consists of two approximately at right angles to one another Directional, approximately radially protruding from the rotating column 3, the support arms 18, 19 is formed, wherein at the transition between the two support arms 18, 19, that is to say at the corner formed by them, a mounting sleeve 20 which is plugged onto the rotating column 3 and is fixed thereon is arranged. This support unit is located in the area of the cabinet base 5. At the free end of each support arm 18 or 19, a support part 23 or 24 acting as a lever is articulated via an axis of rotation 21 or 22, which protrudes towards the facing door leaf 8 or 9 and with this is rigidly connected by screwing. When the door is opened, the swivel parts 23, 24 pivot about the axes 21, 22 inwards towards the respective support arm 18 or 19.

A first scissor lever 26 is articulated on the swivel part 23 on an axis 25 facing the wing 8 and another, second scissor lever 28 is articulated on the swivel part 24 on an axis 27 facing the wing 9. The two scissors levers 26, 28 intersect on the bisector II-II. Viewed from the axis 25 or 27, the respective scissor lever 26 or 28 is angled in front of the intersection 29 to the respective other pivot part 24 or 23. At the intersection 29, the two scissors levers 26, 28 are arranged on a common axis 30. This axis 30 is extended downwards and also projects downward above the support arms 18, 19 arranged below the scissor levers 26, 28 and carries a guide roller 31 at the lower end about the common axis 30 also extends so that they form two-armed levers.

On the common axis 30 there is another lever, namely a guide lever 32 which is articulated on one of the support arms, in the exemplary embodiment on the support arm 18 on a pivot axis 33. It extends towards the bisector II-II and runs between the two scissor levers 26, 28 on the one hand and the plane of the support arms 18, 19 on the other hand. Its end opposite the pivot axis 33 is free. The guide arm 32 is approximately at right angles to the bisector II-II, so that the common axis 30 moves a little approximately linearly on the bisector when the guide arm 32 is pivoted.

It can be seen that when pressing against the two door leaves 8, 9 from the outside, the two pivot parts 23, 24 swivel inward about the axes 21, 22 and thereby take the scissors levers 26, 28, which simultaneously rotate about the common axis 30 which is shifted to the rotating column 3. As a result, the retracting movement overlaps the retracting movement of the door.

The other fitting unit 16 has an approximately disk-like shape and is firmly connected to the cabinet base 5. It has an outer annular projection 34 facing the first fitting unit 15, the radial one inner boundary surface forms a guide surface 35 which is assigned to the guide roller 31. In the area of the bisector II-II, the annular projection 34 has a radial slot 36. When the door is closed, the guide roller 31 is seated in this radial slot 36, so that the guide roller 31 and, via this, the entire carousel are secured against rotation. If the guide roller 31 comes free from the radial slot 36 when the door is opened, the carousel can be rotated. Here, the guide roller 31 rolls on the guide surface 35 of the second fitting unit 16. In this way, the fitting and the door are held securely in the open position during the carousel rotation. If the carousel is turned back into its starting position, the guide roller 31 can again engage the radial slot 36, so that the door can be closed.

So that the door closes automatically, a spring device is provided on the first fitting unit 15, which in the exemplary embodiment is formed by a helical spring 37. The helical spring 37 is fastened on the one hand on the swivel part 23 at a point 38 opposite the door leaf 8 with respect to the axis 21 and on the other hand at the point 39 on the inner end of the second scissor lever 28. The two fastening points 38, 39 are simply formed by holes into which the spring ends are suspended. Enlarged when opening the door the distance between the two fastening points 38, 39, the force of the helical spring 37 designed as a tension spring and holding the door in the closed position must be overcome. When the door is closed, the helical spring 27 pulls the two fastening points 38, 39 towards one another, so that the fitting linkage automatically executes the closing movement. Appropriately attached stops, for example offsets on the scissor levers 26, 28 that run against each other, can define the closed position.

In connection with the present invention, the fitting details described so far can also be designed differently. However, the described embodiment is advantageous.

It is essential first of all that to dampen the closing movement of the door 7, a movement brake member 40 is arranged between two parts which perform a relative movement with respect to the door movement, the braking force of which is counter to the closing movement. So while the force of the spring device 37 automatically causes the closing movement, the movement brake member 40 inhibits this movement, so that the door moves gently into the closed position.

One of the two parts, between which the movement brake member is arranged, can be stationary. This could be, for example, the rotating column 3 or the one essentially formed by the two support arms 18, 19 Carrier unit acts. However, at least one of the two parts on which the movement brake member is located must move when the door is closed. In principle, this could also be the door itself.

Expediently, however, the movement brake member 40 is arranged between two rod parts of the fitting. In the expedient embodiment, the movement brake member 40 is arranged between the inner end 26 'of a scissor lever 26 and the other scissor lever 28 in the area associated with this scissor lever 28 pivot portion 24. These two parts, i.e. the named ends of the two scissors levers 26, 28 move towards one another when the door is closed, as can be easily illustrated with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4. Instead of the scissors lever 28, the end of the movement brake member 40 assigned to this could also be attached to the swivel part 24 and preferably at a point opposite the door leaf 9 with respect to the axis 22, e.g. fasten at 41. It would also be possible to arrange the movement brake member between two parts that move away from each other when the door is closed. In both cases, however, it is advantageous that the movement brake member 40 is a one-way brake member.

The movement brake member 40 shown is formed by a damping cylinder with a brake rod 42 protruding in the axial direction at one cylinder end. Such damping cylinders are known per se, so that a detailed description is unnecessary. In principle, it is a matter of the fact that within the damping cylinder 40 filled with a pressure medium there are two cylinder spaces separated from one another by a piston seated on the brake rod 42, the pressure medium moving the brake rod 42 in one direction via a flow resistance from one cylinder space into the reaches the other cylinder space, while when the brake rod 42 is moved in the opposite direction, the pressure medium flows practically without resistance from the other cylinder space into one cylinder space.

The end of the damping cylinder 40 opposite the brake rod 42 is articulated on the first scissor lever 26 via the pivot axis 43. The free end of the brake rod 42 is articulated on the second scissor lever 28 on the axis 43. Regardless of the design of the movement brake member in detail, it is expedient that it is articulated at both ends so that it can participate in the fitting movement.

In the exemplary embodiment, the brake rod 42 is inserted into the damping cylinder 40 when the door is closed, i.e. the damping cylinder is effective in this direction.

From the above it can be seen that the movement brake member 40 is arranged on the side of the bisector II-II opposite the spring device 37. Thus, the coil spring 37 and the movement brake member 40 interfere not mutual.

The lever arm of the first scissor lever 26 facing the movement brake member 40 is longer than the lever arm of the second scissor lever 28 facing the coil spring 37. However, these two lever arms could also be of the same length, i.e. in the exemplary embodiment, the lever arm of the first scissor lever 26 which faces the movement brake member 40 can also be made shorter if the movement brake member 40 has a sufficiently small diameter that the movement of the other linkage parts is not impeded by it.

Another variant consists in that the movement brake member 40 is fastened to the fastening points 38, 39 for the helical spring 37 corresponding points beyond the bisector II-II. You can then retrofit a fitting since then with two coil springs by simply removing one of the two coil springs and replacing it with the movement brake member 40.
