Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a dispenser for pasty products according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such donors are known as outpatient care units in a variety of applications, e.g. for the distribution of creams for health and personal care in the field of household chemicals and shoe care products, but also for the provision of pasty foods, luxury foods and spices.
  • a dispenser for pasty products is known with a cylindrical container containing the product in a container interior, which has on the bottom side a follower piston which can slide on the inside wall of the container under the pressure of the outside atmosphere and has a head piece at its upper end, which has a manually operated conveyor with a pumping chamber and a delivery piston and an outlet channel for the product.
  • the pumping chamber and a strip chamber of an output unit are arranged radially next to one another without a valve and freely communicating with the container space connected.
  • an output unit is provided which has a strip chamber cylinder which delimits the strips, at least one mouthpiece body which delimits the output channel and a visor which is assigned to an output opening of the mouthpiece body.
  • the prior art according to FR-A-2 594 419 has a pump designed as a diaphragm pump for conveying the product.
  • a dispenser device which has a piston pump.
  • the dispenser is used, for example, to dispense toothpaste.
  • the object of the present invention is to improve a dispenser of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it has a particularly simple and safe structure, as a result of which a correspondingly reliable and precisely portioned, clean dispensing of the respective product is achieved over a longer period of time.
  • FIG. 1 shows a dispenser 1 for pasty products according to the present invention in longitudinal section.
  • a product to be dispensed is located within a container 2, the container interior 3 of which merges freely into a pump chamber 5 and a strip chamber 6 on its upper side.
  • the pump chamber 5 and the strip chamber 6 are each delimited by a pump cylinder 7 and a strip chamber cylinder 8, respectively, which are arranged radially next to one another and have a common wall area 9.
  • Pump cylinder 7 and strip comb cylinder 8 form with the container 2 an integral plastic part, which is preferably made as an injection molded part.
  • the other parts of the dispenser which will be explained in more detail below, also consist of injection-molded plastic, preferably of polyethylene or polypropylene, so that the dispenser 1 is very light on the one hand and on the other hand the pasty mass to be dispensed is impaired by the material of the dispenser Donors and vice versa no impairment of the parts of the dispenser 1 which come into contact with the mass to be dispensed due to this mass.
  • a follower piston 4 which is slidable along the inner wall of the container under the influence of atmospheric pressure and is supported against the pump pressure by an expansion spring, through which the pasty mass in the container 2 is constantly under the pressure of the Ambient atmosphere is kept. In this way, a very simple tracking of the pasty product inside the container 2 is ensured upwards into the area of a delivery piston 10 and a negative pressure within the container 2 is avoided when the pasty product is dispensed from the dispenser 1.
  • a first, tubular mouthpiece body 17 is inserted from above into a mounting neck portion of the same, which extends essentially into the region of the transition from the strip chamber 6 to the container interior 3 and that of the strip chamber 6 has an annular structure gives.
  • an opening 17 ' is provided, which also forms the beginning of an output channel 29.
  • openings or slots are provided in the region of the upper end of the strip chamber, which are hereinafter referred to as paint dispenser openings 18.
  • a pasty dye (not shown here) is accommodated in the present exemplary embodiment, which extends within the strip chamber, filling the annular space, downwards to just before the lower end of the first mouthpiece body 17 and there on the rest of the container interior 3 and the pump chamber 5 filling, dispensing pasty product mass, for. B. toothpaste.
  • the pump cylinder 7 and the strip chamber cylinder 8 have opposite on their outer peripheral surfaces 7 'and 8' locking lugs 27a and 27b, which serve the captive reception of a second, the discharge channel 29 continuing second mouthpiece body 15.
  • this is also a plastic injection-molded part, which is latched onto the pump cylinder 7 and the strip chamber cylinder 8 in the region of a shoulder 26, which is formed toward the container 2.
  • the second mouthpiece body 15 thus forms the end of the dispensing channel 29 with the dispensing opening 16. Its release or closure is brought about by a visor 20, which will be explained in detail below and is held with a foot section 22 in a pocket 19 of the second mouthpiece body 15 .
  • a piston delivery device is provided in the remaining area of the headpiece of dispenser 1, which from the pump chamber 5 delimited by the pump cylinder 7 with the delivery piston 10 slidably displaceable therein, an upper actuation sleeve 13, an actuation tube body 12 connecting the actuation sleeve 13 with the delivery piston a return coil spring 14 biased between an outer top of the pump cylinder 7 and an inner bottom surface of the actuating sleeve 13.
  • a region of the second mouthpiece body designed in accordance with the external shape of the actuating sleeve 13 15 also serves as a guide for the actuating sleeve 13 (see also FIG. 2).
  • the visor causing the closure or release of the dispensing opening 16, with which the actuating sleeve 13 engages via nose-like projections 25 as shown in FIG. 1, is also explained in more detail below with reference to FIG. 3.
  • the visor 20 made of a plastic band piece has the shape of an angled band body with an upper, essentially circular closure section 21 covering the dispensing opening 16 in the closed position and a middle foot section 22 extending in the extension of an intermediate section of the visor 20, which is in the pocket 19 of the second mouthpiece body 15 is received in a stationary manner.
  • stripe-shaped actuating fingers 23 are angled obliquely, the arrangement in relation to the adjacent actuating sleeve 13 being such that the actuating fingers 23 engage under the actuating sleeve 13.
  • the visor 20 By accommodating the foot section 22 of the visor 20 in the pocket 19 of the second mouthpiece 15, the visor 20 is clamped on one side and can be pivotally actuated with respect to its area above the angled portion of the actuating fingers 23 by pressing it.
  • the actuating sleeve 13 is provided with nose-shaped projections 25 (see FIG. 2) with which the actuating sleeve 13 engages on the actuating fingers 23 in the region of their angling from the remaining part of the visor 20.
  • the dispenser 1 can be in the area of its head piece be closed off to the outside by a closure cap 28, which can be elastically latched to the second actuating sleeve 13 via latching lugs 27b, in such a way that the closure cap 28 forms a smooth, flush closure to the container 2 in the region of the shoulder 26, so that the entire dispenser has a completely smooth outer contour when closed.
  • the dispenser 1 is provided with a container of oval or elliptical cross-section, so that the dispenser 1 can be designed ergonomically and easy to handle.
  • a design is supported by the design of the dispensing unit A, in particular the strip chamber cylinder 8 and the pump cylinder 7, which are arranged one behind the other in the radial direction. Handling is further facilitated in that the actuating sleeve 13 is arranged at a lower level than the dispensing opening 16.
  • this shows schematically the dispenser 1 with the closure cap 28 removed from above, and in addition to the elliptical basic shape of the dispenser 1 it can be seen that the second mouthpiece 15 also has an oval shape in the region of the dispensing channel 29 or the outlet opening 16 and this also applies to the strip chamber cylinder 8.
  • the strip chamber cylinder and the second mouthpiece body 15 can also have a circular cross section in the region of the discharge channel 29. This also applies equally to the container 2 itself, which, if desired, also has the shape of a straight one Circular cylinder with corresponding consequences for the cross-sectional design of the closure cap 28 and the second mouthpiece body 15 can have.
  • Fig. 2 also illustrates the projections 25 of the actuating sleeve 13 for attacking the actuating fingers 23 of the visor 20, wherein of course other shapes can be selected for this, or a non-protruding design of the actuating sleeve 13 securing the attack on the actuating fingers 23 can be selected.
  • the feed plunger 10 has a hat section 10 'for receiving it on the actuating tube body 12 in a snap connection seat and is designed as a stepped plunger with an end face leading in relation to the pair of ring sealing lips. This leads to pressure relief and improved sealing in the sealing area of the delivery piston 10.
  • the manufacture and assembly of the previously explained dispenser 1, which is designed as a piston dispenser and in particular as a strip dispenser, by means of which a product strand, for example provided with ornamental colored strips, can be provided in a two-component form, is particularly due to the elimination of all valve devices and the serial arrangement of the conveying device and dispensing unit A des Dispenser 1 is particularly simple and straightforward.
  • the delivery piston 10 is the only part to be assembled from the inside and is received in the pump chamber 5 and then, after the return spring 14 has been put on, by pressing the actuating sleeve 13 with the actuating tube body 12 in a snap fit with the latter.
  • the dispenser 1 already assembled in this manner in its head piece is now filled into a head support, with a dye having a pasty or viscous consistency being filled, for example, into the annular strip chamber 6, to a fill level that is just before the end of the first Mouthpiece body 17, or, until just before the opening 17 'extends.
  • the dispenser 1 is filled with the main product to be dispensed, for example with toothpaste, starting with the filling of the pump chamber 5.
  • the main product mass lies on the dye mass within the strip chamber 6 during the filling process and is at least also in the area the opening 17 'of the first Munsdorf stresses 17.
  • the trailing piston 4 is inserted and the dispenser 1 is ready for operation.
  • the closure cap 28 has already been put on beforehand or is finally received on the second mouthpiece body 15.
  • the dispenser 1 is explained below. Starting from a state according to FIG. 1 and the container 2 filled with toothpaste, for example, as well as pump chamber 5 filled with toothpaste and the strip chamber 6 filled, for example, with color paste, the color paste resting above the opening 17 'on the toothpaste, after removal of the closure cap 28 the actuating sleeve 13 is pressed downward by finger pressure against the force of the return spring 14.
  • the dispenser 1 when the dispenser 1 is actuated for the first time, it may be necessary to first guide the product mass to be dispensed into the region of the dispensing opening 16 in an idle stroke, so that product mass is stable from the beginning of the second dispensing stroke the dispensing opening 16 is available.
  • the dispenser 1 when using the dispenser 1 as a strip dispenser to dispense pasty foodstuffs, to provide a spice paste within the strip chamber in order to provide the main food product to be dispensed, which is located within the container 2 and the pumping chamber 5, with a certain spice admixture distributed over the circumference of the dispensed product strand.
  • the dispenser 1 thus opens up an area of application in the cosmetic / medical field, the area of cleaning and care products, e.g. Shoe creams up to the portioned provision of pasty foods.
  • the cross-sectional shape of the container 2 can be varied widely according to the wishes of the users and e.g. in addition to circular cylindrical shapes also include elliptical and other bilaterally symmetrical cross-sectional shapes.
