Abstract

Die Ionen-Cyclotron-Resonanz stellt eine bedeutende Methode der Massenspektroskopie dar. Sogenannte MS/MS-Experimente erlauben auch die Beobachtung von Reaktionen der untersuch­ ten Substanzen. Diese Experimente sind jedoch sehr aufwen­ dig, weil sie selektiv für jeden der eingesetzten Stoffe und jedes einzelne der Reaktionsprodukte besonders durch­ geführt werden müssen. Die Beobachtung komplexer Vorgänge ist daher in der Praxis schwierig.
Mit Hilfe einer zweidimensionalen ICR-Methode lassen sich Reaktionen der untersuchen Substanzen feststellen, wobei die folgende Meßsequenz Anwendung findet:
P₁ - t₁ - P₂ - τm - P₃ - t₂.
Darin bedeuten P₁, P₂ und P₃ HF-Impulse, von denen die HF-Impulse P₁ und P₂ die gleiche Frequenz haben. Diese Meßsequenz wird unter Veränderung von t₁ mehrfach wieder­ holt. Auf diese Weise wird eine Vielzahl von in der Zeit t₂ aufgenommenen Induktionssignalen erhalten, die dann durch Umsetzen vom Zeitbereich in den Frequenzbereich zu einem zweidimensionalen Spektrum führen. Das Umsetzen vom Zeitbereich in den Frequenzbereich kann durch eine zwei­ dimensionale Fourier-Transformation oder nach der Methode der maximalen Entropie erfolgen.
