Description

Diskettenkasten
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Diskettenkasten mit einem Gehäuse, dessen trogartiges Gehäuseunterteil einen Boden, zwei Stirnwände und mehrere im Abstand zueinander angeordnete Trenneinsätze aufweist.
Derartige Diskettenkästen sind in zahlreichen unterschiedlichen Ausführungsformen bekannt. Diesen bekannten Diskettenkästen ist gemeinsam, daß sie je nach den gewählten Abmessungen jeweils nur für Disketten einer bestimmten Größe geeignet sind. Beispielsweise benötigt man für Disketten der gebräuchlichen Größen 3,5" und 5,25" unterschiedliche Diskettenkästen.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, einen Diskettenkasten der eingangs genannten Gattung, zu schaffen, der sich in einfacher Weise für Disketten unterschiedlicher Größen umrüsten läßt.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß der Diskettenkasten zur Aufnahme verschiedener Diskettengrößen einen entfernbaren Zwischenboden aufweist.
Der Diskettenkasten ist so bemessen, daß er ohne den Zwischenboden eine Reihe von größeren Disketten, beispielsweise der Größe 5,25", aufnehmen kann. Durch Einschub und Verankerung des Zwischenbodens wird der Diskettenkasten in einfacher Weise durch einen einzigen Handgriff so umgerüstet, daß er zwei nebeneinander!legende Reihen von kleineren Disketten, beispielsweise der Größe 3,5", aufnehmen kann. In ein und demselben Diskettenkasten können somit nach Wahl des Benutzers unterschiedlich große Disketten aufbewahrt werden.
Durch die einfache Umrüstbarkeit der Diskettenkästen wird außerdem auch die Herstellung und Lagerhaltung vereinfacht, weil für unterschiedliche Diskettengrößen nur noch eine Bauart der Diskettenkästen hergestellt und vorrätig gehalten werden muß. Die Anpassung an die gewünschte Diskettengröße erfolgt in einfacher Weise dadurch, daß der Zwischenboden eingesteckt oder herausgezogen wird.
Die abhängigen Ansprüche betreffen vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen des Erfindungsgedankens.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend an einem Ausführungsbeispiel näher erläutert, das in der Zeichnung dargestellt ist. Es zeigt:
Fig. 1 einen Diskettenkasten in einer Vorderansicht,
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt längs der Linie II-II in Fig. 1 ,

Fig. 5 eine Ansicht des Zwischenbodens in Richtung des Pfeiles V in Fig. 3.
Der in der Zeichnung dargestellte Diskettenkasten ist wahlweise zur Aufnahme von Disketten der Größe 3,5" oder 5,25" bestimmt. Der Diskettenkasten weist ein Gehäuse 1 auf, das aus einem trogartigen Gehäuseunterteil 2 und einem Gehäusedeckel 3 besteht. Im Gehäuseunterteil 2 stehen mehrere, jeweils im Abstand zueinander angeordnete Trenneinsätze 4, zwischen denen Gefache zur Aufnahme der Disketten gebildet werden. Die Trenneinsätze 4 bilden die Trennwände zwischen benachbarten Gefachen. Die Trenneinsätze 4 sind am Boden 5 des Gehäuseunterteils 2 so eingesteckt, daß sie aus der in Fig. 2 gezeigten, leicht geneigten Stellung in die entgegengesetzt geneigte Stellung geklappt werden werden können.
Das Gehäuseunterteil 2 weist eine hintere Stirnwand 6 und eine vordere Stirnwand 7 auf, an der ein Verschluß 8 angebracht ist, mit der der Gehäusedeckel 3 am Gehäuseunterteil 2 verriegelt werden kann. Der Gehäusedeckel 3 ist in einem Gelenk 9 schwenkbar am Gehäuseunterteil 2 gelagert und kann aufgeklappt werden.
Ein horizontaler Zwischenboden 10 ist im Abstand über dem Boden 5 in das Gehäuseunterteil 2 als Einschub einsteckbar. Der Zwischenboden 10 weist eine Zwischenbodenplatte 11 auf, die sich durch horizontale Schlitze 12 in der hinteren Stirnwand 6 und in den
Trenneinsätzen 4 erstreckt. Der Zwischenboden 10 weist eine längsverlaufende Mittelrippe 13 oder Mittelwand auf, die von der Zwischenbodenplatte 11 nach oben ragt.
Am einen Ende des Zwischenbodens 10 ist eine Stirnleiste 14 angeordnet, die im eingesteckten Zustand an der Außenseite der hinteren Stirnwand 6 anliegt. Am anderen Ende weist der Zwischenboden 10 zwei Vorsprünge 15 auf, die sich jeweils durch eine Öffnung der vorderen Stirnwand 7 erstrecken.
Mit dem eingesetzten Zwischenboden 10 kann der dargestellte Diskettenkasten zwei Reihen von Disketten der Größe 3,5" aufnehmen. Die Disketten stehen auf dem Zwischenboden 10 und sind daher von oben gut zugänglich. Die beiden Diskettenreihen werden durch die Mittelrippe 13 getrennt. Wird der Zwischenboden 10 herausgezogen, so ist der Diskettenkasten zur Aufnahme einer einzigen Reihe von Disketten der Größe 5,25" vorbereitet, die dann auf dem Boden 5 stehen.

1. Diskettenkästen mit einem Gehäuse (1 ) , dessen trogartiges Gehäuseunterteil (2) einen Boden (5) , zwei Stirnwände (6, 7) und mehrere im Abstand zueinander angeordnete Trenneinsätze (4) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Diskettenkasten zur Aufnahme verschiedener Diskettengrößen einen entfernbaren Zwischenboden (10) aufweist.
2. Diskettenkasten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet daß der Zwischenboden (10) eine von einer Zwischenbodenplatte (11) nach oben ragende, sich in Längsrichtung des Zwischenbodens (10) erstreckende Mittelrippe (13) aufweist.
3. Diskettenkasten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich der Zwischenboden (10) durch horizontale Schlitze 02) mindestens einer Stirnwand (6) des Gehäuseunterteils (2) und der Trenneinsätze (4) erstreckt.
4. Diskettenkasten nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Zwischenboden (10) eine an der Außenseite der Stirnwand (6) anliegende Stirnleiste (14) aufweist.
