  • An object of the invention is to remedy this state of affairs by providing an anti-theft device whose application extends to any article or object provided that it has at least one attachment structure.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide an anti-theft device of the aforementioned kind which is adaptable to the type of magnetic plate usually used to prevent theft.
  • Yet another object of the invention is to provide an anti-theft device for articles or objects having a hanging structure, a device which is simple in design and easy to mount on the magnetic wafers known in the prior art.
  • the present invention relates to an anti-theft device for articles or objects having at least one attachment structure, this device comprising an anti-theft magnetic plate and being further characterized in that it comprises means for connection of the magnetic plate to said attachment structure, these connection means comprising blocking means which cooperate with the locking device of said magnetic plate and come to lock on the latter, and on the other hand means for connecting the assembly of locking means-magnetic plate on the attachment structure of the object or article to protect.
  • the blocking means consist of a slider, the shape of which follows that of the magnetic plate, this slider being arranged on its upper face to present, at one of its ends, a first flexible tab cooperating at its free end with the device for locking the wafer, and at the other end a second flexible tab having at its free end means of abutment, this second tab having in the longitudinal direction an oblong light which can come in superposition relation with a light of corresponding shape formed in an underlying support structure which may or may not be integral with the body of the magnetic plate.
  • the support structure is a plate in the shape of a U-shaped profile, the wings of which come to bear on the plate and which are inserted in a housing of corresponding shape provided on the plate.
  • the support structure has an upper boss axially centered with the oblong opening and intended to be housed, once the assembly is mounted, in a correspondingly shaped opening provided in the upper face of the slider.
  • connection means are constituted by a fastener having an opening of the free edges of which leave two opposite hooking tabs, advantageously aligned and intended to be introduced into the two oblong slots of the slider and of the support structure, these fasteners being able for example to have the shape of a collar or a split ring.
