Definitions
- the invention relates to a hand brush with a handle part and with a housing designed as a storage for a cleaning liquid, partly with bristles, and with at least one opening between the bristles of the liquid outlet channel, which is closed by means of a valve body that can be opened by hand.
- Hand brushes of the type mentioned in which the bristles can also be replaced by a sponge body or the like, are already known in various forms and for different purposes of use.
- the invention has for its object to design such a hand brush particularly reliable and inexpensive to manufacture.
- valve body is arranged on one side of a spring clip that is modified on the housing and exerts a pretension in the valve closing direction, on the opposite side of which engages a connecting part that leads to a manual control element arranged on the handle part.
- the spring clip which is expediently clamped at both ends on the housing, can be made in one piece with the valve body, the connecting part and the manual actuating member from plastic.
- the valve body is pressed onto its valve seat by the prestressed spring clip, thereby ensuring that no cleaning fluid can run out when the hand brush is removed.
- the form-fitting coupling of the manual actuator with the spring clip and the valve body attached to it additionally ensures that the valve body is lifted from its valve seat in the open position of the manual actuator and releases the liquid outlet channel.
- the valve body cannot get stuck on its valve seat, but is released from its valve seat when the manual control element is adjusted by the force exerted on the manual control element.
- the liquid outlet channel remains open as long as a force is exerted on the manual control slide.
- the prestressed spring clip not only moves the valve body back onto its valve seat, but also moves the released manual control element back into its rest position.
- the housing can advantageously be at least partially composed of two mirror-identical halves, the connecting part being designed as a flexible web and the connecting part and / or the manual actuating member designed as a slide being mounted in guide grooves, some of which are in one and some are formed in the other half of the housing.
- the cover for a filling opening for cleaning liquid which is formed in a known manner on the upper side of the housing, can advantageously be designed as a hinged cover, of whose two pivot pins forming its pivot axis, one projects into a bearing opening of one and the other into a bearing opening of the other housing half.
- the prefabricated closing and opening mechanism and the hinged lid for the filler opening are thus positively inserted into the housing when the two housing halves are put together.
- the hand brush can be provided with a separate brush body which carries the cleaning members and which can be replaced.
- the housing can either have a separate bottom wall, in which an outlet opening which can be closed by the valve body is formed, and on which the separate brush body, which has a through-channel aligned with the outlet opening, can be interchangeably placed, or the bottom of the housing can be fitted by the brush body which can be tightly attached , in which the outlet channel closable by the valve body is formed, itself be formed.
- the handle brush 10 shown in the drawing has a housing 12 enclosing the brush handle 11, to which a round brush body 13 is interchangeably attached.
- the brush handle 11 is designed to be hand-friendly and has an upper recessed grip 14 for the thumb and a ridged recessed grip 15 on the side and below for the remaining fingers of one hand.
- a slider 16 adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the brush handle 11 by means of the thumb. The slider adjustment direction is indicated by a double arrow 17 in FIG. 1.
- a through opening 18 for hanging the brush on a hook is formed at the free end of the brush handle 11.
- the housing 12 with the brush handle 11 is designed as a hollow housing and is composed of two mirror-image identical housing halves 12a and 12b along the sectional plane of FIG. 2. 2 therefore shows the connecting surface of one housing half 12a.
- the housing halves 12a and 12b are injection-molded plastic parts which can subsequently be connected to one another by welding.
- the housing cavity 18, which extends into the brush handle 11, serves as a storage space for cleaning liquid which can be introduced through a filling opening 20 formed on the top of the housing 12 and closable by a hinged lid 19.
- the hinged cover 19 is provided with axle journals 21, which form its pivot axis and of which one engages in a bearing opening of the housing half 12a and the other in a bearing opening of the housing half 12b.
- a circular, curved housing base 22 is inserted into the housing 12 at the bottom and is connected, for example by gluing, to a flange ring 23 of the housing.
- a liquid outlet opening 24 is formed in the center of the housing base 22.
- the bottom wall 22 is provided with an external thread 25, onto which the brush body 13 is screwed with a corresponding internal thread.
- 4a, 4b and 4c show three differently shaped brush bodies 13a, 13b and 13c, which are each provided with a grip edge 26 at the level of their internal thread 27 and have a through channel 28 in the center, which, according to FIG. 2, is aligned with the liquid outlet opening 24 of the housing base 22.
- the brush body 13a is densely covered with relatively thin bristles 29.
- the brush body 13b according to FIG. 4b has a cylindrical sponge body 30, and the brush body 13c shown in FIG. 4c, like the brush body 13 shown in FIG. 2, is equipped with individual bristle tufts 31.
- the liquid outlet opening 24 of the housing base 22 is closed by means of a valve body 32 which is integrally formed on a spring clip 33.
- a flexible connecting web 34 which leads to the slide 16, is formed on the side of the spring clip 33 opposite the valve body 32.
- the spring clip 33 with the valve body 32, the connecting web 34 and the slide 16 can be made in one piece from an elastic plastic material.
- the spring clip 33 which is clamped with its two ends between the housing base 22 and the ring flange 23 of the housing 12, can also consist of spring steel.
- the spring clip 33 is curved and clamped on the housing 12 so that it exerts a prestress on the valve body 32 in its closing direction.
- the flexible connecting web 34 is guided in a guide groove of the housing 12 which, according to the cross-sectional illustration in FIG. 3, is partly in the housing half 12a and partly in the housing half 12b. The same applies to the slide 16.
- valve seat for the valve body can be formed directly on the through-channel 28 of the brush body, which at the same time forms the bottom of the container.
- Fig. 2 shows the valve body 32 in its closed position, in which it is pressed by the bias of the spring clip 33 against the liquid outlet opening 24 and closes it. If cleaning liquid is to get from the storage space 18 into the passage 28 of the brush body 13, the slide 16 is pulled upwards with the thumb on the handle 11, whereby the spring clip 33 with the valve body 32 is lifted off the liquid outlet opening 24. As soon as the slide 16 is released by the thumb, it is pulled back into its initial position shown in FIG. 2 by the force of the spring clip 33, and the valve body 32 closes the liquid outlet opening 24 again.
- FIG. 5 shows a plan view of the outside of a support plate 32 which, according to FIG. 6, can be inserted into a screw ring 33 which has an internal thread 27 for attachment to the external thread 25 of the bottom wall 22 of the handle brush 10.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht der Stielbürste;
- Fig. 2 einen zentralen Längsschnitt durch die Stielbürste;
- Fig. 3 einen Querschnitt durch den Stiel der Stielbürste entlang der Linie III-III in Fig. 2;
- Fig. 4a, 4b, 4c drei prespektivische Einzeldarstellungen von anschraubbaren Bürstenkörpern;
- Fig. 5 eine Draufsicht auf die Außenseite eines anschraubbaren Bürstenkörpers;
