Abstract
Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein phosphatfreies Waschmittel, das sich insbesondere zum Waschen stark verunreinigter, beispielsweise mit Mineralöl verschmutzter Arbeitskleidung eignet und bei seiner Anwendung in Waschautomaten keine störenden Schaummengen entwickelt. Dabei soll das Mittel auch unter besonders kritischen Bedingungen, d. h. auch bei Verwendung von enthärtetem Wasser, wie es in gewerblichen Wäschereien üblicherweise benutzt wird, sowohl im Hauptwaschgang als auch in der Nachspülphase nur unwesentlich schäumen, so daß es in den automatischen Waschanlagen nicht zu Betriebsstörungen kommt.
- Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein phosphatfreies Waschmittel, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an folgenden Bestandteilen:
- a) 0,5 bis 2 Gew.-% Natriumalkylbenzolsulfonat mit linearen, 9 bis 13 C-Atome aufweisenden Alkylketten,
- B) 10 bis 15 Gew.-% eines linearen oder in 2-Stellung methylverzweigten gesättigten, primären Alkohols mit 12 bis 15 C-Atomen, enthaltend 2 bis 4 Ethylenglykolethergruppen,
- C) 4 bis 8 Gew.-% eines linearen oder in 2-Stellung methylverzweigten, gesättigten, primären Alkohols mit 12 bis 15 C-Atomen, enthaltend 6 bis 8 Ethylenglykolethergruppen,
- D) 0 bis 2 Gew.-% eines linearen, gesättigten oder einfach ungesättigten, primären Alkohols mit 16 bis 18 C-Atomen, enthaltend 3 bis 7 Ethylenglykolethergruppen,
- E) 5 bis 20 Gew.-%, bezogen auf wasserfreien Aktivstoffgehalt, eines wasserhaltigen, feinkristallinen Zeoliths vom Typ NaA,
- F) 40 bis 60 Gew.-% Natriumcarbonat (wasserfrei),
- G) 2 bis 7 Gew.-% Natriumsilikat der Zusammensetzung Na₂O : SiO₂ = 1 : 2 bis 1 : 3,4,
- H) 0,5 bis 2 Gew.-% wasserlösliche Polymere mit vergrauungsinhibierender Wirkung,
- I) Rest Wasser und sonstige nichttensidische bzw. nicht gerüststoffartige Waschmittelbestandteile.
- Vorzugsweise weist das Mittel die folgende Zusammensetzung auf:
1 bis 1,8 % Bestandteil A
12 bis 14 % Bestandteil B
5 bis 7,5 % Bestandteil C
0,2 bis 0,8 % Bestandteil D
8 bis 15 % Bestandteil E
45 bis 55 % Bestandteil F
3 bis 5,5 % Bestandteil G
0,8 bis 1,5 % Bestandteil H - Bestandteil (A) besteht aus einem Alkylbenzolsulfonat, das vorzugsweise 10 bis 13 C-Atome in der Alkylkette aufweist und üblicherweise als Dodecylbenzolsulfonat bezeichnet wird.
- Bestandteil (B) weist 12 bis 15 C-Atome im Alkoholrest auf und kann sich von nativen oder synthetischen Alkoholen (Oxoalkoholen) ableiten. Letztere bestehen üblicherweise aus einem Gemisch aus linearen und in 2-Stellung methylverzweigten Alkoholen, wobei der Anteil der linearen überwiegen soll. Bevorzugt sind solche, die im Durchschnitt 2,5 bis 3,5 Ethylenglykolethergruppen aufweisen.
- Bestandteil (C) leitet sich von den gleichen Alkoholen bzw. Alkoholgemischen wie Bestandteil (B) ab. Vorzugsweise beträgt der durchschnittliche Gehalt an Glykolethergruppen 6,5 bis 7,5.
- Wesentlich für die erwünschte geringe Schaumbildung ist die Beobachtung, daß der Anteil an C₁₂-Alkohol, bezogen auf die Alkoholreste, in den Komponenten (B) und (C), nicht mehr als 50 Gew.-% beträgt und daß das Mittel insgesamt nicht mehr als 2 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise nicht mehr als 1 Gew.-% und insbesondere 0,2 bis 0,8 Gew.-% an ethoxylierten C₁₆-C₁₈-Alkoholen enthält.
- Bestandteil (D) kann sich von natürlichen und/oder synthetischen Alkoholen ableiten. Als gut brauchbar haben sich ethoxylierte Talgfettalkohole erwiesen, die im wesentlichen aus einem Gemisch von Cetylalkohol, Stearylalkohol und Oleylalkohol bestehen und 3 bis 7, vorzugsweise 4 bis 6 Ethylenglykolethergruppen enthalten.
- Die Komponente (E) besteht aus einem synthetischen, wasserhaltigen Zeolith NaA, der mindestens zu 80 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise zu mehr als 90 % aus kristallinen Teilchen mit einer Partikelgröße unter 10 µm besteht und keine Teilchen mit einer Partikelgröße über 30 µm enthält. Der Zeolith weist ein Calciumbindevermögen von 100 bis 200 mg CaO/g auf, das nach den Angaben in DE 24 12 837 bestimmt wird.
- Die Komponente (F) besteht aus wasserfreier Soda. Komponente (G) besteht aus Natriumsilikat, das ein Na₂O : SiO₂-Verhältnis von 1 : 2 bis 1 : 3,4 aufweist. Natriumsilikate mit hohem SiO₂-Anteil, d. h. solche mit einem Verhältnis von 1 : 3 bis 1 : 3,4, werden vorzugsweise in Anteilen von höchstens 3 bis 5 Gew.-% eingesetzt, bei solchen mit einem Verhältnis von 1 : 2 bis 1 : 2,5 kann der Zusatz maximal 5 bis 7 Gew.-% betragen. Da in hochkonzentrierten wäßrigen Gemischen (Slurries) der Zeolith (Bestandteil E) und das Natriumsilikat in Wechselwirkung treten können unter Bildung von gröberen Zeolithagglomeraten, werden die Bestandteile (E) und (G) bei der Herstellung der Mittel zweckmäßigerweise getrennt verarbeitet bzw. das Alkalisilikat dem bereits trockenen, zeolithhaltigen Gemisch in trockener Form zugemischt oder als wäßrige Lösung unter agglomerierenden Bedingungen zugemischt.
- Als Bestandteil (H) dienen bekannte nichtionische oder anionische Polymere mit vergrauungsinhibierender Wirkung. Besonders geeignet sind Celluloseether, wie Na-Carboxymethylcellulose und deren Gemische mit anderen Celluloseethern, wie Methylcellulose, Ethylcellulose, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Hydroxypropylcellulose oder Mischether, wie Methyl-hydroxyethylcellulose, Methyl-carboxymethylcellulose oder Ethyl-hydroxyethylcellulose. Weitere geeignete Polymere sind Polyacyrlsäure, Copolymere aus Acrylsäure und Vinylethern, Copolymere aus Acrylsäure und Maleinsäure (Sokalan R ) in Form der Natriumsalze sowie andere bekannte Copolymere der Acrylsäure mit copolymerisierbaren olefinischen Verbindungen. Celluloseether und synthetische Polymere können auch gemeinsam verwendet werden. Als besonders brauchbar haben sich Gemische der Carboxymethylcellulose mit Methylcellulose oder Methyl-hydroxyethylcellulose erwiesen.
- Als weitere nichttensidische bzw. nicht als Gerüststoff wirkende Bestandteil (I) kommen physikalisch oder als Hydrat gebundenes Wasser sowie Neutralsalze, insbesondere Natriumsulfat, in Frage. Zu dieser Gruppe zählen ferner Enzyme, Duftstoffe und pulververbessernde Mittel.
- Die Herstellung der Gemische kann durch Sprühtrocknung aus wäßrigen Ansätzen durch Granulierung oder auch durch Zusammenmischen der körnigen bis pulverförmigen Einzelbestandteile und Zufügen der flüssigen nichtionischen Tenside bzw. der in Wasser gelösten Komponente (A) erfolgen. Eine getrennte Verarbeitung des Zeoliths und des Natriumsilikats ist, wie vorstehend bereits ausgeführt, vorteilhaft. Der Bestandteil (E) kann auch als wasserhaltiger Filterkuchen, wie er bei der Synthese des Zeoliths anfällt, eingesetzt werden, der gemäß der Lehre aus DE 25 27 388 mit geeigneten Dispergierhilfsmitteln stabilisiert ist. Als geeignetes Stabilisierungsmittel empfiehlt sich ein nichtionisches Tensid, insbesondere eine Verbindung gemäß Komponente (D), die vorzugsweise in dieser Form in das Gemisch eingebracht wird. Nach einer Trocknung beträgt der Wassergehalt des zusammengesetzten Mittels einschließlich des in der Komponente (E) enthaltenen Hydratwassers im allgemeinen 6 bis 10 Gew.-%.
- Die Mittel werden im allgemeinen in einer Konzentration von 5 bis 12 g/l, vorzugsweise 8 bis 10 g/l eingesetzt, wobei zweckmäßigerweise enthärtetes, d. h. auf einen Härtegrad von weniger als 2 °dH, insbesondere weniger als 1 °dH enthärtetes Wasser, zum Ansetzen der Waschlauge verwendet wird.
- Es wurde ein Waschmittel der nachstehenden Zusammensetzung geprüft. Die nichtionischen Tenside B und C leiteten sich von Oxoalkoholen der Kettenlänge C₁₂-C₁₅ ab. EO bedeutet angelagertes Ethylenoxid. Die Komponente (E) wurde als wäßrige Dispersion (Feststoffgehalt 50 Gew.-%) eingesetzt und enthielt die Komponente (D) als Dispersionsstabilisator. Die Komponente (H) bestand aus einem 2 : 1-Gemisch aus Na-Carboxymethylcellulose und Methylhydroxyethylcellulose (Hydroxyethyl-Gehalt 0,8 Gew.-%). Die Überführung in ein körniges Pulver erfolgte durch gemeinsames Sprühtrocknen der Komponenten (A) bis (F) und (H) und nachträgliches Aufsprühen einer wäßrigen Lösung der Komponente (G).

- Zum Vergleich wurden Mittel herangezogen, in denen bei sonst unveränderter Zusammensetzung
- V1) die Komponente (A) durch 1 Gew.-% der Komponente (B) und 0,5 Gew.-% der Komponente (C) ersetzt war,
- V2) die Komponenten (A), (B) und (C) insgesamt durch ein Talgalkohol/Oleylalkohol-Gemisch (1 : 1) + 9,5 EO ersetzt waren,
- V3) die Komponenten (B) und (C) durch ein Gemisch aus 2 Gewichtsteilen C₁₂-C₁₄-Fettalkohol + 3 EO mit einem Anteil von 65 % an C₁₂-Alkohol und 1 Gewichtsteil C₁₂-C₁₈-Fettalkohol + 7 EO mit einem Anteil von 20 % an C₁₆-C₁₈-Fettalkohol ersetzt waren,
- V 4) die Komponenten (A), (B) und (C) insgesamt durch ein Gemisch aus 2 Gewichtsteilen Talgalkohol + 5 EO und 1 Gewichtsteil Talgalkohol + 14 EO ersetzt waren.
- Waschautomat mit Frontbeladung (Modell FRISTA R); Waschmittelkonzentration 10 g/l; Beladungsverhältnis 1 : 14,5; Verhältnis von kg Textilgut zu Liter Waschlauge 1 : 5; Wasserhärte 0 °dH; Vorwäsche 20 Minuten bei 70 °C; Klarwäsche 10 Minuten bei 50 bis 60 °C; 3maliges Nachspülen; 2 mal mit enthärtetem Wasser, abschließend mit Leitungswasser.
- Als Textilgewebe wurde veredelte Baumwolle (Bv) verwendet, die mit gebrauchtem Motorenöl (Mineralöl) angeschmutzt worden war. In einer 2. Versuchsreihe wurden folgende Testanschmutzungen gewählt:
Bvʹ Baumwolle veredelt, Staub-Hautfett-Anschmutzung
BP Mischgewebe aus Baumwolle und Polyester, Staub-Hautfett-Anschmutzung,
BvP Mischgewebe aus veredelter Baumwolle und Polyester, Staub-Hautfett-Anschmutzung - Die Waschergebnisse sind in Tabelle I zusammengestellt. Die Schaumhöhe (in cm Schaumsäule über dem Flüssigkeitsniveau) sowie die Schaumcharakteristik im 3. Nachspülgang sind Tabelle II zu entnehmen.
- Die Vergleichsprodukte V1 und V4 zeigten zwar ein günstiges Schaumverhalten, sind jedoch hinsichtlich ihrer Waschleistung unbefriedigend. Das Vergleichsprodukt V2 schäumt im Waschgang stark und im Nachspülgang gering, reicht aber hinsichtlich der Waschleistung gegenüber Mineralöl nicht an das erfindungsgemäße Produkt heran. V3 zeigt nur gegenüber einer Mineralöl-Anschmutzung günstige Waschwirkung; es stört jedoch das intensive Nachschäumen während des Nachspülens der Wäsche.
