This brings the arm 2 into position I, thus completing the tightening operation. During this process, the rod of the cylinder 12 is kept retracted, and the cylinder 12 is maintained at position III shown in Fig. 1.

- the novel printing plate-tightening device for tightening the front and rear portions of the printing plate according to the present invention uses the two hydraulic cylinders. Hence, tightening both portions of the plate can be performed by the single device. In this way, the printing plate exchange operation is automated, thus saving labor. Also, no skillful operator is needed. In addition, the safety of the operation is enhanced. Furthermore, the exchange operation is performed in a shorter time than conventional. Additionally, the novel device has a simple structure and is economical to fabricate.

Claims (3)
- Automatische Druckplatten-Spannvorrichtung für eine Bogendruckmaschine, umfassend
einen Plattenzylinder,
eine von einer Seitenfläche des Zylinders abgehende Kurven- oder Nockenwelle,
einen an der Nockenwelle montierten Arm,
einen ersten Zylinder, welcher den Arm um die Nockenwelle zu drehen vermag, und
einen zweiten Zylinder, welcher die Orientierung des ersten Zylinders zu ändern vermag, wobei das Vorderende des ersten Zylinders lösbar mit dem Vorderende des Arms verbunden ist oder in Eingriff steht. - Automatische Druckplatten-Spannvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der zweite Zylinder mit dem ersten Zylinder derart verbunden ist, daß er die Orientierung des ersten Zylinders zwischen ersten und zweiten Stellungen zu wechseln vermag.
- Automatische Druckplatten-Spannvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder der ersten und zweiten Zylinder aus einem Hydraulikzylinder besteht.
