Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the stability of a locking device and to easily produce the products, by locking a movable plate with said device provided between the movable plate for clamping filter plates and a piston for driving the movable plate.
CONSTITUTION: A locking device 11 consists of a rotating ring 19 keyed to a shaft at the front of a main hydraulic cylinder and a locking ring 20 screwed to the ring 19. In locking a movable plate 6, the plate 6 connected with a piston 13 is advanced by a cylinder 10 to clamp filter plates 4, and then the ring 19 is rotated by a motor 21 to advance the ring 20 screwed to the ring 19. At this time the ring 20, which is set not to rotate by bringing its stopper piece 30 into contact with a stopper pin 29, is advanced to press-contact its front end 20b with the tail end 25a of projected line of the piston rod 13 for locking. By this mechanism, the backward movement of the rod 13 is made impossible and the plate 6 is locked.
