Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft eine Profildichtung aus elastischem Material zur Abdichtung von Fenstern, Türen und Fassaden, insbesondere auf der Wetterseite, mit einer äußeren und einer inneren Dichtzone und auf der Rückseite des Profilgrundkörpers angeformtem Verankerungskeil.
- Bei der Verglasung beispielsweise von Fenstern treten bei der Verwendung der üblichen, in den Ecken auf Gehrung geschnittenen und geklebten Dichtungsrahmen, insbesondere auf der Wetterseite, immer wieder Undichtigkeiten auf. Man ist daher bestrebt, diese kritischen Klebstellen in den Ecken zu vermeiden.
- Die bisher vorgeschlagenen Lösungen sind jedoch gegenüber dem üblichen, in den Ecken geklebten Dichtungsrahmen wesentlich aufwendiger. Projektbezogen auf Maß vorgefertigte Dichtungsrahmen mit vulkanisierten Ecken sind z.B. wesentlich kostenintensiver und erfordern daher eine entsprechende Mindestlosgröße. Bei der Verwendung vorgeformter Ecken, die mit abgelängter Meterware zu Dichtungsrahmen verklebt werden, werden zwar die Klebstellen in dem besonders kritischen Eckbereich vermieden, jedoch verdöppelt sich die Anzahl der Klebstellen.
- Es wurde auch schon vorgeschlagen, sog. umlaufende Dichtungsrahmen zu verwenden, die nur aus einem einzigen, auch an den Ecken durchlaufenden Profilstück bestehen. Diese Dichtungsrahmen weisen nur eine zu verklebende Stoßstelle auf, die zweckmäßigerweise auf die Oberseite des Fensterrahmens, also in einen unkritischen Bereich, gelegt wird.
- Bei der Verwendung umlaufender Dichtungsrahmen kommt der Wahl des Dichtungsprofiles besondere Bedeutung zu. Bei der Umlenkung des Profiles um 90° in den Ecken treten Faltungen auf, die ihrerseits wiederum zu Undichtigkeiten führen können. Die Faltungen werden durch den Dichtungsdruck noch verstärkt. Zusätzlich können durch Faltungen nicht oder nur unzureichend verpressbare Materialanhäufungen im Eckbereich entstehen, welche durch zu starke Druckerhöhung zu Scheiben bruch führen können, jedoch muß ein ausreichend hoher Dichtungsdruck gewährleistet sein.
- Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, eine Profildichtung für umlaufende Dichtungsrahmen anzugeben, die, auch bei hohen Dichtungsdrücken, Faltungen an den Ecken vermeidet und eine vollflächige Anlage der Dichtung an Rahmen und Glas sichergestellt ist.
- Diese Aufgabe wird bei einer Profildichtung der eingangs genannten Art dadurch gelöst, daß die äußere Dichtzone aus geschlossen-zelligem, getriebenem elastomerem bzw.thermoplastischem Werkstoff besteht und als im wesentlichen tropfenförmiger Wulst augebildet ist.
- Die Verwendung eines geschlossen-zelligen, getriebenen Werkstoffes, beispielsweise Moosgummi, für die äußere Dichtlippe ist eine beispielsweise in einem Fensterrahmen umlaufende Verlegung der Profildichtung möglich, ohne daß es im kritischen Eckbereich zu Faltenbildung kommt. Dabei ist durch die Formgebung der Dichtlippe eine ausreichend große Dichtfläche gewährleistet. Durch die sich ergebende Materialanhäufung im Eckbereich wird sogar eine zusätzliche Sicherheit selbst an rauhen und ungleichmäßigen Ecken erreicht wobei sichergestellt ist, daß durch die Verpressung des zelligen Materials die entstehenden Drücke nicht zu Beschädigungen der Glasscheibe führen.
- Durch die tropfenförmige Profilkontur der äußeren Dichtzone ist gewährleistet, daß der Spalt zwischen Glas und Rahmenprofil voll und glatt ausgefüllt wird. Der restliche Querschnitt des Dichtungsprofiles besteht aus üblicherweise für Dichtungsprofile verwendetem elastischem Material. Zweckmäßigerweise weist die innere Dichzone eine Dichtlippe auf, die konkav ausgebildet ist und sich in etwa bis in den Bereich der Mittellinie des Verankerungskeiles erstreckt. Dadurch ist sichergestellt, daß auch im Bereich der inneren Dichtzone eine Faltenbildung weitgehend vermieden wird.
- Die erfindungsgemäße Profildichtung wird anhand eines in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles weiter erläutert.

- Die Profildichtung 1 besteht aus einem Profilgrundkörper 3, auf dessen Rückseite ein Verankerungskeil 2 angeformt ist, durch den die Profildichtung 1 in einer entsprechenden Nut 8 eines Fensterrahmens 7 gehalten wird, wobei die Profildichtung 1 mit ihrer Rückseite am Fensterrahmen 7 anliegt. Die Dichtzonen 4 und 5 der Profildichtung 1 liegen an der abzudichtenden Fensterscheibe 9 an. Auf der Fensterinnenseite wird die Fensterscheibe 9 durch eine Glasleiste 10 und ein Verglasungsprofil 11 gehalten. Das Verglasungsprofil 11 gleicht etwaige Toleranzen aus und erzeugt den für die Dichtigkeit auf der Außenseite erforderlichen Andruck. Mit 12 ist die Scheibenverklotzung bezeichnet.
- Die äußere Dichtzone 4 der Profildichtung 1 besteht aus einem geschlossen-zelligen, getriebenem Werkstoff auf der Basis Elastomere bzw. Thermoplast, wie z.B. Moosgummi, und weist einen im wesentlichen tropfenförmigen Querschnitt auf . Der restliche Querschnitt der Profildichtung 1 besteht aus für Profildichtungen üblichem elastischem Material. Die innere Dichtzone 5 weist eine Dichtlippe auf, die im entspannten Zustand eine konkave Form hat und etwa bis zur Mittellinie 6 des Profilquerschnittes reicht.
