Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gewebebahn in Leinwandbindung für Jachtsegel. Eine Gewebebahn mit Leinwandbindung besitzt einen verhältnismäßig groBen Gewebecrimp, d.h. sie ist dehnbar. Für Jachtsegel werden aber Gewebebahnen mit geringer Dehnbarkeit bevorzugt. Um das zu erreichen hat man Gewebebahnen für Jachtsegel aus stärkeren Fäden hergestellt. Dadurch wird aber das Gewicht der Gewebebahn vergrößert.
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Gewebebahn für Jachtsegel mit geringer Dehnung (Crimp) und geringem Gewicht anzugeben.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst mit einer Gewebebahn in Leinwandbindung, die gekennzeichnet ist durch wechselweise lose und gespannt eingebundene Kettfäden. Insbesondere kann jeder zweite Kettfaden lose eingebunden sein.
  • Bei dieser Gewebebahn ist die Dehnbarkeit (Gewebecrimp) bei gleicher Fadenstärke beachtlich reduziert, während das Gewicht unverändert bleibt. Eine Reduzierung des Gewebecrimps von circa 15 Prozent bei gleichem Gewicht läßt sich ohne weiteres erreichen. Damit eignet sich diese Gewbebahn besonders für Jachtsegel, bei denen eine geringe Dehnbarkeit gefordert wird.
  • Im folgenden wird ein in der Zeichnung dargestelltes Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung erläutert; die einzige Figur zeigt schematisch und in perspektivischer Darstellung einen Ausschnitt aus einer Gewebebahn.
  • Die dargestellte Gewebebahn ist für Jachtsegel bestimmt. Sie besteht aus Schußfäden 1 und Kettfäden 2,3 in Leinwandbindung. Jeder zweite Kettfaden 2 ist straff gespannt in das Gewebe eingebunden, während die zwischen den straff gespannten Kettfäden 2 angeordneten Kettfäden 3 wie üblich in die Gewebebahn eingebunden sind. Dadurch erhält man bei unveränderter Fadenstärke bzw. unverändertem Gewicht der Gewebebahn eine reduzierte Dehnbarkeit bzw. einen reduzierten Gewebecrimp.

Claims (2)

1. Gewebebahn in Leinwandbindung für Jachtsegel, gekennzeichnet durch wechselweise lose und gespannt eingebundene Kettfäden (2,3).
2. Gewebebahn nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder zweite Kettfaden (3) lose eingebunden ist.
