Definitions

  • the invention relates to a refrigerated display unit, with a counter bed accommodating the goods storage space, in which a circulating air flow conveyed by a blower after cooling by a cooling source, for example an evaporator, and possibly humidification by a humidification device in the goods storage space and back to the cold source and possibly the humidification device is conveyed, the cold source and possibly the humidification device being arranged in a housing below the counter bed, preferably in a separate sub-housing of the counter bed, the housing has only a fraction of the length of the counter bed and the cooled and possibly humidified supply air flow from the interior of the housing via at least one passage opening in the bottom of the counter bed starting from this by means of at least one supply air duct running in the longitudinal direction of the counter over a substantial part of its length in the longitudinal direction of the counter to the G e longitudinally assigned counter section of the goods storage space is supplied, and wherein the return air flow from the goods storage space is returned via a return air duct which is common to all counter sections and runs
  • Such a refrigerated display unit is known from DE-OS 32 30 792. This has proven itself in practice.
  • the object of the present invention is to improve the known refrigerated display principle with regard to lower production costs and more effective cooling.
  • the fan is arranged in the passage opening of the bottom of the counter bed and promotes the supply air flow into a distribution chamber located above, from which at least one supply air duct branches off, that the return air flow in the housing is substantially perpendicular from top down through a cold source and the supply air stream leaving the cold source - after reversal - is guided essentially vertically from bottom to top to the fan in the bottom of the counter bed.
  • this novel type of circulating air flow in the housing for cooling and possibly moisture absorption both requires less production of the refrigerated display unit and also achieves better cooling performance.
  • the special type of air circulation in the housing opens up the possibility of making it particularly compact in the depth of the counter, while the housing no longer has to be in the longitudinal direction of the counter, than at the previously known counter.
  • the relatively short flow paths and the type of arrangement of the units for generating the circulating air flow, cooling the circulating air flow and possibly humidifying the circulating air flow also ensure an energetically favorable mode of operation. For this it is only accepted that the blower is no longer located in the housing as in the previously known counter, and in particular is also not accessible from the front of the housing by removing a flap.
  • the new solution of separating the blower and cold source and rearranging the blower behind the cold source outside the housing in the bottom of the counter bed means that the distribution of the circulating air flow over the cross section of the cold source, for example designed as an evaporator, is significantly better and can be designed independently of the blower and usual and thus inexpensive blowers can be used for the promotion of the circulating air flow.
  • the housing underneath the counter bed still serves as a chamber for conditioning the circulating air for temperature and possibly humidity, but the fan is relocated from the interior of the housing to improve the functionality of the refrigerated display unit.
  • a particularly favorable routing of the circulating air flow in the housing and the cooling source is obtained if an intermediate space is left between the cooling source and the housing base for the reversal of the supply air flow from vertically downwards to vertically upwards.
  • a vestibule for the distribution of the return air flow over the entire cross-sectional area of the cold source is left open, although the passage opening in the bottom of the counter bed for the Return air flow is relatively small.
  • additional baffles can be provided.
  • the humidification device which is designed, for example, as a sterile steam generator, is arranged outside the housing, for example on or in the rear of the counter bed, and the moisture is above the inside of the substantially vertical ascending supply air flow nozzle tube is supplied to the interior of the housing. This also ensures that the control of the humidification device can be well monitored and controlled by the sales staff, while a favorable moisture distribution takes place in the interior of the most compact housing possible.
  • the cold source for example in the form of an evaporator
  • the return air flow is inevitably guided through the cold source and rises on the seller side in the direction of the passage opening in the bottom of the counter bed and can accordingly be done on the seller side by simple flow guidance be placed in the goods storage room.
  • the passage opening for the return air flow in the floor of the counter bed is preferably (just now) on the seller side above the cold source. In this way it is achieved that the return air flow below the goods support plate in the goods storage space is returned against the direction of the circulating air flow in the goods storage space over as long a distance as possible and the goods support floor is thus cooled as well as possible from below.
  • the height of the cold source expediently makes up about 1/2 to 2/3 of the clear height of the interior of the housing. This results in favorable flow conditions in the anteroom in front of the cold source and in the space under the cold source with the required power of the cold source.
  • the depth that is to say the dimension prevailing in the direction of the buyer-seller side, should make up about 1/2 to 2/3 of the clear depth of the interior of the housing. This ensures that, with the required power of the cooling source, there is sufficient free space for the vertical inflow of the supply air flow, in which the supply air flow can then also be humidified if necessary.
  • the at least one supply air duct tapers in cross-section, starting from the distribution chamber and towards the longitudinal longitudinal section supplied by it.
  • At least one supply air duct expediently branches off from the distribution chamber on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the counter. In this way, the lengths over which the cooled or possibly humidified supply air must be transported can be kept short.
  • the refrigerated display unit 1 has a goods storage space 2 which is received by a counter bed 3.
  • the goods storage space 2 is covered by a counter top 23 at least on the buyer side and can be delimited on both sides by side walls 31 corresponding approximately to the counter contour.
  • a work surface 16 for the sales personnel above the rear of the counter adjoins the goods storage space 2 and is formed by individual box-shaped elements 32.
  • In the goods storage space 2 there is a removable goods shelf 21, with an extraction slot 22 which is effective essentially over the entire length of the counter being kept free.
  • a housing 7 is arranged below the counter bed 3, which only makes up a fraction of the length of the counter bed 3.
  • the interior 8 of the housing 7 is accessible via an assembly opening 12 which can be closed by a flap 12 '.
  • the housing 7 is in flow connection via two openings 24 (for the supply air flow K) and 24 '(for the return air flow R) that are separated from one another in terms of flow technology.
  • the through openings 24, 24 'thus have at most the length of the housing 7 in the longitudinal direction of the counter.
  • the circulating air flow is conveyed by a blower 5 after it has been cooled and possibly humidified in a cold source 4, for example an evaporator, accommodated in the housing 7.
  • the humidification takes place via a humidification device 6, which is arranged in one of the box elements 32 of the counter front and is designed as a sterile steam generator.
  • the sterile steam is emitted into the interior 8 from a nozzle pipe 6 '.
  • the cooled and possibly humidified supply air K is discharged via the fan 5 arranged in the bottom 18 of the counter bed 3 into a distribution chamber 11 located above it.
  • the fan 5 is accessible from the counter bed 3 and does not interfere with the accessibility of the cold source 4 in the housing 7.
  • supply air ducts 9 branch off from the distribution chamber 11, which extend over a substantial part of their length in the longitudinal direction of the counter to the relevant longitudinal section of the counter, at which the cooled and optionally humidified supply air K is discharged into the goods storage space 2 shall be.
  • the supply air ducts 9 open into vertically upwardly extending ducts 33, which open into the goods storage space 2 directly below the worktop 16 via an outlet opening 10 which may be provided with lamella plates 17.
  • the vertical channels 33 are delimited on their rear side by the thermally insulated counter bed rear wall 30.
  • the cold and possibly humidified supply air K falls slightly from the seller side V to the buyer side E of the refrigerated display unit 1 and leaves the goods storage space 2 via the front extraction slot 22.
  • the return air R is below the goods receiving floor 21 the entire length of the refrigerated display unit 1 is returned in the direction of the seller's side V, to an inlet slot 19 which extends over the entire length of the counter and which opens into a return air duct 20 which also extends over the entire length of the counter.
  • the return air duct 20 is in flow connection with the interior 8 of the housing 7 via the passage opening 24 ', which is no longer than the interior 8 of the housing 7.
  • the return air flow R passes from the passage opening 24 'into an anteroom 26 which is provided above the cold source 4 arranged on the side wall 28 of the housing 7 on the buyer side.
  • Distribution plates 27 can extend from the passage opening 24 'to the cold source 4 in order to apply the effective cross section of the cross section as evenly as possible To reach cold source 4 with the return air flow R.
  • the return air flow flows essentially vertically from top to bottom over its entire height.
  • an intermediate space 25 is left free, in which the already cooled circulating air flow undergoes a reversal of direction and in the seller-side part of the interior 8 of the housing 7 is arranged essentially perpendicularly from bottom to top to that arranged in the bottom 18 of the counter bed 3 Fan 5 flows.
  • the supply air flow K is supplied with moisture in the form of steam via the nozzle pipe 6 '.
  • the nozzle tube 6 ' can be provided with a baffle 13 to promote the exit of the steam from the nozzle tube 6'.
  • the circulation of the circulating air flow starts again from the distribution chamber 11.
  • the configuration of the supply air ducts 9, the distribution chamber 11, the department of the supply air ducts 9 and the distribution chamber 11 of the return air duct 20 and the prechamber 25 as well as part of the bottom 18 of the counter bed 3 can be made from sheets 14, 14 ', 14'',14''' which, if necessary, can be formed as a unit with the inner delimitation of the channels 33 to simplify assembly.
  • the housing 7 is arranged as a separate sub-housing only below approximately half the depth of the counter bed 3 on the seller side.
  • the passage opening 24 'for the return air flow R lies in the bottom 18 of the counter bed 3 as far as possible on the seller side just above the cold source 4. In this way, the best possible cooling of the goods support base 21 can be achieved with a favorable flow distribution in the cold source 4.
  • the height of the cold source 4 makes between about 1/2 to 2/3 of the clear height of the interior 8 of the housing 7.
  • the depth of the cold source 4 makes up about 1/2 to 2/3 of the clear depth of the interior of the housing 7.
  • the supply air channels 9 can be tapered in cross-section from the distribution chamber 11 to the longitudinal bar sections supplied by them.
  • at least one supply air duct 9 can also branch off on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the counter, which are possibly supplied by a fan 9 and are separated from one another by means of a vertical partition wall 15.
  • the housing 7 and the passage openings 24, 24 'for the supply air flow K and the return air flow R can also, as shown in FIG. 3, be arranged eccentrically with respect to the length of the counter.
