Abstract
Un revêtement à coefficient de friction élevé destiné à être appliqué sur des pneumatiques de véhicules et des corps roulant en général dans le but de les rendre antidérapants sur des surfaces de route mouillées, enneigées ou glacées, comprend un substrat élastique d'adhérence au sol et de support dans lequel sont incorporés plusieurs corps durs ou "granules" ayant une dureté d'au moins 7 Mohs et distribués au hasard sur ce substrat et faisant saillie partiellement à la surface du substrat; ce substrat de support est formé à partir d'au moins un caoutchouc et d'au moins une résine synthétique, les granules comprenant une substance inorganique et ayant la forme de polyhèdres irréguliers pouvant être enveloppés par des sphères idéales d'un diamètre de l'ordre de 1 à 9 mm, de préférence 1 à 3 mm.
