- This hardening can be accelerated by means of an oven 37 (FIG. 6) which comprises a preheating chamber 38 intended to avoid any thermal shock, this chamber and the oven being advantageously heated by ramps 39 with infrared radiation.
- the installation comprises, as shown in FIG. 6, a fan 40 blowing hot air on the face of the support opposite to the face 1 thereof, in zones 16 where the support is in contact with uncured material and this so as to accelerate the hardening of the latter so that it does not escape by gravity from the support.
- the means 23 for driving the support 2 from a coil 41 of said support could advantageously be constituted by a motor shaft 42 on which is mounted said coil, an endless belt 33 with mesh, through which hot air can be blown on the face of the support opposite to that which will receive the layer of aggregates 3, which moves the support to coat it with aggregates and an accumulator device 43 arranged between the coil 41 and the endless belt 33.
- This device 43 can accumulate a certain length of unwound support resulting from the differences between the constant linear speed of the endless belt and the variable unwinding speed of the reel and it comprises, on the one hand, a play two cylinders 44 and 45, between which the support passes, disposed upstream of the endless belt and whose cylinder 44 is driven from the belt, so that its linear speed is equal to the linear speed of said belt and, on the other hand, at least one movable cylinder 46 which maintains the length unrolled between the set of cylinders and the coil.
- a cylinder 47 arranged to bear on the layer when the latter has been deposited on the support, and possibly a vibrating table 48, placed under the upper end of the endless belt 33 opposite the cylinder 47.
