Abstract

Bekannte Sichtgeräte enthalten eine Steuerung mit einem Bildspeicher (BSP1), in dessen Zellen, die jeweils einem Bildelement zugeordnet sind und synchron mit der Darstellung der Bildelemente auf dem Sichtgerät (SG) ausge­ lesen werden, Bilddaten gespeichert sind. Gemäß der vorlie­ genden Erfindung werden zum Darstellen von mehreren Bildern, die sich teilweise überdecken, Bilddaten nur für diejenigen Bildelemente in den Bildspeicher (BSPI) eingetra­ gen, welche sichtbar sein sollen. Hierzu sind in den Zellen des Bildspeichers (BSPI) Schreibschutzsignale speicherbar, welche bei einem Schreibbefehl ausgelesen werden und das Einschreiben von neuen Bilddaten sperren.
Hauptanwendungsgebiet der Erfindung sind Sichtge­ räte.
