Definitions

  • DE-U-8 333 722 shows an electronic alarm clock with a ferris wheel that rotates gradually but more or less continuously in front of the dial and to which the passenger cabins hang.
  • children's watches designed as wristwatches, regulated by a balance wheel, the dial of which has any drawing with movable parts, for example a face with movable eyes, in particular with movable pupils.
  • the rotor shaft on the end facing the dial carries an ornamental disk arranged directly below or above the dial, the dial having an opening for the rotor shaft when the disk is arranged above it and with at least one disk arranged below it with a view through part of the window is exposed window, in the latter case, the decor of the window is formed from color and / or drawing in such a way that the section visible in the window changes suddenly every second.
  • the end of the rotor designated as a whole by 1, facing away from the not-drawn dial, which makes a rapid 180 ° rotation after every second, has, as can be seen from FIG. 1, an axle journal 1 which is located in a bearing 2a of the circuit board 2 is stored.
  • the other end of the rotor 1 has a journal 1 b, which is guided through the bearing 3 a in the board 3.
  • an ornamental disc 4 which can be a round disc.
  • this disk can also have any other shape, but it is very expedient if its center of gravity coincides with the pivot point.
  • the journal 1 b is either so long that the disc 4 is directly above the dial, but without touching it and without moving the hour hand disturb, or it is so long that the disc 4 is directly below the dial, also without touching it.
  • the dial In the first case, the dial must be provided with an opening for the journal 1 b, in the second case it must have any windows so that a section of the pane surface and the decor applied to it can be seen through the window or windows.
  • Figures 2 to 10 now show some design options for the decoration of an ornamental disc arranged below the dial and the position of the corresponding window in the dial.
  • the disk 42 of FIG. 2 has only two differently shaped disk halves 42a and 42b.
  • the dial is provided with an opening 52, so that one or the other color can be seen depending on the position of the rotor. Since the disc rotates relatively quickly by 180 ° after every second, it is not possible to determine the transition from one color surface to another, you can only see the sudden color change in the window. Two contrast colors are suitable for the lens. However, one can also provide one half of the disc with a fluorescent, luminescent or fluorescent color and give the other half of the disc the color of the dial. Then the effect will be the same as if a red dot is turned on and off.
  • Figures 5 to 7 show other decorations of the ornamental disc. These are particularly suitable for fashionable watches but also for children's watches in which the dial is provided with an image with parts to be moved, for example a human or animal face with two eyes that are supposed to move.
  • the dial has two windows 55a and 55b, the center points of which lie on a straight line 7 intersecting the geometric axis 6 of the rotor.
  • the bright ornamental disc 45 has only two dark points 45a, 45b, one of which is visible through a window, in the position of the disc shown in the figure, somewhat to the right of the window center. As a result, the dark spots appear in the other window after rotating the window by 180 °, but somewhat to the left of the window center. Due to the rapid rotation of the disc, the disappearance and reappearance of the points will not be seen, but only the old and new positions, so that the impression is created that a point changes its place in the window.
  • the dial has two windows, which are denoted here by 56a and 56b and in which the connecting line 7 of their centers likewise intersects the geometric axis 6 of the rotor. While in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5 the two window points are arranged symmetrically to the rotor axis, in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 6 they have unequal distances from the geometric axis 6 of the rotor, although the distance between the axis 6 and the next point of that of the Axis 6 distant window 56b is at least as large as the distance between the axis and the most distant point of the window 56a closer to the axis.
  • the ornamental disk 46 is now provided for each window with two decors offset by 180 °, which differ from one another, namely a round decor 46a and 46b and an elongated decor 46c and 46d.
  • the rotor rotates 180 °, the other decor suddenly appears in each window, so that it is also possible to equip a picture with moving eyes.
  • the two windows on the dial are to be closer together, they can, as shown in FIG. 7, also be arranged on the same side of the geometric axis 6.
  • the two windows are designated 57a and 57b, the pane 47 and the details of the decorations 47a, 47b, 47c and 47d.
  • all kinds of things can be used as decor, not just eyes, but also hands or fingers, flags, leaves and anything that can move in any way.
  • the disk 48 is arranged below a dial, which is provided with six windows 58a, 58b, 58c, 58d, 58e and 58f which are arranged regularly around a center lying on the geometric axis 68 of the rotor shaft.
  • the ornament disk 48 itself is two-colored and has three color fields 48a, 48b and 48c of one color and three color fields 48d, 48e and 48f of the other color lying between them. With each rotation of the ornamental disc by 180 °, the color in each field changes. One color can match the color of the dial.
  • the ornamental disc 49 is also arranged under the dial.
  • This contains four windows 59a, 59b, 59c and 59d, which are arranged regularly around a center point 59e and form a Maltese cross in the exemplary embodiment shown.
  • the four windows can also be formed separately from one another.
  • the center of the ornamental disc 49 i.e. the geometric one Axis of the rotor, is designated 69 and does not coincide with the center 59e.
  • the pane center 69 lies on a straight line 79 which separates the four windows 59a, 59b, 59c and 59d into two mirror-like opening groups without cutting one of the four openings.
  • the ornament 49a on the ornament disk consists of four individual color spots: two of them are visible through the openings 59b and 59d in the drawn position of the disk. Its center 60 is in the drawn position of the disc 49 under the center 59e of the four openings.
  • the other two color spots are arranged in a point-symmetrical manner with respect to the center of the pane 69 to the two other openings 59a and 59c and are designed such that they do not lie under the openings 59a and 59c in the drawn position of the pane. In this way, it is possible that the disc is turned 180 ° to give the impression that the color spots visible in the opening are rotating around the center of the openings by 90 °.
  • the ornamental disk which is denoted here by 41, is arranged below the dial.
  • This is provided with a cross-shaped window 51, the disc center 61 not coinciding with the center of the cross 51 but lying outside the opening on a line 71 running diagonally through the opening.
  • the ornamental disk 41 is provided with an L-shaped ornament, one bar 41 a of which is located below the one cross bar, while the other bar 41 b is assigned point symmetrically to the other cross bar, the disk center 61 located on the geometric axis of the rotor being the point of symmetry serves.
  • the ornamental disc is arranged above the dial so that it is visible as a whole, you can also give it the shape of a signet or equip it with the color of the dial and apply a signet in a contrasting color, whereby only care must be taken to ensure that a such a signet also has a decorative effect if it has been rotated by 180 ° in relation to the starting position.
