Abstract
The invention relates to a new sailboat stacking, in which two masts erected without shrouds in a common transept plane are connected at the top and each carry a large boom. Both large trees have a slide that can be moved in the longitudinal direction and is connected to the lower leg of a mainsail. The mainsail is designed as a stay sail and is guided on a stay which connects the mast tip with the rear end of the sled. An articulated connection of the two carriages to a pivot point arranged centrally between the two masts by means of push rods gives the possibility of forcibly controlling the tree extension and tree shortening by means of the carriage.
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Segelbootstakelung mit zwei mit Abstand in einer Querschiffsebene angeordneten, an ihrer Spitze verbundenen und nach vom und achtem abgestagten Masten, an denen jeweils ein Großbaum mit Großsegel angeordnet istThe invention relates to a sailboat rigging with two masts spaced apart in a transept plane, connected at their apex and staggered towards and after, on each of which a large boom with mainsail is arranged
The object of the invention is to create a new improved sailboat rigging which is much better than a normal ketch or sloop rig for long toms on windswept courses and makes the boat easily maneuverable by one-handed or two-handed sailors and Avoids pubic filing In particular, however, it is to be avoided that the two mainsails can give each other a large slipstream.
Zur Lösung der vorgenannten Aufgabe ist die Segelbootstakelung der einleitend genannten Art dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an jedem Großbaum für das Unterliek eines als Stagsegel ausgebildeten Großsegels ein in Baumlängsrichtung verschiebbarer Schlitten angeordnet ist, dessen mastseitiges Ende mit der Mastspitze über ein dem Anschluß des Vorlieks dienendes Stag verbunden istTo solve the above-mentioned problem, the sailboat rigging of the type mentioned in the introduction is characterized in that a sled which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the tree is arranged on each large boom for the lower leech of a mainsail designed as a mainsail, the mast-side end of which is connected to the mast tip via a stage serving to connect the luff is
Another feature of the invention is to automate the adjustment of the sled and thus the stay sail in the longitudinal direction of the tree by articulating the mast-side ends of the sled via push rods at a stationary bearing point arranged centrally between the two masts. In this context, it is advantageous if the carriages of the two large trees are articulated via a releasable spreader bar, the length of the bar then corresponding to the mast spacing measured at tree height.
Further features of the invention emerge from the subclaims.

The sailboat shown in FIG. 1 will be described in the following only in connection with its rigging, because basically the shape of the ship and the hull are irrelevant for the present invention.
Each of the two
The special feature of the rigging according to the invention is that the
For the axial adjustment of the
From the above description it can be seen that the two
In addition to a purely manual actuation of the
If, as also shown in FIG. 6, the two
According to a further modification of the invention, it is also possible to form a furling device instead of the
It is obvious that tension can occur in the case of a connection between the
A favorable solution for a sailboat rigging according to the invention, in which the aforementioned tension cannot occur, is shown in FIG. 7, in which components which correspond to those in FIG. 2 have the same reference numerals.
In this case, the
The sled belonging to this curved
The above description shows that the new rigging according to the invention enables a large number of completely new sail positions, since the mainsails can be deployed independently of one another. for example, exhibitions on the outside of more than 90 degrees. Shades of wind in the case of previous winds can be avoided at any time by moving the respective windward sail with its sled after eight, which is also possible due to the aforementioned positive guidance.
