Definitions
- the innovation is based on a diode plug according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Plug connections are generally used for repeated connection or disconnection of electrical conduction paths, with the primary task of reliably and reproducibly making electrical and electrical contact or disconnection over a longer period of time under predetermined mechanical, electrical and climatic environmental conditions. In order to be able to optimally meet these environmental conditions, there is a wealth of embodiments, adapted to the respective intended use.
- the connector described below is one of the connections that, for. B. in radio or television sets or in phono devices. Even in this narrow circle of plug connections there are a very large number of embodiments which e.g.
- the plug connection according to the following description is referred to as a so-called dwarf plug connection or diode plug connection.
- the cable in particular a multi-core cable, is usually soldered to the plug and secured to the plug insert by means of a cable holder as strain relief. If you use a multi-core cable with five or more strands, the soldering requires a considerable amount of time and a certain dexterity.
- other known connection technologies for cables and plug-in connections include screwing, winding ("wire-wrap"), clamping ("termi-point”), plugging, crimping, pressing in and insulation displacement / pressing in.
- an electrical pin element for electrical plug connections which is made of solid material and is provided with an axial pin at the end opposite the pin.
- a cable connection part which is formed from sheet metal material and has a tubular, axially slotted extension and a cable connection part, is pushed onto this pin.
- a soldered or welded connection is provided in order to obtain a permanent, non-detachable connection between the pin element and the cable connection.
- the cable connector consists of tabs arranged in two zones. The tabs of the first zone are used to crimp the stripped conductor, while the tabs of the second zone are used to enclose the wire insulation.
- a further pin-shaped contact element for electrical plug connections is known, which is provided with an axial, concentric bore at the end opposite the pin.
- the cable connector made of sheet metal is provided with a resilient, tubular extension, which is pushed into the bore of the contact element with a snug fit.
- a cylindrical press-in pin which has a conical bevel at one end, is pressed into the cavity of the tubular extension. This creates a clamp connection between the contact element and the cable connection part.
- a positive connection is also provided.
- the edge of the hole is pressed in in the direction of the press-in pin.
- the cable connection part divided into two zones, has tabs, the tabs of the first zone serving to crimp the stripped conductor.
- the tabs of the second zone enclose the conductor insulation.
- the object of the present innovation is to provide a diode plug connection of the type mentioned, in which a preferably multi-core cable can be connected to the plug pin in a detachable or non-detachable manner, wherein the cable should be easier to contact with the conductor connecting part in the detachable connection.
- 1 denotes the diode connector. It consists of an insulating body 2 made of plastic, into which several plug pins 4 arranged in a circle are injected. Accordingly, the actual plug 20 is located on the front side, while a rear section 21 is formed on the rear side, to which the cable can be electrically connected as required by soldering or by means of a plug connection.
- a tubular, electrically conductive sleeve 3 is slid over the insulating body 2 and is made in one piece from die-cast zinc and then galvanically coated with a coating, e.g. B. made of nickel. It has a lateral bore for screwing in a screw 7.
- a rubber grommet 8 is fastened on one side of the sleeve 3.
- the rubber grommet is provided with an annular groove 9 which engages in a collar-like bead 10 of the sleeve.
- a sheet metal tab 12 is attached to the sleeve 3 attached.
- the sheet metal tab 12 itself is in turn attached to the insulating body 2.
- the insulating material body has a T-shaped cutout, not visible in the figures, into which an I-shaped attachment of the sheet metal tab 12 engages.
- the opposite end is provided with two tabs 5, which are bent around the cable 6 in addition to the rubber grommet 8 and serve to relieve the strain on the cable connected to the connector pins. Since the diameter of the insulating material body 2 corresponds to the clear width of the sleeve 3 surrounding it, the insulating material body is fixed immovably after the screw 7 has been tightened.
- the crossbar of the T-profile and the lower crossbar of the I-profile secure the insulating body against pulling out, while the upper crossbar of the I-profile, which extends over the upper edge of the insulating body, prevents it from being pushed in.
- the longitudinal beam provides the necessary protection against twisting.
- the sheet metal tab can also be attached to the insulating body by means of a rivet eyelet, which is located in the middle of the insulating body.
- the connector pin made of a solid material is provided with an axial, concentric bore 14.
- a lateral incision 15 extending into the bore is recessed within the length of the bore.
- each conductor connection part 16 consists of a contact spring part 13 and the connection part 17.
- connection part 17 upstanding tabs 18 are provided which taper to the free end. If the tabs are bent around the individual wires of the cable, they pierce the insulation of the wire with their tip. This process can also be carried out by machine.
- the sleeve-shaped contact spring part 13 is located at the front end of the conductor connection part.
- the manufacture is carried out by punching out from a strip-shaped, roll-tinned material with subsequent bending. So that theêtfederteii 13 can be easily pushed onto the plug pin 4, the contact spring part 13 has a widening 19 on the mouth side. Conveniently, the contact spring part has approximately the length of the rear portion of the plug pin.
