Das Betätigungselement kann z.B. als ein unscheinbarer, an versteckter Stelle angeordneter Druckknopf ausgebildet werden. Eine andere Möglichkeit besteht darin,die zum Einrücken der Kupplung führendepetätigung des Betätigungselementes von einer vorherigen anderweitigen Betätigung abhängig zu machen. Man muß also während des Aufschließens und Öffnens des Türflügels ständig eine Kraft auf das Betätigungselement, z.B. einen Druckknopf, ausüben, da andernfalls die Türe nicht geöffnet werden kann. Eine solche, vom Üblichen stark abweichende Bedienungsweise trägt erheblich zur Einbruchssicherheit bei.
