Definitions
- the present invention relates to a grate with grate bars and grate bars, one end part of the grate bars being held on the grate bars and the other end section resting on the grate bar closest in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the bar, and a grate bar with a holder transverse to its longitudinal extent and one in the direction thereof Longitudinal running surface.
- grates with grate bars 1 which have a holder in the form of a recess at one end section 3 and an upstanding support section 7 at their other end section 5.
- Such grate bars 1 are attached to the holder End section 3 placed on grate bars 9, so that they lie against each other inclined by the support section 7 of the one bar resting on the end section with the holder 3 of the front bar 1.
- grate bars of this type are exposed to extreme thermal stress, this being particularly true for the exposed support parts 7. while the other end section 3 of the bars 1 is covered by the preceding grate bar.
- grate bars 1 often have to be replaced because the mentioned end section 7 is worn out, but it is additionally stressed by stoking, which is usually done by relative longitudinal displacement of every second grate bar with respect to the rest, as indicated by S in Fig. 1.
- Such a grate is known from US-A-3 126 846. It comprises grate bars and grate bar profiles, the grate bars being suspended on one end part of the grate bar profiles. The other ends of the grate bars rest on the grate bars closest in the longitudinal direction of the bar. Driven via the grate bar profiles, the grate bars are moved back and forth linearly, rubbing against one another. The end sections resting on the next grate bars are exposed to extreme thermal stresses and worn out much more quickly than the grate bar end sections suspended on the grate bar profiles. If the grate bars are worn out, they can no longer be used.
- the present invention aims to provide a grate of the type mentioned, in which the grate bars can be used longer.
- a grate plate which has hook-shaped hooking arrangements which are transverse to its longitudinal extension at two end parts and bearing surfaces at the ends of the hooked hooking arrangements which are aligned in the direction of their longitudinal extension.
- This grate plate forming the grate, has passages to ensure air circulation.
- the plate Due to the symmetrical configuration of the plate with respect to the suspension arrangements, it is possible to hang the plate optionally on one or the other end section on the provided holding rod, the grate plate resting immovably on its end on a closing plate during operation.
- the grate plate is therefore used stationary, and no scouring back and forth movements are carried out on it, as is the case with grates made of grate bars of the type described above.
- the present invention aims to provide a grate bar which is suitable for use on grates with a plurality of grate bars, in which the grate bars, as explained above, are moved relative to one another in an abrasive movement, and which compared to known ones Grate bars of this type can be used for longer.
- FIG. 2 shows a side view of a grate bar according to the invention.
- the rod 13 At both ends of the rod 13 it has support portions 15 which are formed by bending the rod ends in a rod cutting plane comprising a longitudinal axis A of the rod.
- a mounting recess 17 On the inside of the bent-up support parts 15, a mounting recess 17 is provided, which, as shown on the left in the figure, holds the grate bar 13 on a grate bar 19. Thanks to the symmetrical design of the rod 13, as far as mounting recesses 17 and support parts 15 are concerned, the grate rod 13 can only be rotated when the one support part 15 is shown schematically as at 21 and can be applied to the rod 19 with the corresponding second recess 17.
- the wear 21 of the rod end used for support with the support section 15 subsequently affects the use of the same rod section, with its recess 17 for mounting on the rod 19, in a small manner.
- the rod 13 is preferably made in one piece without welding work.
