Definitions
- the invention relates to a self-supporting plate made of insulating materials, which can be fixed between other components by means of two opposite end faces.
- Rigid insulation panels are often installed between the rafters to insulate rafters roofs.
- the dimensions of the insulation boards are precisely specified by the production.
- dimensional deviations cannot be avoided when installing roof trusses.
- the organic building material wood can also warp over time. In addition to the difficulty during assembly, all of these influences can cause gaps, which reduce the overall thermal insulation to an undesirable extent.
- a plate-shaped molded part made of tough-hard foam is known, in which incisions perpendicular to the plate main plane are arranged at intervals smaller than the plate thickness.
- the object of the invention is to find an insulating element. which can be attached with the opposite end faces between two components without tools and which, despite prefabrication by the manufacturer, compensates for the constructional and climate-related deviations to a uniform extent, where necessary a moisture barrier layer should be present, in particular to drain off the surface water during the construction phase.
- the object of the invention is achieved in that one or more end faces of the plate at least one resiliently extending tongue-like in the direction of the main plane. Have edge training.
- the plate can be easily inserted between two rafters by one man without mechanical aids.
- the self-supporting plate - made of plastic foam, for example - is then securely supported by the bent tongue-like edge formation - even when the roof is moving.
- the spring-like edge formation consists of one or more tongues projecting from the end face.
- the design consists of a spring-like edge which is formed by an incision in the plate at an angle 60 60 °, in particular c 45 °.
- the formation is formed by two incisions in the form of a dovetail.
- the solution has the advantage that the end face of the edge lies close to the rafters due to the possible tilting movement in the remaining part between the incisions, whereby the wedge-shaped design also means greater pressure forces, i. more scope in the horizontal plane, can be absorbed more easily.
- the plate has a resilient edge formation made of a tongue-like protruding metal foil.
- metal foils made of aluminum or stainless steel - which may be reinforced by foam layers - are arranged along at least some edges, the projecting resilient edge formation securely engages in a longitudinal groove of the adjacent rafters, so that slipping during assembly, lifting by wind suction or falling out after installation is prevented.
- metal foils allow multiple installation and removal without loss of function.
- the construction is therefore particularly suitable for places that must remain accessible for control reasons. Covering the panels with a metal foil also allows the surface water to be discharged without damage, which can occur as rain or snow if the roof skin is still missing or damaged. In addition, moisture generated in the mineral fiber area can escape through the contact surfaces of the film on the rafters.
- a plate 1 is provided on the end face 2 with a projecting resilient tongue as edge formation 3, the length of which is increased by an incision 4.
- the bent tongue 3 bears against the side surface 5 of the rafter 6, it being possible for an adhesive (not shown) to be additionally introduced in the joint area.
- a plate 1 is shown on the end face 2 with tongues 3 running parallel to the main plane with slots 4 lying between them, which in the installed state are supported resiliently against the side surface 5 of the rafters 6 and the plate, under an arcuate bend 1 seal there.
- the length and thickness of the tongues 3 depend on the elasticity of the plate material, the length to thickness ratio to one another being greater than 2: 1, in particular greater than 4: 1.
- dovetail-shaped incisions 4 are made in the area of the end face in such a way that, during installation, only the narrow area that has remained between the two incisions 4 must be pressed together and that after relieving the edge 7 with the end face 2 lies cleanly, that the area which has stopped, in particular when the incisions are widened outwards, acts like a joint.
- a plate 1 is drawn, which consists of a layer of mineral wool 8, a PUR layer 9 and an aluminum foil 10. On two sides projecting resilient tongues 11 from a laminated aluminum foil engage in grooves 12 of the parallel rafters 13 and hold the plate 1 securely.
- a clamping plate 14 serves as the lower space limitation, the rafters 13 are provided with roof battens 15 and roof tiles 16 at the top.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1 Platte mit gerader Zunge
- Fig. 2 Platte mit mehreren geraden Zungen
- Fig. 3 Platte mit schwalbenschwanzförmiger Zunge
- Fig. 4 Platte mit folienartiger Zunge.
