  • the steam generator is located in a chamber 16 which is communicated to the first ventilating duct through commands imparted on the swinging vane 10; thus, the ventilating air is heated while sweeping past the generator and promotes drying of the article to be ironed.
  • a coil 17 wherethrough the steam flow is passed which thus reaches the water trap tank after heating the air being fed into the compartment 13 and forming a thermal exchange device.
  • a steam blowing nozzle 18 underlaid by members for supporting clothes to be ironed comprising in this case trousers supports fabricated in a manner known per se for example by means of a fixed bow 19 cooperating with a moving bow 20, which is loaded by a counterweight 21 and holds the cited trousers spread and suspended under the blowing nozzle.

  • the throttle 26 opens to allow exhausting of the previously introduced air and/ or steam, through the distributor 28 which may be connected directly to the exterior of the room where the machine is thus avoiding pollution of the room.
  • the operator may set up the second booth for example by arranging for ironing the trousers 22.
  • Said rigging is effected by loading the trousers at the waist on the bows 19 and 20 and then releasing the latter bow such that, under the effect of the counterweight 21, it holds the trousers spread and firmly at an area underlying the nozzle 18.

Claims (9)

1. Machine pour le repassage de vêtements à la vapeur comprenant, à l'intérieur d'une armoire (2), des éléments (5, 6) supportant les vêtements à repasser et étant connectés fonctionnellement à des éléments de soufflage de vapeur (18) et à un groupe de ventilation (7), caractérisée en ce que lesdits éléments supports (5, 6) sont logés dans au moins deux cabines séparées (3, 4), au moins l'une de ces cabines (3, 4) étant équipée pour le repassage à la vapeur de pantalons (22) et analogues, et au moins une autre desdites cabines (3, 4) étant équipée pour le repassage de vêtements tels que vestes, manteaux et analogues, une seule porte de fermeture (30) étant prévue pour lesdites cabines.
2. Machine suivant la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que ladite porte (30) est tenue de façon coulissante sur ladite armoire (2) et ferme alternativement l'une ou l'autre desdites cabines (3, 4).

Machine suivant la revendication 1 et/ou 2, caractérisée en ce que ladite porte (30) est montée sur des glissières (31) prévues sur les bords avant de ladite armoire (2) et elle coopère avec un déflecteur (11) agissant sur ledit groupe de ventilation (7) et/ou le dispositif de soufflage de vapeur (18) pour les connecter en communication de fluide avec celle desdites cabines (3, 4) qui est fermée par ladite porte (30).
4. Machine suivant une ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que ledit déflecteur (11) comprend, sur un cadre (36) de ladite porte (30), deux broches (39) qui coopèrent avec un levier de déflecteur (40) agissant par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison (41) sur un volet oscillant (10) monté dans ledit groupe de ventilation (7).
5. Machine suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que, entre les cabines adjacentes (3, 4) est défini un espace (12) en communication de fluide avec ledit groupe de ventilation (7) et l'une ou l'autre desdites cabines (3, 4).
6. Machine suivant une ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que, sur ledit groupe de ventilation (7), est prévu un dispositif d'étranglement (47) pour le réglage du débit d'air envoyé auxdites cabines (3, 4).
7. Machine suivant une ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que lesdites cabines (3, 4) comportent des clapets unidirectionnels sur des conduits d'évacuation (27, 80).
8. Machine suivant une ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que, dans au moins l'une desdites cabines (3, 4), sont prévues des consoles (49) montées de façon démontable sur des blocs (48), pour suspension de porte-manteaux.
9. Machine suivant une ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en -ce que lesdits éléments de soufflage de vapeur (18) sont munis de dispositifs d'échange thermique (13, 11, 17) pour chauffer l'air envoyé par ledit groupe de ventilation (7) auxdites cabines (3, 4).
